Abstract: A fastener for attaching an identification placard having a post to a lid for a utility vault from a single side of the lid, the fastener includes a body portion for positioning within a hole in the lid, the fastener having tabs for retaining the fastener to the lid and lobes for preventing over insertion of the fastener into the hole in the lid and a bore extending through or partially through the body portion for receipt of and friction retention and/or mechanical interlocking of the post of the identification placard.

Abstract: A seating structure includes a frame, a carrier, and a suspension material. The frame includes first and second side frame members spaced apart in a first direction and defining an opening therebetween. The first and second side frame members have an inner portion facing the opening and an outer portion facing away from the opening, the outer portion including a plurality of first attachment features facing away from the first and second side frame members in the first direction. The carrier includes first and second side carrier members. The first and second side carrier members include a plurality of second attachment features facing the first and second side frame members in the first direction, the plurality of second attachment features engaging the plurality of first attachment features to attach the carrier to the frame. The suspension material is attached to the carrier and extends over the opening in the frame.

Abstract: A label and bundling assembly is disclosed that includes a label having a first end and a second end, an attachment component having a first point, a second point, a top side and an underside comprising a waterproof adhesive, wherein the adhesive is fully coated on the underside, and a bunching component, wherein the first point of the attachment component is coupled with the second end of the label, wherein the bunching component is secured to the adhesive of the attachment component, and wherein the second point of the attachment component is brought around a portion of the bunching component and the underside of the second point of the attachment component is brought into contact with the underside of the first point, such that the first point, the second point, and the bunching component form a waterproof seal. Methods of using contemplated embodiments are also disclosed.

Abstract: A device for displaying a document comprises a front planar sheet and a rear planar sheet, each sheet having three edges that are coterminous with and permanently affixed to a corresponding edge of the other sheet, thereby forming an envelope having three sealed edges and an open end; an adhesive strip affixed to either the front sheet or the rear sheet and positioned across the open end between the front and rear sheets to selectively seal the open end; and a first corner seal and a second corner seal, each extending onto but not all the way through the adhesive strip on opposite ends of the open end. When the open end is sealed, the device is waterproof.

Abstract: A poster board whose central region is thicker than its peripheral region. The peripheral region having a reflective and refractive surface that provides iridescent color hues within a rainbow spectrum. The reflective and refractive surface may contain a holographic pattern of geometric shapes of different sizes and shapes. The reflective and refractive surface may give rise to spaced apart bands with each of the bands containing the rainbow spectrum of color hues.

Abstract: Embodiments comprise a greeting card with a self-retracting, pullout banner and an activation feature tied a movement of the self-retracting banner. The activation feature may include a visual or audio output and can be provided by an electronic component. The self-retracting banner may be affixed to an edge of the greeting card. A user may extend the banner by pulling the handle away from the greeting card. As such, the self-retracting banner is movable to and between a fully retracted and closed first position and a fully extended and open second position. The activation feature may be a sound activation feature that generates an audio output through a speaker when the self-retracting banner is moved out of the closed first position. Both the activation feature and the self-retracting banner can include content that may supplement a message or artwork included on panels of the greeting card.

Abstract: Self-erectable displays and methods of making such self-erectable displays are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a shroud including a first shroud panel opposite a second shroud panel, the first shroud panel and the second shroud panel coupled at a first end of the shroud and a second end of the shroud. A support to be coupled to a first internal surface of the first shroud panel at a first position and to a second internal surface of the second shroud panel at a second position, the first position and the second position located between the first end and the second end, and an elastic band disposed about an exterior of the support, the elastic band biasing the first position away from the second position.

Abstract: This rotating message panel apparatus relates to a rigid panel that allows for printed indicia or bumper-type stickers to be placed on a vehicle in a manner that that is quickly and easily mounted or removed without marking or damaging the message panel or the vehicle. The message panel rotates to allow for viewing the message primarily from the sides when the vehicle is in motion and primarily from the rear/front when the vehicle is at rest. The controlled rotating action draws greater attention to the message. When employing bumper-type stickers, the message panel allows for changing the message as desired.

Abstract: There is provided a system for securing a sign to a support surface. The system comprises a magnetically releasable lock adapted to automatically lock mutually displaceable surface portions together. The system ensures locking of the two mutually displaceable portions without the visible information-carrying part being disfigured. Unauthorized persons cannot remove the information-carrying part without having knowledge about the location of the magnetically releasable lock.

Abstract: A foldable baby chair including a bottom portion, a back portion, and a hinged joint connecting the bottom portion to the back portion, wherein the bottom portion and the back portion include a substantially similar and substantially rectangular shape and size, and wherein the hinged joint is to allow the back portion to be configured in different pre-defined positions in relation to the bottom portion, the predefined positions including at least one of a position substantially at 90° to the bottom portion to be configured in a upright chair position, a position wherein the back portion is substantially parallel to the bottom portion, and a position wherein the back portion is substantially 180° and planar to the bottom portion. The baby chair may further include a set of foldable legs fixed to the bottom portion, wherein the set of foldable legs include any of plastic and aluminum.

Abstract: A branding device includes a housing, a faceplate, a backlit recess within the housing, housing retention features, and faceplate retention features. The branding device is configured to be installed within a corresponding recess of a panel, such that the faceplate can be removed and replaced without requiring replacement of the entire branding device. To update the branding information of the branding device, the faceplate retention features must be disengaged from the rear of the branding device, the faceplate is then removed, and a faceplate with updated branding information is then installed.

Abstract: A theft-resistant sign bracket for use with a ballistic fence comprises a bracket member having a slot for a one-way bolt used to secure a sign to the bracket, an internal space, elongated in the direction of elongation of the slot, for receiving and preventing rotation of a nut engaged with the shank of the bolt while allowing positioning of the nut and bolt at a desired location along the slot, and a metal tie strip extending through an internal passage in the bracket and capable of being passed through two spaced openings in the ballistic fence for securing the bracket to the fence. One or more grooves formed in the space through which the tie strip extends prevent lateral movement of the bracket relative to the tie strip.

Abstract: A color changing display system includes a fabric body, a light source connected to the fabric body, a controller electrically connected to the light source, and a combined printed image comprising two or more images printed in a single layer on the fabric body. The light source is for producing different light colors. The controller is configured to control the light source to provide a smooth transition between the different light colors. The images are different colors. Each of the different color images reacts with a respective color of the different light colors such that an appearance of the combined printed image changes gradually from a first display image having one particular shape into a second display image having a second particular shape in response to the different light colors interacting with the combined printed image to produce a moving, seemingly holographic effect.

Abstract: The badge-holding device is a wallet for displaying a police, fire, or EMT badge. The badge display device comprises a badge retainer and channel for the pin of the badge on one side and a plurality of card pockets on the other side. The pockets may be used to store identification cards, credit cards, debit cards, and similar cards. A black band may be stretched across the front of the displayed badge and fastened in place when mourning band protocol is in effect. A clip on the pocket side of the badge-holding device allows the device to be worn on a belt or pocket or allows the device to act as a money clip. Loops located at the top of the device allow the device to be worn on a chain around the user's neck.

Abstract: Disclosed is a tamper proof tag and accompanying method for verifying that a watch is authentic and has not been tampered with. The tamper proof tag, when affixed to the watch, ensures that the watch is authentic and prevents a user from tampering with the watch. The tamper proof tag also allows the watch to be worn while the tamper proof tag is affixed to watch and is minimally obstructive to the aesthetics of the watch. This provides a purchasing user with confidence that the watch is authentic, while also allowing the user to try on the watch without having to remove the tamper proof tag. The tamper proof tag also protects the seller from a user that may attempt to tamper with the watch after purchase. For example, the seller may condition returns for a sold watch on the tamper proof tag remaining affixed to the watch.
