Abstract: Provided is a polyamide resin composition capable of yielding highly abrasion-resistant molded article, while keeping high mechanical strength, and, a molded article using the polyamide resin composition. The polyamide resin composition contains (A) polyamide resin, (B) polyolefin wax, and (C) at least one metal salt selected from alkali metal salt and alkali earth metal salt, and the (A) polyamide resin contains (a-1) semiaromatic polyamide resin.
Abstract: A poly(oxyalkylene) polymer having a weight average molecular weight of at least 50,000 grams per mole and a metal salt of a carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid, or alkylsulfate, in combination are useful as a polymer processing additive. In some embodiments, the polymer processing additive further includes a poly(oxyalkylene) polymer having a weight average molecular weight of up to 20,000 grams per mole Polymer processing additive compositions and thermoplastic, for example, polyolefin, compositions including a poly(oxyalkylene) polymer and a metal salt of a carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid, or alkylsulfate are disclosed. Methods of reducing melt defects during the extrusion of a thermoplastic polymer, which may be a homogeneously catalyzed polyolefin, are also disclosed.

The block copolymer includes at least one first block A and at least one second block B, the first block A containing a monomeric unit M1 and the second block B containing a monomeric unit M2. A proportion of monomeric units M2, if any, in the first block A is less than 25 mol %, in particular less than or equal to 10 mol %, relative to all the monomeric units M1 in the first block A, and a proportion of monomeric units M1, if any, in the second block B is less than 25 mol %, in particular less than or equal to 10 mol %, relative to all the monomeric units M2 in the second block B.

The long-acting super-hydrophobic coating includes a conductive substrate and the following raw materials in parts by weight: 1 part to 10 parts of titanium source or zinc source, 40 parts to 100 parts of deionized water, 20 parts to 50 parts of hydrochloric acid or 20 parts to 40 parts of sodium hydroxide, 1 part to 10 parts of electrolyte, 1 part to 10 parts of low surface energy modifier, 10 parts to 20 parts of high molecular polymer, 1 part to 5 parts of carbon nanotube and 70 parts to 100 parts of organic solvent. The long-acting super-hydrophobic coating has an organic-inorganic nano-interpenetrating network structure, which improves the stability of the multi-stage nano-micro structure, so that the super-hydrophobic coating surface has a good high-pressure water impact resistance and high-pressure static water resistance.
Abstract: Copolymers that comprise salicylic acid derivative structural units and structural units having free polyether side chains. The copolymers are suitable to plasticize inorganic binder systems, construction chemical compositions comprising the copolymers and the use of the copolymers as a plasticizer for inorganic binder systems. Binder systems with a reduced amount of Portland cement comprising at least one copolymer of the invention provide a better liquefaction and processability as compared to the binder systems without a copolymer of the invention.
