Abstract: An unallocated item/product inventory is maintained in each of a plurality of delivery vehicles traversing service routes within a delivery service area. Upon receipt of an order for delivery of an item/product that may be selected from the item/product inventory maintained within a delivery vehicle and that is to be delivered to a destination location within the delivery service area, a delivery vehicle driver is instructed to deliver an item/product selected from the item/product inventory located on the delivery vehicle during the corresponding service route on the same day that the order was placed. A delivery label for the item/product is printed, and the delivery vehicle driver secures the printed delivery label to an item/product selected from the unallocated item/product inventory, and delivers the item/product to the destination location on the same day the order was placed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for re-issuing a travel reservation based on a travel category associated with the specific travel reservation. The travel reservation is associated with one of a first travel category and a second travel category. The first travel category includes a plurality of machine-readable codes associated with the travel reservation. In response to determining the travel reservation is associated with the first travel category, the travel reservation is re-issued by a computer-based on the plurality of machine-readable codes associated with the travel reservation. In response to determining that the travel reservation is associated with the second travel category, the computer determines if the travel reservation includes data expressed in machine-readable form. If the travel reservation includes the data expressed in machine-readable form, the computer generates a plurality of prepopulated fields in a format compatible with the first travel category.

Abstract: Rental property management technology, in which electronic entry data for rental properties, energy related data for the rental properties, reservation data for the rental properties, and settings for energy management of the rental properties is accessed. Integrated data that includes the accessed electronic entry data, the accessed energy related data, and the accessed reservation data integrated with the accessed settings for energy management of the rental properties is stored in electronic storage. The integrated data is analyzed to determine whether energy management of the rental properties aligns with the accessed settings and accords with one or more efficiency rules. Based on the analysis, an energy management operation is performed for at least one of the rental properties.

A processing module of a server device may access a first data packet associated with a first account and a second data packet associated with a second account. A status module of the server device may determines from the first data packet a first status of the first account attempting to secure an event ticket. The status module may further determine from the second data packet a second status of the second account attempting to secure the event ticket. A device module of the server device may determine from the first data packet an identification of a client device accessing the first account. A communication module of the server device may transmit the second status of the second account to the client device.

Abstract: A method for ultrasound diagnosis includes determining a first risk of malignancy based on a human assessment of a first set of features of one or more ultrasound images of a target; determining a second risk of malignancy based on an automatically extracted second set of features of the one or more ultrasound images; determining at least one overall risk value based on the first risk of malignancy and the second risk of malignancy; and characterizing the at least one overall risk value as one of a high confidence assessment or a low confidence assessment.

Abstract: A method for providing a computer-implemented medical diagnosis includes receiving an input from a user comprising at least one symptom of the user. The method also includes providing the at least one symptom as an input to a medical model, the medical model being retrieved from memory. The medical model includes a probabilistic graphical model comprising probability distributions and relationships between symptoms and diseases. The method also includes performing inference on the probabilistic graphical model to obtain a prediction of the probability that the user has that disease. The method also includes outputting an indication that the user has a disease from the Bayesian inference, wherein the inference is performed using a counterfactual measure.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the present invention, a sensor for diagnosing a physiological or physical state includes a measurement system configured to determine clinical data for one or more parameters related to the physiological or physical state, a first memory configured to store the clinical data, a transmitter configured to transmit the clinical data according to a first communications protocol, a receiver configured to receive enhanced data according to a second communications protocol, and a second memory configured to store the enhanced data. The enhanced data is based on the clinical data.

Abstract: A method is provided for booking a hotel room that improves the satisfaction level for a consumer and increases revenue for the hotelier. Consumers may benefit from being able to select property-specific and room-specific attributes for which they perceive enhanced value, while property-specific and room-specific attributes that a consumer does not particularly value may be avoided in an effort for the consumer to spend on features they desire. Further, hoteliers may benefit from being able to offer room-specific attributes and add-on features that create additional revenue streams for the hotel. Additionally, the transparency afforded the consumer of the room-specific attributes available versus those selected provides the consumer with a level of expectation that is more aligned with the hotel and the specific room they selected, thereby improving customer satisfaction.

Abstract: A computing platform configured to receive and process an on-demand real-time patient-specific data analysis order is provided. The computing platform can receive an order, determine the viability of the order, and then perform the desired analysis based on parameters provided within the order. As part of the analysis, the computing platform can mine one or more data sources to collect data relevant to the ordered diagnostic. Once the data is collected, the computing platform can analyze the data according to one or more pre-programmed algorithms. The selection of which algorithms to apply to the data set can be determined by the type of on-demand real-time patient-specific data analysis ordered. The on-demand real-time patient-specific data analysis in some examples can be ordered using an external ordering user interface.

The method begins by forming at least a part of the container with the packaging material. Next, the method activates a node integrated as part of the packaging material. The node is operative to communicate with one or more network devices (such as an ID node, master node and/or server) in a wireless node network. The method then registers shipping information with a server in the wireless node network via a user access device operated by a shipping customer. The shipping information is related to the container and the node integrated as part of the packaging material of the container. The item to be shipped may be sealed within the container.

Abstract: Methods, devices and a system for disease management are provided that employ diagnostic testing devices (e.g., blood glucose meters) and medication delivery devices (e.g., insulin delivery devices) for providing data to a repository in real-time and automatically. Repository data can be analyzed to determine such information as actual test strip use, patient health parameters to outside prescribed ranges, testing and medication delivery compliance, patient profiles or stakeholders to receive promotional items or incentives, and so on. Connected meters and medication delivery devices and repository data analysis are also employed to associate a diagnostic test to a mealtime based on timing of a therapeutic intervention performed by an individual.
