  • Patent number: 10318635
Abstract: Mapping of semantics in healthcare may involve accessing first transaction data of a first healthcare entity in a first database, the first transaction data corresponding to a collection of a first number of fields defined for a condition using a first semantic system to store information and calculating a first distribution of information in the first transaction data. Mapping may also involve accessing second transaction data of a second healthcare entity in a second database, the second transaction data corresponding to a second semantic system different than the first semantic system and the second database comprising a second number of fields using the second semantic system to store information, the second number of fields larger than the first number of fields and calculating a second distribution of information in the second transaction data. The distributions may then be compared and a map relating the semantic systems may be generated.

  • Patent number: 10318899
Abstract: A system for managing remote doctor medical request workflow may include a workflow module that optimizes assignments of medical requests to remote doctors based on parameterized doctor and scheduling information and may further include a forecasting module that predicts the hospital credentials, state licenses or doctors needed to fulfill a projected volume of future medical requests. In one embodiment, radiologists are parameterized and then matched with requests for radiological readings based on information extracted from DICOM image headers and merged with associated information contained in a medical work order. In this embodiment, the radiologists are parameterized based on their locations, schedules, hospital credentials, state licensing, compensation metrics, and performance metrics and incoming requests for review of CT scans and the like are filtered based on the parameterized radiologist information to identify one or more radiologists who are to fulfill the medical request.

  • Patent number: 10282512
Abstract: The present invention involves a system and method of providing decision support for assisting medical treatment decision-making. A patient agent software module processes information about a particular patient. A doctor agent software module processes information about a health status of a particular patient, beliefs relating to patient treatments, and the actual effects of treatment decisions. By filtering information over time from the patient agent into the doctor agent, a plurality of decision-outcome nodes are created and formed into a patient-specific outcome tree with the plurality of decision-outcome nodes. An optimal treatment is determined by evaluating the plurality of decision-outcome nodes with a cost per unit change function to output the optimal treatment.
