Abstract: Certain example embodiments provide systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for a resilience measurement system. For example, the resilience measurement system may receive data from multiple sources, and may measure resiliency based on this data, such as the ability of a population or geographic area (e.g., a country) to withstand emerging threats, including but not limited to, posed by climate and environment, health, globalization, and human development. The resilience measurement system may calculate one or more scores indicating risk, need for program adjustment, or need for policy change and investment, depending on the client the project. To perform such operations, the resilience measurement system may process index scores for different categories of threats to average the index scores for different categories of threats with different weights. The final scores may be used by the resilience measurement system for additional analysis, to perform actions, and/or the like.

Abstract: In one embodiment, this invention analyzes demographic data that is associated with a specific street address when presented as an address change on an existing account or an address included on a new account application when that address is different from the reference address (e.g., a credit bureau type header data). The old or reference address and the new address, the new account application address or fulfillment address demographic attributes are gathered, analyzed, compared for divergence and scaled to reflect the relative fraud risk.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for processing data. During operation, the system performs processing related to a first set of features for a first entity using a first series of embedding layers, wherein the processing includes applying each embedding layer in the first series of embedding layers to a concatenation of all outputs of one or more layers preceding the embedding layer. Next, the system obtains a first embedding as an output of a first final layer in the first series of embedding layers. The system then outputs the first embedding for use by a machine learning model.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for triggering table entries characterizing workflow-related communications occurring between workflow participants are disclosed. The systems and methods may involve presenting a table via a display, the table containing rows and columns defining cells, the rows and cells being configured to manage respective roles of the workflow participants; presenting on the display at least one active link for enabling workflow participants to join in a video or an audio communication; logging in memory, characteristics of the communication including identities of the workflow participants who joined in the communication; and generating an object associated with the table, the object containing the characteristics of the communication logged in memory.

Abstract: Methods and devices for searching for a missing person. Data sources are accessed through an IP network to obtain information about the missing person. Based on the obtained information, potential scenarios are develop of the current location of the missing person. The information is disseminated to search entities that search the geographic areas of the potential scenarios. Additional information is obtained about the missing person during the search to further develop the potential scenarios and focus the search areas.

Abstract: A system and method for adaptive advertisement management for the serving of vehicle description pages and an automated customer engagement thereof. The system is a cloud-based network containing a campaign database, an analytics database, an adaptive advertisement management, a short message service server with automated response capabilities, and user mobile and compute devices that transmit a vehicle description page associated with an advertisement campaign embedded with a communication initiator for display on a customer computing device. Taken together or in part, said system optimizes advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, provides strong analytics for all advertising types while allowing users to engage with advertising quickly and in a real-time automated fashion.

Abstract: A skill acquisition platform may receive input identifying a target role for a user, may identify users from the plurality of users that have worked in the target role, may identify, based on a similarity metric, a subset of the users that have worked in the target role and have similar career trajectories to the user, may cluster vectors of the user and vectors of the subset of the users that have worked in the target role to generate a plurality of skill groups, may generate a directed network graph that represents links between the plurality of skill groups, may identify one or more paths between a first skill group associated with the user and a second skill group associated with the target role, and may automatically generate a descriptive analysis of the one or more paths.

Abstract: A computer apparatus, such as a validator node, for validating incident-related data records in a distributed electronic ledger is configured to receive a request from an agent to add a proposed incident-related data record associated with an incident to the distributed electronic ledger. In response to the proposed incident-related data record, the computer apparatus determines, from the distributed electronic ledger, one or more attributes of the agent or incident. The computer apparatus determines whether the proposed incident-related data record satisfies validation criteria based at least partially on the one or more attributes of the agent or incident. Once validated, the computer apparatus may then append the proposed incident-related data record to the distributed electronic ledger. Alternatively, the proposed incident-related data record may be appended regardless of validity, but an indication of validity may be appended if the proposed incident-related data record is validated.

Abstract: Techniques for selecting models using greedy search on validation metrics are disclosed herein. A system generates corresponding predictions for a validation dataset using a plurality of prediction models. The system selects one of the prediction models for inclusion in an ensemble set based on the selected prediction model generating more correct predictions for the validation dataset than the other prediction models, and then removes the selected prediction model from the plurality of prediction models to form a reduced plurality of prediction models.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying individuals that compatibly contribute to high-performing teams is disclosed. Teams may range in size and complexity from a two-person team of roommates to many hundreds in a commercial product development team. Candidates for new or existing teams are identified by matching brainwave response of candidates to the brainwave signature of high-performing, compatible teams. The stimuli of stimulus datasets are rapidly presented to candidates and sensed by any of the five human senses. The signature of a team type is a set of brainwave response characteristics extracted from one or more high-performing, compatible exemplar teams presented with the stimulus dataset and is also distinctly different from other team types or the general population. Closeness of fit between a candidate's brainwave response and the signature of the exemplar team provides an indication of the likely compatible fit and contribution of a candidate to a high-performing team.

Abstract: Systems and methods may include having an integrated unified filing engine. A system may include at least one processor configured to maintain at least one table containing a plurality of items and a plurality of asset designations, and to maintain at least one electronic whiteboard containing at least a subset of the plurality of asset designations. The processor may be further configured to maintain a data structure containing a plurality of links, wherein each link associates at least one of the subsets of asset designations with at least one location on the at least one electronic whiteboard, receive via a network access device, an activation of a particular link associated with a particular asset, alter a display of at least one electronic whiteboard containing an asset designation, and retrieving a presenting a corresponding asset in response to a received selection of a particular asset designation.

Abstract: Automated processing, enforcement and intelligent management of vehicle operation violations is disclosed. A method, that is also disclosed, includes obtaining at least one image within which is shown at least a portion of a vehicle. The method also includes receiving image data for the at least one image, and analyzing the image data to generate a violation score for each of one or more potential vehicle operation violations for the vehicle. When the violation score is in-between an upper violation threshold and a lower consideration threshold, user input is obtained that either affirms or rejects existence of a violation and then, once the user input is obtained, a violation notification is generated only when the user input affirms the existence of the violation. When the violation score is higher than the violation threshold, the violation notification is generated without the user input being obtained.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided for aggregating state information associated with a composite business object representing at least one collaboration between business entities. The method includes retrieving the state information for the composite business object from a computer-readable medium and determining a state for the composite business object based on an assigned priority level for a state in a hierarchy of states associated with the composite business object, each state in the hierarchy of states having a corresponding assigned priority level.

Abstract: A computer system and method for managing access to a resume database. For each skill or experience-related phrase in a resume, the system computes a term of experience based on an experience range associated with a contextual use of the phrase in the resume. The term of experience for a phrase that occurs multiple times in the resume is the summation of the term of experience for each occurrence of the phrase associated with a different contextual use. The system stores each phrase and the term of experience in a parsed resume. The resume database also stores job descriptions that include required phrases and a required term of experience for each required phrase. The job descriptions also store a required level of education or field of specialization, and a required salary range. A recruiter searches the resume database to find matching resumes that satisfy a job description.

Abstract: Among other things, a server controls access to private information about attributes of a unique item, during one or more stages of an online transaction for the unique item between a first online party and a second online party. The controlling of the access to the private information includes the server digitally storing (a) the private information, (b) a listing of the unique item for the online transaction received from the first online party, the listing including one or more constraints on access to the private information by the second online party at one or more stages of the online transaction, and (c) an indicator of a current stage of the one or more stages of the online sale transaction. The server allows or prevents access to the private information at one of the stages of the online transaction through a browser or an app installed on a device of the second online party and based on the current stage of the online transaction.

Abstract: Techniques for selecting candidates using a personalized model are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a computer system, for each candidate of a plurality of candidates, generating a corresponding confidence score for a combination of the candidate, a particular viewer, and a particular attribute based on a scoring model, with the corresponding confidence score being configured to indicate a likelihood that the particular viewer will select the corresponding candidate as a preference with respect to the particular attribute. The computer system then selects a subset of the plurality of candidates based on the corresponding confidence scores of the candidates in the subset, and causes the subset of candidates to be displayed on a computing device of the viewer along with a prompting for the viewer to select one of the selected subset of candidates as the preference with respect to the particular attribute.
