  • Patent number: 10679739
Abstract: An interrogation data management system operates to manage implantable cardiac device interrogation data and reports. In one example the system generates a report including a reading physician note, a summary report, and an implantable cardiac device manufacturer's report. Some embodiments include smart routing, to automatically route interrogation data reports to medical professionals based on predetermined rules. The interrogation data management system interacts with the reading physician to formally review the interrogation data reports and to generate a reading physician note. The reading physician note includes the reading physician's findings/interpretations and conclusions. Other aspects are also described in this disclosure.

  • Patent number: 10672514
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for bioinformatics and data processing. In particular, in a first aspect, the present disclosure relates to methods and systems for generating a personalized treatment guideline for a patient and for selecting a treatment for a patient. In another aspect, the present disclosure relates to methods and systems for selecting patients for a clinical trial of a treatment. The invention resolves cases in which patients have more than one “actionable” aberration by combining the patient-specific molecular information and the treatment-specific molecular information further with a clinico-molecular disease model, specifically a scoring of genes and/or proteins that represents several aspects of their involvement into the disease. In this way, treatments and patients can be prioritized that are most likely to impact or impacted by the disease mechanism, respectively.

  • Patent number: 10665336
Abstract: The transfer of prescription medication pricing requests from a patient is automated through the use of a clearinghouse function that interacts with the client. The patient may transmit from a downloaded mobile application or from a web browser on a mobile device a request for pricing information for one or more drugs or medications. The request will contain an authentication key or the names of drugs or medications and a physical location for the mobile device used by the patient. A drug pricing server then returns the pricing for both name brand and generic forms of all drugs or medications in the request and a location of a pharmacy or fulfillment center within a pre-set distance from the mobile device used by the patient.

  • Patent number: 10558784
Abstract: A plurality of time and motion data sets are correlated at a network connected device. The time and motion data sets track an item of interest, and at least one of the time and motion data sets comprises energy consumption data or wireless local area network location data. Physical presence for the item of interest is determined based upon the correlating of the multiple time and motion data sets. Based upon the physical presence of the item of interest, an unacceptable condition for the item of interest may be determined. The unacceptable condition for the item of interest is remedied.

  • Patent number: 10546658
Abstract: Systems and methods for formulating a personalized skincare product for a user. Data inputs reflecting dermal information of the user (e.g., hydration level measurements, oil level measurements, and a photograph of the user's skin reflecting a set of skin concerns) are collected by a computing device and used to determine a set of normalized scores. A skin health data set is generated based on the normalized scores and stored in memory. A skin health metric is determined based on the skin health data set and is stored in memory. The computing device determines, using a machine learning framework, one or more first skincare product formulations based on the user skin health data set. The formulation(s) can be used to manufacture one or more customized skincare products for the user and can be iteratively refined over time, e.g., by collecting additional data from the user over time.

  • Patent number: 10535423
Abstract: A computer module for managing medical information is described. Aspects of the invention provide a “binding” or association process for mapping information from a patient, including at the bedside, to medical devices and/or locations containing medical devices. This may advantageously allow combining all patient-bound device data in a single repository and effectively enable viewing of all patient data in one location. Accordingly, numerous discrete device data with respect to a single patient may be captured, including from among differing medical device types, and conveniently stored together as part of an intelligent data warehouse for efficient retrieval, updating, processing, including with respect to data analytics, display and/or other advantageous features. A medical device communication system is also described.

  • Patent number: 10528702
Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for communicating with a patient. The mechanisms generate a patient registry comprising a plurality of patient registry records, each patient registry record being associated with a corresponding patient and comprising personal and medical information about the corresponding patient. The mechanisms collect, for each patient registry record, first data regarding treatment of the corresponding patient and second data regarding communications made with the corresponding patient. The mechanisms determine, based on analysis of the first data and second data associated with each of the patient registry records, a mode of communication that is most likely to result in a successful treatment of patients. The mechanisms initiate a communication with a patient of interest using the determined mode of communication based on the results of the determination.

  • Patent number: 10489552
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining and communicating patient incentive information to a prescriber. The patient incentive information may adjust the patient copay amount for a prescribed medication. The patient incentive information may be determined by evaluating pharmacy identification information and medication identifiers in a received prescription benefit check transaction and/or adjudicated response to a healthcare transaction to determine if an incentive is available to be applied to the current transaction. The incentive amount may be retrieved and the patient copay amount in the adjudicated response may be amended prior to transmitting the adjudicated response to the prescriber of the medication.

  • Patent number: 10490306
Abstract: Medical information is communicated between different entities. Personalized models of peoples' understanding of a medical field are created. Role information is used to create the personalized model. More information than mere role may be used for at least one of the personalized models, such as information on past medical history. The personalized models link to various subsets of base medical ontologies for one or more medical subjects. The concepts and relationships in these ontologies formed by the linking may be matched, providing a translation from one personalized model to another. The terminology with similar or the same concepts and/or relationships is output for a given user based on their model.

  • Patent number: 10354328
Abstract: A method and computerized system is disclosed for managing the underwriting, quoting and binding an insurance policy with regard to the technology used to militate against the financial consequences of property losses. The invention utilizes a classifier for categorizing and weighing risk, composed of data representing in an identified building, a first unmitigated insurance risk and a second insurance risk, based upon the use of certain technology. A plurality of such weights are summed such that the weights generate a minimized risk for a building structure under consideration. combinations of technologies, employed in existing building structures to a classification, which then permits an underwriter to establish a premium. In another aspect of the invention data structures representing the quantification of risk reduction attendant a given technology or product are chained into a plurality of decision trees that process a construction phase and a pruning phase.

  • Patent number: 10290370
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to extracting specified data items from narrative text. In one scenario, a computer system accesses narrative textual information which includes data items that are to be identified and extracted. The computer system identifies specified data items in the narrative textual information that are to be extracted from the narrative textual information. The computer system then filters the identified data items to remove false positive identifications. The false positive filtering includes classifying the identified data items as specified data items, so that classified data items are identified as true positive items that are to be extracted from the narrative textual information. The computer system further extracts, from the narrative textual information, those filtered data items that were classified as being true positive items.
