Abstract: A projectile launching apparatus for launching a projectile, such as a pellet, a BB bullet, an arrow, a dart and a paintball includes a linear motion converter driven by a motor, a piston coupled to the linear motion converter and reciprocally movable within a cylinder, a spring assembly and a breech assembly. The piston compresses a gas within the cylinder, after which the compressed gas expands in the barrel of the breech assembly for launching the projectile. Breech assembly includes a breech, a bolt, and bolt barrel cam, which rotate with the gas spring to allow a projectile to enter the breech and then to seal the bolt in the breech before the spring assembly releases its stored energy to launch the projectile.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cartridge that modifies the .223 cases to achieve a cartridge length of 38.3 mm for use with a bullet (e.g., 110 g). The present cartridge system allows the use of a 30-caliber bullet to be used in an AR15 rifle/pistol platform. The decreased cartridge length optimizes the powder burn rate and pressure, which in turn has a greater effect on the ballistics of the round. The present system yields 300-400 ft/s higher velocity over the .300 Blackout in rifle length barrels and greater than 500 ft/s in shorter pistol barrels.
Abstract: The present invention provides a projectile device and a method of manufacture of a projectile device and in particular, to a pistol bullet and a rifle bullet and method of manufacture of same. In one embodiment, the projectile apparatus has a cylindrical body portion having a diameter, a front nose section tapering from a most proximal point of the projectile to the cylindrical body portion, and a rear tail section connected to the body portion and extending to the most distal point of the projectile, in which the front nose portion comprises a plurality of twisting depressions forming troughs.
Abstract: A rail clamp assembly that improves the mechanisms whereby a rail is secured to the rail clamp assembly comprising a mounting base having a diagonally and generally elliptical-shaped channel formed therethrough and further comprising a clamp member. The clamp member has a diagonally formed throughway formed therethrough. The clamp member is received by the mounting base such that the throughway of the clamp member is aligned with the channel. The clamp member further comprises a protrusion which is received within a slot of the rail and the mounting base comprises a protrusion which is received within an adjacently situated slot of the rail. A side wall of the mounting base and an inclined surface of a flange of the clamp member are configured to engage with an inclined surface of the rail to further secure the rail to the assembly.
