Abstract: The invention relates to a sole, midsole, insole or sole insert for an article of footwear, such as a shoe or a boot, sandal, trainer or wellington boot. The sole, midsole, insole or sole insert 10 comprises a matrix structure 12 defining passageways 26, 30 extending between the upper and lower surfaces of the sole, midsole, insole or sole insert. The sole, midsole, insole or sole insert further comprises one or a plurality of sheet members 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 substantially within the matrix structure and forming a continuous molding therewith, the or each sheet member being convex so that the apex of the or each sheet member approaches and faces the upper surface of the sole, midsole, insole or sole insert. The or each sheet member 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 is made from an elastomeric material so that each sheet member acts as a leaf spring.

Abstract: A hat having attached hair including a baseball cap style hat with a dome-shaped crown having a front, a rear, and a lower opening for the head of the wearer. The hat further including a bill extending outwardly from the front of the crown. The rear of the crown having a semicircular shaped opening, generally adjacent to the lower edge of the crown. The hat also including a rectangular netting attached generally adjacent to the rear opening of the crown and a plurality of strands of hair wefted onto the netting in a plurality of parallel tracks, with the hair extending downwardly from the netting and outwardly through the semicircular shaped opening in the crown of the hat. Furthermore, the hat including indicia imprinted on the bill and the crown of the hat and optionally LED lights incorporated into the hair.

Abstract: A ventilation apparatus including a pump, a switching unit, and a fluid diffuser is provided. The pump attached to the footwear pumps fluid into and exhausts fluid from a cavity of the footwear. The switching unit in communication with the pump selectively changes modes of operation of the pump. The fluid diffuser connected to the pump within the cavity of the footwear includes a feed pipe for transferring the fluid pumped from the pump to the cavity of the footwear during a pump mode of operation and to transfer the fluid in the cavity of the footwear to an ambient environment external to the footwear during an exhaust mode of operation, for ventilating the footwear. In one or more embodiments, the fluid diffuser includes a diffusing member with one or more openings and/or a fluid distribution channel member for transferring the fluid to and from the cavity of the footwear.

Abstract: A shoe comprises a sole and an upper. The sole comprises a lower sole member and an upper sole member. The lower sole member includes a plurality of sipes and a longitudinal cavity. The longitudinal cavity is at least in a sole midfoot region and extends downwardly from a top surface of the lower sole member. The plurality of sipes extend upwardly from the bottom surface of the lower sole member and intersect the longitudinal cavity such that the plurality of sipes and the longitudinal cavity combine to define a plurality of through openings. The upper sole member is within the cavity and covers the plurality of through openings.

Abstract: An article of footwear incorporates a seamless bootie or textile upper formed from a knitted component removed from a knitted textile element of unitary warp knit construction. The knitted component may include a first knitted component portion in the form of a seamless bootie and a second knitted component portion associated with the first knitted component portion. In some embodiments the second knitted component portion may be tucked-in or folded into a pocket of first knitted component portion, such as a knitted dynamic fit component portion or a knitted tongue component portion. In some embodiments the second kitted component portion may be wrapped around at least part of the first knitted component portion.
