  • Patent number: 11809998
Abstract: Techniques are provided for processing one or more frames. For example, a region of interest can be determined in a first frame of a sequence of frames. The region of interest in the first frame includes an object having a size in the first frame. A portion of a second frame of the sequence of frames (occurring after the first frame in the sequence of frames) can be cropped and scaled to cause the object in the second frame to have a same size (and in some cases a same location) as the object in the first frame.

  • Patent number: 11810929
Abstract: An innovative image acquisition device is disclosed, providing an effective solution for maximizing information density, while reducing color artifacts. The device of the invention relies on selective wavelength absorption, in certain substances. The novel solution utilizes two photosite arrays, or sensors, separated by an absorption layer, of predetermined thickness. Thus, an incident light beam strikes the two sensors in different proportions, exposing one array to the unaltered incident light, while the light striking the other array is partially absorbed. Light intensity ratio, between corresponding photosites on the two sensors uniquely identifies the incident light wavelength, and subsequently its color.

  • Patent number: 11805314
Abstract: Imaging-related information such as information regarding the position or orientation of a camera is output in an appropriate manner. A control device according to the present technology includes: a determination unit that determines a usage mode of an imaging device; and a control unit that performs output control of imaging-related information related to the imaging device on the basis of the usage mode determined by the determination unit. Performing the output control of the imaging-related information on the basis of the usage mode of the imaging device makes it possible to perform control so as not to output unnecessary information according to the usage mode of the camera. For example, in a case of a fixed camera that does not move, the imaging-related information as position information of the camera is not output, and in a case of a handy camera that is assumed to move, the imaging-related information as the position information of the camera is output.

  • Patent number: 11788673
Abstract: Oftentimes a site owner requires onsite capture devices (e.g., still or video cameras, microphones) for reasons of security, increasing revenue (e.g., streaming content to subscribed users), or otherwise. In the current state of the art various capture devices come from a variety of vendors and are often only adapted to work with software from the same manufacturer. It can be frustrating for a site owner to attempt to cobble together a capture and distribution system from individual parts and devices. Discussed herein is an approach to producing a capture and distribution system customized to an owner's particular needs and a site's particular characteristics in which capture devices are at least partially factory wired, aimed, and commissioned so to reduce both time on site to install of said capture devices and potential errors in the installation, and in a manner that in at least some cases adds value for the owner.

  • Patent number: 11792518
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for processing image. The method includes: determining a first translation amount based on a first voice coil motor (VCM) value of a first image photographed by a wide-angle camera, the VCM value is a normalized value corresponding to a magnitude of a current acting on a coil of a VCM in response to successful focusing of the camera; determining a second translation amount based on a zoom multiple of the first image and the first translation amount; and obtaining a target image by translating the first image by the second translation amount and amplifying the first image. According to the present disclosure, smooth switching of zooming can be achieved, and obvious geometric jump of images in continuous focal lengths and between focal lengths is avoided, thereby providing a good zooming experience to the user.

  • Patent number: 11770641
Abstract: Noise is reduced in a solid-state image capturing element provided with an ADC for each column. An analog-to-digital converter increases or decreases an analog signal using an analog gain selected from among a plurality of analog gains, and converts the increased or decreased analog signal to a digital signal. An input switching section inputs, as the analog signal, one of a test signal having a predetermined level and a pixel signal to the analog-to-digital converter. In a case where a test signal is inputted, a correction value calculation section obtains, from the analog signal and the digital signal, a correction value for correcting an error in the selected analog gain, and outputs the correction value. A correction section, when inputted with the pixel signal after the correction value is outputted, corrects the digital signal using the correction value.
