  • Patent number: 9671764
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a control system including a sensing device capable of periodically driving a corresponding operation device based on a trigger policy, wherein the sensing device and the operation device have the same trigger policy stored therein. The control system is characterized in that the trigger policy at least includes a trigger code, a time data (such as “after 15 minutes”) and an operation data (such as “turn on a lamp”). When the sensing device detects a sensing signal, the sensing device generates and transmits a trigger instruction to the operation device. When the operation device determines that a trigger code carried in the trigger instruction matches with a second identification code stored therein, the operation device calculates an expiration time of the time data based on the current time, and then executes an action corresponding to the operation data at the expiration time.

  • Patent number: 9662727
Abstract: A machine tool includes a first-pass rotation speed computing section. The first-pass rotation speed computing section automatically decides whether the main spindle rotation speed in the first pass should be a high rotation speed or a low rotation speed so that cutting in the last tool pass is performed at the high rotation speed. Thus, cutting of the last tool pass at the low rotation speed can be reliably prevented.

  • Patent number: 9557076
Abstract: By a feedback arithmetic operation based on a temperature deviation, an input number is set which corresponds to a requested heat quantity generation, which is a controlled object, to a hot water supply apparatus. The temperature deviation is calculated by correcting a deviation of a tapping temperature with respect to a set hot water temperature with use of a Smith compensation temperature calculated by a Smith compensator for predicting a variation in a tapping temperature prior to an elapse of a dead time corresponding to a detection lag of the tapping temperature. The Smith compensator calculates a Smith compensation temperature to be used in the next control cycle based on the input scale number, the present Smith compensation temperature, and a time constant set in accordance with a flow rate of the hot water supply apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9513610
Abstract: An integrated multivariable predictive controller (MPC) and tester is disclosed. The invention system provides optimal control and step testing of a multivariable dynamic process using a small amplitude step for model identification purposes, without moving too far from optimal control targets. A tunable parameter specifies the trade-off between optimal process operation and minimum movement of process variables, establishing a middle ground between running a MPC on the Minimum Cost setting and the Minimum Move setting. Exploiting this middle ground, embodiments carry out low amplitude step testing near the optimal steady state solution, such that the data is suitable for modeling purposes. The new system decides when the MPC should run in optimization mode and when it can run in constrained step testing mode. The invention system determines when and how big the superimposed step testing signals can be, such that the temporary optimization give-away is constrained to an acceptable range.
