Abstract: The vibration control system configured to control vibration of a vibration-controlled object is disclosed. The vibration control system comprises: (i) actuator units each including a piezoelectric element configured to expand and contract; (ii) a drive power source configured to supply drive voltages to the piezoelectric elements of the actuator units for causing the piezoelectric elements to expand and contract; (iii) a vibration detector configured to detect a status of vibration of the vibration-controlled object; and (iv) a vibration controller configured to control the vibration of the vibration-controlled object by controlling the voltages supplied by the drive power source to the piezoelectric elements of the actuator units based on the status of vibration detected by the vibration detector, respectively.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer-implemented tool that facilitates data analysis by use of machine learning (ML) techniques. The tool cooperates with a data intake and query system and provides a graphical user interface (GUI) that enables a user to train and apply a variety of different ML models on user-selected datasets of stored machine data. The tool can provide active guidance to the user, to help the user choose data analysis paths that are likely to produce useful results and to avoid data analysis paths that are less likely to produce useful results.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for in-situ incline cleaning an element disposed in a EUV generating chamber are disclosed. A capillary-based hydrogen radical generator is employed to form hydrogen radicals from hydrogen gas. The capillary-based hydrogen radical generator is resistively heated during operation and is oriented such that hydrogen radicals catalytically generated from the hydrogen gas are directed to a surface of the element to clean the surface.
Abstract: Described is a device for use in scanning probe microscopy and to a method for manufacturing same. The metallic device has a single body with two parts, wherein the second part has a submicrometric point that defines a nanoscale apex. Also provided is a method for manufacturing a high optical efficiency probe for scanning probe microscopy.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for modifying an existing recipe to meet a set of desired colors for a final food dish. Responsive to receiving a request to modify the existing recipe to meet the set of desired colors, at least one of the set of existing colors to be changed to meet the desired set of colors is identified. An ingredient-action-sequence triplet associated with each at least one existing color to be changed in the existing recipe is identified and, from a corpus of ingredient-action-sequence triplets associated with other existing recipes, one or more candidates that can be added to produce the at least one target color are identified. The one or more candidates that can be added are ranked based on how each candidate pairs best with other ingredients in the existing recipe. Based on a selection of a candidate, the existing recipe is modified with the selected candidate.

Abstract: A levoglucosan-based flame retardant compound, a process for forming a flame retardant polymer, and an article of manufacture comprising a material that contains a levoglucosan-based flame retardant polymer are disclosed. The levoglucosan-based flame retardant compound has phosphorus-based flame retardant functional groups. The process for forming the flame retardant polymer includes providing a phosphorus-based flame retardant molecule, providing levoglucosan, chemically reacting the phosphorus-based flame retardant molecule and the levoglucosan derivative to form a levoglucosan-based flame retardant compound, and incorporating the levoglucosan-based flame retardant compound into a polymer to form the levoglucosan-based flame retardant polymer.
