Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for implementing a functional documentation module are disclosed. A repository stores a list of URLs corresponding to one or more applications and a list independently executable programming languages for running an application. A receiver receives a request for creating a new URL. A processor causes a GUI to display selectable URLs from the list of URLs, selectable components from the list of independently executable programing languages, and a functional documentation; creates the new URL by selecting one or more desired URLs from the selectable URLs based on analyzing the functional documentation; independently tests only the created new URL for running the application without testing the selectable URLs and their underlying components; and updates the repository with the new URL based on a positive test result.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying and correcting webpage zone target misidentification are provided. The method includes clustering a plurality of webpage nodes based on at least zoning information derived from a webpage to identify at least two similar webpage node clusters, wherein the clustered webpage nodes are included in the zoning information, and wherein at least two webpage node clusters indicates at least a zone target misidentification; generating at least a zone identification issue fix suggestion for each identified zone target misidentification, wherein a zone identification issue fix suggestion is a suggestion providing a correction for a respective zone target misidentification; and applying each of the generated zone target misidentifications on a respective zone target misidentification.

Abstract: The method and system disclosed herein present a cooking tutorial program that provides intelligent assistance to users during meal preparation, the method and system comprise: receiving a user selection of a recipe; playing a first content item corresponding to a first preparation step of the selected recipe in a first media format; monitoring user's actions performing the first preparation step of the selected recipe; and if the user's actions performing the first preparation step meet first criteria, adjusting the playing of the first content item, including displaying the first content item in a second media format, wherein the second media format differ from the first media format in at least a size and resolution of a portion of the first content item.

Abstract: Customized highlight shows for sporting events, entertainment events, and/or the like, may be generated and presented. Source content with a representation of one or more events, such as sports events, may be obtained. A user may designate an attribute and/or a viewing length. A subset of the source content with highlights from within the source content may be selected such that the subset has the attribute and/or viewing length designated by the user. A customized highlight show including the subset may be generated and outputted to the user, for example, on a display screen. The attribute may include a team playing in the sporting events, a player playing in the sporting events, and/or a type of play occurring in the sporting events. The subset may optionally be generated based on teams and/or players in one or more fantasy sports teams.

Abstract: Content management includes receiving an image of one or more display devices with respective first content displayed. For at least one display device, a display device identification (ID) is retrieved. A change to the first content displayed at the at least one display device is caused, based on the display device ID of the at least one display device, upon interaction with the image.

Abstract: A control code collaboration system automatically generates control code for an industrial project based on text discovered within the design documents. The system allows a designer to highlight text within a text-based design document representing an interlock definition, step sequence definition, tag name, or other aspects of the design description. The system then allows the user to link annotations to the highlighted text, the annotations representing interlock programming, sequence programming, or controller tag names. The system then searches the document for similarly formatted text, which are assumed to represent descriptions of similar control aspects, and infers suitable control programming from these discovered pieces of text using the previously provided annotations as a guide. In this way, the system uses text pattern recognition generates suggestions as to how to program portions of the design description based on control logic examples provided by the user.

The output unit outputs a sound to the user. The reception unit receives a command to correct the sound in a case where the sound is output while the brain waves are being measured.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for previewing new events in a computing device having a plurality of applications for managing respective events are described. Individual applications are each represented by an application icon on a screen of a graphical user interface for the device. In response to a new event of a one of the applications, the application's icon is visually modified to notify of the new event. A visual modification may be determined in response to the new event, for example, to preview a content of the event. The visual modification may include a count of all new events that remain to be disposed. On a selection of the visually modified icon, additional previewing may be provided. Activation of the application having a visually modified application icon may be configured to automatically initiate the application at the new event.

Abstract: A display displays an equipment management screen in which icons indicating equipment devices and having a first display size are superimposed on a floor configuration diagram of a building at positions corresponding to installation sites of the equipment devices. A display information generator, upon detection of an operation of specifying display of a group to which the equipment device corresponding to the operated icon belongs, identifies all equipment devices belonging to the specified group, changes display sizes of icons corresponding to the identified equipment devices to a second display size larger than the first display size, displays operation buttons for implementing settings of the identified equipment devices at prescribed positions on the equipment management screen in a superimposed manner, and changes display sizes of icons corresponding to equipment devices not belonging to the specified group to a third display size smaller than the first display size.

Abstract: The presence of new unread electronic messages received, that is, messages received since unread messages were last reviewed, is provided by indicia presented to the user. These indicia can take various forms, such as by bolding, flashing, changing the size or color of a count of unread messages, and/or the unread message icon. Alternatively, a separate indication, such as a second count representing the number of new unread electronic messages received, or some other symbol, such as an explanation point, can be displayed.

Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device may generate a day view, month views, and year view that show cards specific to each view. The cards include images, videos, and/or other assets from a media library that reflect a corresponding time frame of the card on which the assets are displayed. A selected view is presented in a graphical user interface (GUI) for interaction with a user of the media library. Upon selection of an asset displayed to the GUI, the view is switched to show more assets from a time frame similar to the selected asset while maintaining a focus on the selected asset.

Abstract: A method for modifying visual aspects of a keyboard in response to a user typing on the keyboard. The method includes one or more computer processors receiving a first character input to an input device. The method further includes determining a plurality of words that begin with the first received character. The method further includes ranking the determined plurality of words. The method further includes selecting a word from among the ranked plurality of words based on a first set of criteria. The method further includes determining a sequence of one or more characters after the received first character that correspond to the selected word. The method further includes modifying one or more respective characteristics of input elements of the input device that correspond to the sequence of characters of the selected word.

Abstract: A method for arranging components in a two-dimensional area includes a component preparation module for providing a set of components for arrangement, determining rectangular covers for each component, and ordering components according to a predefined order preference, and a core layout module for mapping components in order to positions in the arrangement with a first width and in a first direction, including: a row module for positioning components in order in a first full row across the first direction of the first width aligning one of the top or bottom sides of the covers of adjacent components until the next component does not fit in the first width, and a sub-row module for positioning components in any available space within the height of the first full row to form one or more sub-rows in the first direction and extending a distance less than the first width.

Abstract: Methods and program products repositioning icons on a touch display based on characteristics of touch gestures performed on the touch display. The disclosed method may include detecting characteristics of a touch gesture performed on a touch display of an electronic device, and determining if the detected characteristics of the touch gesture exceed a predetermined threshold. In response to determining the detected characteristics exceed the predetermined threshold, the method may also include selecting a group of icons based on at least one of the detected characteristics of the touch gesture performed on the touch display, or predetermined electronic device data. Additionally, the method may include repositioning the selected group of icons on the touch display.

Abstract: A copying and pasting method is provided, which includes: obtaining a first to-be-recognized fingerprint; selecting, if the first to-be-recognized fingerprint is a first preset fingerprint, copied content from a to-be-processed interface based on a touch operation acting on a touchscreen; obtaining a pasting instruction; and pasting the copied content into a target area according to the pasting instruction. This application further provides a data processing apparatus and user equipment that may implement the foregoing method. According to this application, copying and pasting efficiency is improved.

Abstract: Keyboard-based search of local and/or connected digital media items may be facilitated. A digital media item search interface may be presented in the same view as a messaging interface. The digital media item search interface may receive input such as from an on-screen keyboard to facilitate editing of user-provided search queries and submission of the user-provided search queries. The digital media item search interface may present digital media item tags relating to context information based on input received by the digital media item search query field. The digital media item search interface may present visual previews of local and/or connected digital media items corresponding to digital media item tags presented in the digital media item tag field. The digital media item search interface may receive user selections of individual digital media items to be communicated to one or more other users via the messaging interface.

Abstract: Method and system are provided for compensating for user hand tremors when using a hand-held electronic device having a user interface display. The method includes monitoring position data of a user's finger in relation to the user interface display over time as the finger approaches an element in the user interface display. A target element is determined by predicting an intended movement of the user's finger and the method dynamically enlarges the determined target element in the user interface display as the user's finger approaches the user interface display.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for generating semi-automated visual analytics solutions are provided herein. A computer-implemented method includes automatically transforming a first version of specifications for visualization of a data analysis task being performed by a user into one or more subsequent versions of the specifications, wherein the transforming is based on data analysis visualization design guidelines; outputting at least one of the subsequent versions of the specifications to the user; processing user inputs, in response to the at least one outputted subsequent version of the specifications; automatically transforming the at least one outputted subsequent version of the specifications into one or more additional versions of the specifications based on the processing of the user inputs; and iteratively outputting the additional versions of the specifications until an indication of user satisfaction is obtained.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products to perform an operation comprising identifying at least one rule for a home screen of a mobile device, wherein the at least one rule is determined based on a current location of a mobile device, identifying a modification for a first object displayed on the home screen of the mobile device, wherein the modification is associated with the at least one rule and the current location of the mobile device, applying the modification to the first object, and outputting the home screen on the mobile device, wherein the outputted home screen includes the modified first object.
