Abstract: A computing system for redirecting electronic prescription refills is disclosed herein. A server computer device executing an electronic health records application constructs an electronic prescription for a patient and causes the electronic prescription to be routed to a first pharmacy device of a first pharmacy. The electronic prescription includes at least one refill. Subsequently, the server computing device receives an identifier for the electronic prescription and an identifier for a second pharmacy from a second server computing device executing a patient portal application, wherein the identifier for the second pharmacy is specified by the patient. The server computing device identifies the electronic prescription, determines a number of refills remaining on the electronic prescription, and constructs a second electronic prescription including the number of refills.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to automated systems and methods which assess the quality of radiology examinations and identify actionable changes to improve the quality of future exams. For each of a plurality of imaging studies, a study protocol and set of study metrics can be defined and the defined study protocol can be performed to generate data associated with the imaging study. A metrics assessment can be performed by applying at least a portion of the data associated with the result of the imaging study against the set of study metrics for the imaging study so as to generate a metrics score for the imaging study. The metrics scores can be stored in a score repository and analyzed so as to provide recommendations to improve the examination process.

Abstract: An electronic health records application (EHR) receives an indication that a patient in a healthcare facility has been diagnosed with an infectious disease at a datetime. The EHR determines first locations in the healthcare facility in which the patient has been present. The EHR identifies portions of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system (HVAC) system of the healthcare facility based upon the first locations. The portions of the HVAC system connect the first locations to second locations in the healthcare facility. The EHR identifies a person that has been present in at least one of the first locations or the second locations. The EHR then causes a notification to be transmitted to a computing device operated by the person notifying the person of potential exposure to the infectious disease.

Abstract: A method for implementing a secure system to prevent adverse drug interactions and repeat prescriptions, for a patient, in a multi-party computing environment. The method includes receiving a patient identifier from a provider, authenticating an access by the provider, and retrieving a second patient identifier, wherein the second patient identifier corresponds to the received patient identifier, wherein the received patient identifier and the second patient identifier are different. The method further includes receiving an input from the provider that corresponds to the patient identifier, and accessing a database that contains a stored private ID, wherein the stored private ID is a combination of the received patient identifier and the retrieved second patient identifier, and wherein the database includes data relating to the patient. The method includes searching the database to obtain a search result based on the received input from the provider, and transmitting the search result to the provider.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for monitoring treatment of patients. The mechanisms generate a patient registry comprising a plurality of patient registry records, each patient registry record being associated with a corresponding patient and comprising attributes specifying personal and medical information about the corresponding patient. The mechanisms collect, for each patient registry record, treatment data regarding treatment of the corresponding patient. The mechanism analyzes the treatment data to identify successful treatments administered to the corresponding patients. The mechanisms generate one or more cohorts of corresponding patients based on attributes of the patient registry records associated with corresponding patients for which successful treatments were administered. The mechanisms perform at least one patient management operation based on the generated one or more cohorts.

Abstract: System, devices and methods are provided for providing a resident of a controlled-environment facility with services via a communications device, where access to software components, software features and/or content on the communication device may be restricted based on the results of a mental health assessment administered via the communication device. The communication device utilized by the resident connects to a resident communications system that provides use of requested software elements. If a requested software element is determined to be restricted, the resident must complete a mental health assessment that determines a distress level of the resident. The distress level may be determined based on inputs provided by the resident and sensor inputs collected by the communication device. If the mental health assessment indicates the distress level of the resident is below a threshold, the resident is allowed to utilize the software element.

Abstract: A supplement application for ordering genetic tests is disclosed herein. The supplement application receives an identifier for a medication for a patient and an identifier for the patient from an electronic health records application. The supplement application retrieves an identifier for a variant form of a gene based on the identifier for the medication. The variant form of the gene is known to have an interaction with the medication. When the supplement application determines that the patient has failed to undergo a genetic test for the variant form of the gene, the supplement application retrieves an identifier for a genetic laboratory that offers the genetic test. The supplement application then constructs an order for the genetic test using the identifier for the patient, the identifier for the variant form of the gene, and the identifier for the genetic laboratory and transmits the order to a genetic laboratory computing device.

Abstract: Echocardiogram reporting uses a list of standard echocardiogram findings (20) and a standard echocardiogram finding-relevant echocardiogram view lookup table (22). An echocardiogram reporting workstation (10) comprises a display component (12) and at least one user input component (14, 16, 18), and performs an echocardiogram examination reporting method including: interfacing with a user to enable the user to enter a current report (30) on a current echocardiogram examination of a cardiac subject; detecting a current finding value for a standard echocardiogram finding in the current report; and detecting a prior finding value for the echocardiogram finding in a prior report (36) on a prior echocardiogram examination of the cardiac subject.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure is directed to a method for improving the speed of determining a health risk profile associated with a patient. The method may include the step of retrieving patient medical information about the patient, wherein the patient medical information is an uncoded natural language expression in a first language. The method may also include comparing the patient medical information with records in a first database. If the patient medical information matches the preselected medical information, the method includes performing a first data conversion procedure. If the patient medical information fails to match any record in the first database, the method includes performing a second data conversion procedure, wherein the first data conversion procedure is performed faster than the second data conversion procedure.

Abstract: The invention relates generally to a system and methods by which a microbiome-based action component may be developed that is useful in order to establish, restore, promote, or maintain patient health. More specifically, the system and methods of the present invention may be used to develop a microbiome-based action component that efficiently summarizes the state of a patient's microbiome and whether and to what extent inflammation exists in the patient's intestines. Such an efficient summary may be used to render more immediate health care to the patient. Certain specific embodiments of the present invention may be used to facilitate the development a microbiome-based action component that provides, in addition to the efficient summary, a patient-specific, personalized microbiome health plan that includes options that may be followed in order that the patient may achieve personal health, growth, and development goals given the state of the patient's microbiome and intestinal inflammation.

Abstract: A computing system for generating a delayed electronic prescription for a controlled substance is disclosed herein. A server computer device receives precursor data for an electronic prescription for a controlled substance that is to be prescribed to a patient from a client computing device operated by a healthcare worker. The server computing device transmits the precursor data to a second server computing device. The second server computing device then transmits a request for an identity of a pharmacy that is to provide the controlled substance to a patient computing device operated by the patient. The patient computing device receives input causing the identity for the pharmacy to be received by the server computing device. The server computing device constructs the electronic prescription using the precursor data and the identity of the pharmacy and signs the electronic prescription with an electronic signature for the healthcare worker.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product are provided for generating a predictive model. A processor(s) obtains a raw data set (peptide libraries) of patients designated as diagnosed/pre-diagnosed with a condition or not diagnosed with the condition. The processor(s) segments the raw data set into a pre-defined number of groups and separates out a holdout group. The processor(s) performs a principal component analysis on the remaining groups to identify, based on a frequency of features in the remaining groups, common features (principal components) in the remaining groups and weighs the common features based on frequency of occurrence. The processor(s) determines a smallest number of the principal components that yields a pre-defined level of validation accuracy. The processor(s) generates a predictive model, by utilizing the smallest number for a best fit in a logistic regression model. The predictive model provides binary outcomes.

Abstract: A collapsible support frame having two side members attached to each other by at least one hinge and a retention ring which when placed on the side members secures a bag to the support frame in an open position. The two side members pivot with respect to each other to a preferred angle and the retention ring holds the side members together at the preferred angle. The support frame can be placed either upright or laid on the ground allowing the user to insert items in the bag in an easy fashion.

Abstract: A baby bottle holder with a wide base for stability with a concaved based portion for resting upon an infant is disclosed. The bottle holder has two self adjusting arms that grip the infant for hands free feeding leaving the care giver free to perform other tasks. Cylindrical like walls grip the bottle firmly and thereby allowing for easily insertion or removal of the baby bottle. The baby bottle holder retains the bottle at an angle that allowing the flow of liquids for comfortable feeding. The baby bottle holder also is shaped to act as a handle allowing the infant child to easily grip the bottle; and can be used as a teething toy.

Abstract: A column comprising courses of building blocks such as bricks is arranged with the long axis of each block parallel to the axis of the column and filled with a substrate such as concrete with an axial structural member. The column may be produced with the aid of a cage including spaced apart hoops or rings used to position blocks during column construction. Abstract: A computer mouse pad comprises a rigid base and a plurality of fanfolded paper sheets arranged in a stack and detachably fixed to the base. Each of the stacked sheet is detachably fixed to a sheet immediately below it in the stack through microperfs. A subtle opening and closing of two levels of paper at the fold where two perfs occur, induced by mouse pressure, endows the working ply surface with a flexibility of vertical movement, creating a subtle mouse buoyancy. The sheets are provided with printed messages on upper surfaces thereof. A coating is applied to the upper surfaces of the sheets. The coated upper surfaces are resistant to being written upon, thereby preventing accumulation of carbon, graphite and ink markings, which tend to contaminate the roller ball, prevent proper mouse tracking and adversely affect curser control.

Abstract: A grid system for torsion spring mounting of aluminum-framed panels is provided which includes a plurality of main grid beams and spacer bars. The main grid beams support a side load mounting clip formed with a slot in the side of the side load mounting clip to engage a torsion spring held by a spring retainer clip such that the panel is supported by the torsion spring. Disengagement of the torsion springs lowers the panels and permits access to the ceiling grid system above the panel members. In a preferred embodiment, the panel has a multifaceted profile including an edge surface that abuts a corresponding edge surface on an adjacent panel. The peripheral edges of the adjacent panel members diverge above the abutting edge surfaces to accommodate either the alignment fin or the tab of the tile stop and diverge below the abutting edge surfaces to form a reveal.

Abstract: A cleat comprising a body comprising a first portion and that defines a web cutout and a tent pole cutout, and a second portion that defines a guy rope cutout, and the body comprising a bend where the first portion and the second portion meet. The cleat is made of steel or other non-cast metal, and can withstand loading imposed by humans and ratchets without failing. In an embodiment, the first portion comprises a rectangular shape and the second portion comprises a trapezoidal shape, and the first portion and the second portion meet at a bend. The cleat further comprises a web wrapping portion formed adjacent to the web cutout, and a clip is provided. The clip is received in the web cutout and fitted about the web wrapping portion, the clip for preventing a canopy web of a tent from wearing out when the cleat is attached to the canopy web.
