  • Patent number: 11760673
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a treatment method of wastewater containing heterocyclic organics comprising the following steps: (1) adding a persulfate to the wastewater containing heterocyclic organics in a reaction vessel; (2) heating the reaction vessel to a reaction temperature in an inert atmosphere, then introducing an oxygen-containing gas until a reaction pressure is reached for reaction, and after the reaction is completed, cooling and filtering the reaction resultant to obtain a filtrate as a treated effluent and a filter residue; no catalyst is added to the reaction system. The treatment method provided by the present disclosure not only can significantly reduce the treatment temperature of the conventional wet oxidation, but also can control the amount of generated spherical polymer and the removal efficiency of organic pollutants by control of reaction conditions. Wastewater purification and organics recovery and reuse are achieved at the same time.

  • Patent number: 11724017
Abstract: A dialysis apparatus has a connection channel that communicatively connects a dialysate circuit and a blood circuit, and circulates dialysate from the dialysate circuit to the blood circuit via the connection channel during a priming operation. A blood pump has a tube attachment device that switches from an unattached state in which a tube is positioned outside a housing and permits liquid to circulate thereinside, to an attached state in which the tube is in the housing and a rotor compresses the tube. At the time of priming, the liquid feeding pump feeds dialysate from the dialysate circuit to the blood circuit via the connection channel. With the blood pump being in the unattached state, the dialysate is circulated past the blood pump, and then, with the blood pump in the attached state, the dialysate is circulated in a direction opposite to the blood pump.

  • Patent number: 11701457
Abstract: Systems and methods include a heat transfer body with opposing major surfaces formed from a thermally conductive substrate in intimate thermal interaction with an alumina exterior surface that extends across the major surfaces of the body. In an illustrative example, the heat source may be a substantially planar, silicone-based heater source (P-SBHS). The heat transfer body may be configured to thermally interact, for example, heat from a heat source proximate a first of the major surfaces to a second of the major surfaces. A temperature sensor module may be located, for example, proximate to the first major surface such that a temperature sensor thermally interacts with the first major surface. • Patent number: 11674507
Abstract: A solar powered sediment capture system is disclosed for collecting sediment at environment sites such as lakes and rivers. A mechanical pump directs water from a containment basin to an upper tank and an antistatic pressure tank, both which are elevated. Gravity flow from the upper tank generates vacuum to establish a syphon for drawing a flowable sediment slurry from an environmental borrow site to a filter. Effluent from the filter passes down to the containment basin, which has water level at a lower elevation than that of the borrow site. Anti-static and driller conduits permit gravity flow from the anti-static tank to suspend the sediment and to maintain the slurry at the syphon inlet in a flowable state.

  • Patent number: 11643340
Abstract: A water treatment device comprising a clear container with lid surrounded by a solar reflector, and an insert in the form of a thin sheet or mesh permanently coated with titanium dioxide as a water sanitizing catalyst. The container is filled with non-potable water, covered with the lid, and placed in direct sunlight. Direct and reflected sunlight enters the water through the clear container and lid, where the sunlight's ultraviolet (UV) radiation and increased solar thermal heat disinfect the water. Further, the catalyst on the insert reacts with dissolved oxygen in the water to produce reactive oxygen species. These reactive species react with and decompose organic compounds in the water, and kill or inactivate pathogens. In addition, the reactive oxygen species further react with the water itself to produce additional free radical species, which also react with and decompose organic compounds and kill or inactivate pathogens.
