Abstract: A reinforced multilayer material includes a mesh material covered on at least one side, and possibly both, by a layer of a resinous film material. The mesh material includes filaments that intersect one another, at least some of the filaments being composite filaments having a carrier portion of a relatively high melting point and a bonding portion of a relatively low melting point, the bonding portion of each composite filament being thermally bonded to other filaments at least some points of intersection. The multilayer material has a mass per unit area of less than 9.0 oz/yd2 and a bursting strength to mass per unit area ratio of at least 9.0 lbs/(oz/yd2), where bursting strength is measured in accordance with ASTM-D37 86. A bag is provided that is made at least in part from a multilayer material having at least some of the characteristics described above.

Abstract: A water dispersing bag for transporting, storing, and/or holding medical equipment is provided. In some configurations, the bag can include a lower portion, an upper portion, a handle, and a shoulder strap. The handle can include a handle strap. The shoulder strap can include a shoulder strap connector. In some embodiments, the bag can include a locking mechanism that can allow access to an interior of the bag.

Abstract: A receptacle liner for gripping the receptacle and method of making. A liner may be formed by one or more panels including at least one resilient segment extending from a bottom to a top of the liner. The liner segment can be coextruded so that the resilient segment is made from resilient material and other portions of the liner are made from another material that is less resilient. When the liner is placed in a receptacle, the liner can be expanded by resiliently stretching the resilient segment so that the liner may apply a gripping force to the receptacle. The liner can include gusseted side panels. A mouth can be formed as a recess in the top ends of front and rear panels and extend through the gusseted side panels to define handle portions and form apertures in the handle portions that open to the mouth.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus attachable to a container and usable to secure the container closed. The apparatus is transitionable from a nonuse configuration to a use configuration to form an (at least partially) elastic loop attached to the container and usable to circumscribe the container to secure the container closed.

Abstract: A gift bag having an envelope-shaped pocket therein for transporting and presenting an envelope, card, or other merchandise with the gift bag is provided. The pocket may be integrally formed with the gift bag, or at least partially formed from a separately attached piece, and may be positioned at various locations within the bag. The pocket may also be formed to look like an envelope.

Abstract: A steam-releasing pouch includes two laminated sheets forming an accommodation compartment that accommodates a content, a sealing portion that seals the two sheets to form an opening that opens part of the accommodation compartment, and a steam-releasing sealing portion formed in the sealing portion to open as pressure of the accommodation compartment increases in a state in which the opening is sealed. The steam-releasing sealing portion includes a first sealant layer having at least a first base layer that faces the accommodation compartment and a second base layer laminated with the first base layer and a second sealant layer having at least a third base layer that faces the accommodation compartment and a fourth base layer laminated with the third base layer. The first base layer and the third base layer are joined together.

Abstract: A multi-layer film and a film package made from the film are described herein that provide resealing capabilities by utilizing a tacky layer within the multi-layer film. The multi-layer film can include an outer film portion including the embedded tacky layer and an inner film portion. An opening feature formed in the multi-layer film includes a flap configured to be manipulated by a user to create an opening through the multi-layer film. The inner film portion can include a release layer configured specifically to interact with the tacky layer to provide a desired separation peel force and resealing functionalities. The outer film portion can include an outer film layer disposed on an opposite side of the tacky layer from the release layer that is configured to permanently adhere to the tacky layer.

Abstract: Bag made of paper material for archiving articles comprising a first and a second sheet-like element and a closure flap projectingly extended from the first sheet-like element and susceptible of being folded in partial superimposition on the second sheet-like element in order to close the bag. The closure flap is provided with a first portion for a first closure of the bag and with a second portion for a second closure of the bag, and between such first and second portion a tear tape is arranged which is susceptible of being torn in order to separate the first portion from the second portion. In addition, the bag is provided with a removable flap projectingly extended from the second sheet-like element between a second free end and a weakening line, which is susceptible of being torn in order to remove the removable flap from the second sheet-like element.

Abstract: A method of manufacture and an adhesive patch vent is provided for application to a flexible packaging material. A fabric material has an adhesive applied to its surface. The adhesive being applied to outer portions of the fabric material where a central portion is adhesive free. The adhesive patch vent is applied to an interior of a flexible package material where the adhesive free portion aligns with a perforation in the flexible package material. The adhesive vent patch enables air to be expelled from a package but is resistant to damage to the exterior of the bag. In addition a food grade oil resistant adhesive is utilized.

Abstract: A package securing system is disclosed suitable for large and small packages and envelopes. Said package securing system comprises a container into which a user would place items to be secured, and a peg or post onto which the user would place the container. Sliding the container past a flange on the peg causes the container to be locked onto the peg. A user may then operate an unlocking mechanism to remove the barrier to removal. The disclosed package securing system is easy to use prompting adoption by delivery persons.

Abstract: A tethered pouch adapted to carry an device, tool or equipment, has a shell with a proximal opening that leads to an interior pocket, wherein the shell is constructed of a first material and a second material where the second material may be configured as a viewing window and the shell has at least one access opening configured to receive a digit of a user's hand for contacting and operating the item, such as a mobile phone.

Abstract: A magnetic pouch attachment mechanism may include one or more magnetic pouch mounts having an alignment plate with one or more magnetic areas disposed within the alignment plate. The magnetic pouch mount may also include a pouch that may be removably coupled with the one or more magnetic pouch mounts such that when the pouch is placed in proximity to the one or more magnetic pouch mounts, an attractive magnetic force is exerted between the pouch and the one or more magnetic pouch mounts such that the pouch aligns with and couples to the one or more magnetic pouch mounts. A mounting bracket coupled to the pouch may include one or more bracket magnetic areas disposed within the mounting bracket and configured to induce an attractive magnetic force with the one or more magnetic areas.

Abstract: A hermetically sealed flat container for containing loose materials may include: first and second flexible sheet elements, having polygonal shape, which are coupled together by welds formed along a perimeter of their polygonal shape, to define a volume for containing the materials. The perimeter may define a plurality of edges, one edge forming a bearing edge for the container to rest upon a base. The bearing edge may progressively reduce its transverse dimensions toward one end such that, when the bearing edge rests on the base, a weight-force component of the materials applied to the bearing edge causes a reaction that causes the bearing edge to retract into the volume and imparts vertical stability to the container. The container further comprises a strip of stiffening material attached to the first and second flexible sheet elements, the strip spaced from the bearing edge except for end portions of the strip.

Abstract: A carry container is interchangeable between a closed position and an open position, wherein the container converts into a protective mat, such as a placemat, and becomes a barrier against germs. In one embodiment, the carry container includes an outer shell including a bottom panel and four side panels extending from the bottom panel and being configured to releasably attach to each of the two neighboring side panels using a fastener to form a container for carrying one or more items, such as food items. An inner lining formed by a generally square sheet is attached to an inner facing side of the outer shell and defines the protective mat when the outer shell is in an open position and flat on a surface. The container can be easily converted between the closed position (lunch box) and fully open position (protective mat). A larger version for the container is also described with a portion of the inner liner folded in the closed position.

Abstract: A method (100) of making an integrated handle (304) on at least one side gusset (308) of a flexible package (300) is provided. The method (100) includes steps of sealing a handle patch (222) on at least one half width of the side gusset laminate (218). Further, the method (100) provides parallel openings on the handle patch (222) such that a centre line of the two parallel openings coincides with centre lines of each half of the side gusset laminate (218). A cover patch (226) is sealed over the handle patch (222) overlapping the edges of the handle patch (222) and simultaneously with the side gusset laminate (218) all around, such that a predefined area is left unsealed between the two parallel openings. The longitudinal edges of the side gusset laminate (218) are folded such that the handle patch (222) comes on the outer surface of the continuous open tube (242) being formed. The continuous open tube (242) is thereby used for manufacturing the flexible package (300).

Abstract: A stand-up plastic food storage bag having two bottom gusset walls and a folding seam defining abutment of the front bottom gusset wall to the rear bottom gusset wall. There are gusset wall reinforced regions on an external surface of the bottom gusset walls which do not cover the folding seam, so they do not significantly interfere with folding the seam when collapsing the bag into its storage condition.
