Abstract: Protective glasses include a curved lens panel for protecting the eyes. Two side pieces have an inner end articulated on a helmet and an outer end articulated on the lens panel. The glasses are pivotable from a protective position to a stowed position. Each side piece includes a glasses arm and a glasses-carrying arm. The glasses arms are curved in the direction of the lens panel and adjoin the lens panel tangentially. The glasses arms have axes of articulation that are not aligned with one another. In the stowed position, the protective glasses are in a helmet and can be moved into, and out of, the stowed position using one hand, without length of the side pieces or tilt of the lens panel in relation to the side pieces being changed. One-handed actuation of the glasses is very advantageous in forestry work, in the industrial sector or for climbing purposes.

Abstract: A chamber for receiving a pressurized fluid may include a tensile member extending between a first chamber barrier layer and a second chamber barrier layer and including a plurality of tethers extending between the first tensile member layer and the second tensile member layer. The chamber may include stitching through the tensile member in a stitched region. When the chamber is pressurized with the pressurized fluid, a substantial majority of the first tensile member layer is separated from the second tensile member layer by a distance that corresponds to a length of the plurality of tethers. In addition, the first tensile member layer is held in contact with the second tensile member layer by the stitching in the stitched region, thereby forming an area of the chamber having a reduced thickness relative to adjacent portions of the chamber.

Abstract: A skin care mask glove is disclosed. The skin care mask glove comprises a glove portion. The glove portion includes an opening section, a hand section, a thumb section and a set of finger sections. The opening section includes an opening configured for receiving a hand and a tightening strap for tightening the opening section after a hand is inserted. The thumb section includes a first perforated line and a removable thumb end-portion. Each of the finger sections includes a second perforated line and a removable finger end-portion. The removable finger end-portions are connected via connector fabric. The glove portion is constructed having, among other things, a first outer layer, a first inner layer and a layer of a first skin care product.

Abstract: A shoe comprises a sole and an upper. The sole comprises a lower sole member and an upper sole member. The lower sole member includes a plurality of sipes and a longitudinal cavity. The longitudinal cavity is at least in a sole midfoot region and extends downwardly from a top surface of the lower sole member. The plurality of sipes extend upwardly from the bottom surface of the lower sole member and intersect the longitudinal cavity such that the plurality of sipes and the longitudinal cavity combine to define a plurality of through openings. The upper sole member is within the cavity and covers the plurality of through openings.

Abstract: A ventilation apparatus including at least one flexible energy storage device (FESD), a switching unit, a pump, and a fluid diffuser is provided. The FESD flexibly conforms to varying contours of footwear. The FESD positioned at one or more locations of the footwear supplies electrical energy to the pump via the switching unit. The switching unit in communication with the FESD and the pump selectively changes modes of operation of the pump. The pump attached to the footwear pumps fluid into and exhausts fluid from a cavity of the footwear. A feed pipe of the fluid diffuser connected to the pump, within the cavity of the footwear, transfers the fluid pumped from the pump to the cavity of the footwear during a pump mode and transfers the fluid in the cavity of the footwear to an ambient environment external to the footwear during an exhaust mode for ventilating the footwear.

Abstract: A ventilation apparatus including a pump, a switching unit, and a fluid diffuser is provided. The pump attached to the footwear pumps fluid into and exhausts fluid from a cavity of the footwear. The switching unit in communication with the pump selectively changes modes of operation of the pump. The fluid diffuser connected to the pump within the cavity of the footwear includes a feed pipe for transferring the fluid pumped from the pump to the cavity of the footwear during a pump mode of operation and to transfer the fluid in the cavity of the footwear to an ambient environment external to the footwear during an exhaust mode of operation, for ventilating the footwear. In one or more embodiments, the fluid diffuser includes a diffusing member with one or more openings and/or a fluid distribution channel member for transferring the fluid to and from the cavity of the footwear.

Abstract: A safety helmet with retractable brim comprising a helmet shaped body having a slot presented on a downward facing surface of a front section. The safety helmet includes a brim that translates within the slot between a retracted and a downward configuration. In the retracted configuration the brim is received within the slot. In the downward configuration the second end of the brim does not extend beyond the forward facing surface of the helmet. A pivoting element is configured to pivotally couple the brim proximate to the lip of the slot. The pivoting element allows the brim to move between the downward configuration and a forward configuration. In the forward configuration the brim extends outward beyond a forward facing surface of the helmet shaped body. A first locking element is configured to maintain the brim in the forward configuration.

Abstract: A knitted component formed of unitary knit construction includes a ridge structure and a channel structure. The ridge structure is biased to curl about a first axis in a first direction toward a compacted position. The channel structure is biased to curl about a second axis in a second direction toward a compacted position. The first direction is opposite the second direction. Courses of the ridge structure extend in the same direction as the first axis. Courses of the channel structure extend in the same direction as the second axis.

Abstract: A heatable football glove that provides heat to a wearer's hand. The glove includes a body member that includes a pocket therein to accommodate a heating element of substantially the same size as the pocket such that the heating element after activation is introduced through an opening into the pocket where it is snugly received therein and conforms to the pocket in order to be retained therein substantially without movement during use of the glove. A covering member that is selectively movable between open and closed positions is provided for closing the opening and retaining the heating element in the pocket during use of the glove. An attachment member is associated with the covering member for releasably attaching or adhering the covering member to the glove to retain the heating element in the pocket during use.

Abstract: A lace routing pattern for a lacing system for an article of footwear is described. The lacing system is moved between opened and closed positions by applying tension to segments of a lace connected to a tensioning assembly of a tensioning system. Each of the lace segments are arranged to extend between opposite sides of a lacing area according to a different lace routing pattern. The lace routing patterns have equal total closure distances for each of the lace segments so that tension applied by the tensioning system will be uniformly distributed through the lacing system and the article of footwear.

Abstract: A pocket may be attached to a front surface of a hunting vest. The pocket may have a pocket flap that, when released by a zipper, rotates about a lower edge of the pocket flap attached to the front surface of the hunting vest. The pocket flap may rotate between a substantially vertical position when the pocket is closed and a substantially horizontal position when the pocket is open. When the pocket is open and the pocket flap is in the horizontal position, one or more game calls stored in a corresponding one or more game call pouches may be accessed by the hunter with a single hand. Each game call pouch may have a first aperture for inserting and removing the game call and a second different aperture allowing the hunter to pull a striker against the game call to produce a desired sound. A sound passing aperture, opposite the game call pouch, may allow sound from the game call to exit the pocket.

The bicycle cleat cover device is configured to be releasably secured to a bicycle cleat, wherein the bicycle cleat has an aperture sized and configured to receive a clipless pedal. Abstract: The glove with track and rail for securing a smart phone thereto includes a fingerless glove that has a track integrated onto an outer surface. The track enables a rail member to attach thereon, and slide along the track. The rail member includes a fastening member that is adapted to secure an object thereon such that the object is able to slide along the track while said fingerless glove is being worn. The object is ideally a smart phone. The track extends linearly across the palm and portions of a back of hand of the fingerless glove such that the object is adapted to be positioned at any locale along the track.

Abstract: A spacer knit fabric if formed with a first two-dimensional knit fabric layer and a second two-dimensional knit fabric layer. The first and the second two-dimensional knit fabric layers are interconnected via knitted spacer threads. The first two-dimensional knit fabric layer has openings formed by a plurality of stitches in each case. Threads of a first thread system, which forms the first two-dimensional knit fabric layer, are connected to each other solely by mutual intertwining. Channels are formed between the first and the second two-dimensional knit fabric layers that are free from spacer threads. The threads of a second thread system, which forms the second two-dimensional knit fabric layer, are connected to one another by intertwining and by at least partial fusion.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a multi-needle bar module for sewing machines. Such a multi-needle bar module may be additionally mounted on the existing sewing machines, so that the existing sewing machines may be easily retrofitted into multi-needle bar sewing machines. The multi-needle bar module is not limited to a two-needle bar structure, and may be assembled with three, four or more needle bars according to actual requirements, solving the problem that both the single-needle bar sewing machines and the two-needle-bar sewing machines require manual change of threads in the process of sewing a pattern due to insufficient color varieties of the upper threads. The multi-needle-bar module guides each needle bar via the first horizontal guideway and the second horizontal guideway, and feeds a specific needle bar into the neck of the needle bar driving block via the driving mechanism. Such a multi-needle bar module has the advantages of simple structure and automatic control.

Abstract: An article of footwear including a textile upper and a split sole, the split sole having a forefoot portion and a heel portion separated by a gap under the instep portion of the article of footwear. An x-shaped bridge arches over the wearer's foot and connects the forefoot portion of the split sole to the heel portion of the split sole. The article of footwear is fabricated using injection molding to impregnate the fabric at the bottom of the textile upper and to form the split sole.

Abstract: When sleeping or resting in non-supine positions, reaction forces are distributed over areas of the face and head in contact with a surface, such as a mattress or arm, following a load path through at least one eye. Aspects of the disclosed system and method provide rigid to semi-rigid load bearing facial support configured to absorb and or distribute the reaction force exerted by a surface during non-supine rest or sleep to areas of padding best suited to absorb and or distribute said force such that the load path bypasses the eye, eye orbit, and or its surrounding anatomy to prevent or mitigate deformation, stress, strain, and or damage to the eye.
