  • Patent number: 11747101
Abstract: An assembly for directing propellant gas to an action of a firearm includes a barrel and a gas block. The barrel has a plurality of gas ports that communicate with the bore of the barrel. The barrel and the gas block define a passage that receives pressurized propellant gas from the bore by way of the barrel gas ports, and directs the propellant gas to a gas port of the gas block. The plurality of barrel gas ports and the passage act as a manifold in which the propellant gas is taken from multiple locations within the barrel, combined into a single flow, and directed into the gas block via the gas block gas port. The pressurized gas is then routed to an action of the firearm by way of a gas tube and a gas key.

  • Patent number: 11747102
Abstract: Provided is an increased capacity firearm ammunition magazine with a metallic body. The body is dimensioned to compatibly replace a (OEM) polymer or polymer over metal single stack magazine. The body has walls with exterior dimensions compatibly matching those of the OEM magazine and that are thinner than those of the OEM magazine. The thinner walls allow an at least partially laterally offset arrangement of cartridges therein. A longitudinal exterior ridge extends along a forward wall of the body and is configured from the metallic body walls and sized to compensate for forward-to-aft dimensioning difference compared to that of the OEM magazine.

  • Patent number: 11719518
Abstract: A detonator to activate energetic materials in downhole well environments that can be transported and operated safely. The detonator comprises a switch coupled to a power source and the energetic materials. The power source may or may not be a part of the detonator. The switch creates a default closed switch between the power source and the energetic material. The switch can communicate with an actuator in response to engaging a gun assembly. The switch can create an open switch in response to communicating with the actuator. The switch forms a short circuit when configured to the default closed switch and forms an open circuit when configured to the open switch. The energetic material is activated in response to the mechanical switch forming an open switch and power is provided by the power source.

  • Patent number: 11713950
Abstract: A system for improving the accuracy of the seating of primers in primer pockets of shell casings while avoiding damaging the end of the shell casing is provided. A stop mechanism that directly engages the bottom of the shell is included such that, as the primer is inserted into the primer pocket, more accurate seating depth is ensured. In addition, the seating depth may be adjusted in order to compensate for changes over time, which may be due to changes in materials or wear. Further, components that interact with the end of the shell casing and rod have increased thickness to add strength and provide more surface area relative to the base of the shell casing, thus reducing the chance that the base of the shell casing is bent and allowing for a precise stopping position during priming.
