  • Patent number: 11243033
Abstract: A heat exchanger includes fins and a plurality of pairs of cut-and-raised parts. Each pair of the cut-and-raised parts are positioned on both left and right sides in a width direction on a downstream side in a heating gas flowing direction around an outer circumference surface of each of upstream pipe body parts and face a downstream part on the outer circumference surface with a first gap therebetween. A width between upstream end parts of each pair of the cut-and-raised parts is larger than an outer diameter of each of the upstream pipe body parts. In addition, each pair of the cut-and-raised parts are inclined such that a width between downstream end parts becomes smaller than the width between the upstream end parts. • Patent number: 11236950
Abstract: A method for operating a regenerative heat storage arrangement, wherein the heat storage arrangement has a gas heater for heating a carrier gas; a heat storage row with multiple heat storage modules; and at least one compressor. During a loading cycle, carrier gas heated in the gas heater flows through at least one heat reservoir module, which is thermally charged by the transfer of heat from the heated carrier gas to a heat storage material of the heat reservoir module. The carrier gas is cooled during the charging process. If, after the charging of a heat reservoir module, the carrier gas temperature reaches or exceeds a minimum charging temperature for a subsequent heat reservoir module, the carrier gas is fed to the subsequent heat reservoir module for charging. The carrier gas is recirculated back to the gas heater if the carrier gas temperature falls below the minimum charging temperature.

  • Patent number: 11162739
Abstract: An air-conditioning apparatus using a heat pipe is provided, where the state of the outside air is compared with the state of set supply air. The heat exchange and mixed supply of outside air and ventilation air are effectively performed by changing the passage of the ventilation air and the outside air through the selective opening/shutting of dampers, cooling the outside air through latent heat by spraying mist, and by controlling supply air in a set state through the cooling and humidification of the supply air. Accordingly, energy efficiency can be improved and the energy necessary for the air-conditioning apparatus can be reduced using the evaporation latent heat of water. Furthermore, operation costs can be reduced and financial gains can be obtained because an efficient operation can be performed in response to the state of a measured outside air.
