Abstract: Provided are methods and systems related to communications between a social media service or provider (e.g., Twitter®, Facebook®) or other resource (e.g., web page) and one or more content providers. In an aspect, provided are methods, comprising receiving user information and a user agnostic identifier, providing an access element configured to provide access to content from a content provider based on the user information and the user agnostic identifier, receiving, from the content provider, a notification indicative of a user interaction with the content based on a user accessing the content, and tracking user behavior based on at least one of the user information, the user agnostic identifier, the access element, and the notification.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for email management that leverages information derived from a sender's message activity with particular recipients in order to automatically format subsequent messages to those recipients according to the derived information. The present disclosure describes determining message templates associated with messages sent to repetitive recipients, and applying those determined templates upon composition of subsequent messages to the same recipients. Message templates comprise information associated with a message's settings, layout, message content, content type(s), a message type and the like. The determination of message templates and template information for application to messages being composed can be based on learned expressions and/or patterns from a sender's message activity or behavior.

Abstract: A client device may, as part of a remote access or cloud-based network environment, access a resource either by using a connection to a gateway or by using a connection that bypasses the gateway. Which connection is used may be based on the network location of the resources provided by the network environment and network location of the client device. For example, if the client device and a resource are located at the same network location or connected to the same local network, the client device may access the resource by using a connection that bypasses the gateway. If the client device and the resource are located at different network locations or are connected to different local networks, the client device may connect to the gateway to access the resource.

Abstract: In general, one aspect of the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in methods that include identifying social content related to online content for display to a user, determining social content providers associated with the identified social content, calculating quantities based on the user's interaction with each of the respective social content providers, and displaying at least some of the social content based on the calculated quantities. Abstract: System and methods for enforcing service level agreements (SLAs) between computing platforms engaged in (e.g., Internet-of-Things) data exchange via peer-to-peer (P2P) connections are described. In accordance with various embodiments, data traffic via the P2P connections is monitored, and if an SLA violation is detected, data streams are rerouted to cure the violation.

Abstract: A resource management system and method for performing resource management operations in a distributed computer system uses predicted resource demands for a specified time in the future to change a resource management option of a resource management analysis algorithm prior to the specified time so that the resource management analysis algorithm can be executed in anticipation of the predicted resource demands at the specified time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for peer to peer discovery of remote applications are presented. A client device may discover available remote peers and remotely access applications hosted thereon. The client device may send a discovery message over a network and locate one or more peer devices with available remote access. The peer device may respond with a list including applications installed and currently executing application instances that the client device may remotely access. The peer device may dynamically generate the list based on analyzing applications installed on the peer device and application instances executing on the peer device. The client device may initiate remote access of a selected application hosted on the peer device. The peer device may execute the selected application in a remote mode by hooking input and output interfaces associated with the application, and the application may be executed in a shadow desktop environment.

Abstract: For delivering an audio-visual content to a client device, an interconnecting device interconnecting a first network to a second network, the client device being connected to the second network, an equipment adapted to provide the audio-visual content being connected to the first network, said equipment performs: receiving, from the client device, a first request for receiving the audio-visual content; transmitting a redirecting message to the client device, said redirecting message redirecting the client device toward an agent implemented in the interconnecting device. Furthermore, said agent performs: receiving, from the client device, a second request for receiving the audio-visual content; acting as a relay between said equipment and the client device.

Abstract: Mechanisms for identifying a component cluster among a plurality of components in a distributed computing environment are disclosed. Configuration information that corresponds to the plurality of components is accessed. The configuration information includes inter-component communication information. The inter-component communication information between the plurality of components is matched to determine a plurality of pairs of components that communicate with one another. Relationships between the components in the pairs of components are determined. A data structure that identifies the component cluster of the pairs of components and the relationships between the components in the pairs of components is generated.

More specifically, the method is for allocating an appropriate server amongst a plurality of servers in a network by identifying an application to be executed in a network, wherein the network comprises a plurality of servers configured to execute the applications, and each server further comprising a hybrid memory system; based on the application to be executed, dynamically identifying resources to execute the application based on the hybrid memory system available and the power consumption for executing the application; and dynamically allocating the application to the identified resource for execution.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for managing network communication may include (1) identifying a pattern of network communication between a network node and a network service, (2) creating a representation of the network communication pattern, (3) querying, using the representation of the communication pattern, a network communication pattern database that associates network communication patterns with computer programs responsible for generating the patterns, (4) receiving, in response to querying the database, identification of a computer program associated with the network communication pattern, and then, (5) applying a network communication management policy assigned to the computer program associated with the pattern to network communication between the network node and network service. Abstract: A resource requirements method and system is provided. The method includes identifying dependencies and calculating a utilization value for a source server. The source server is mapped to an application and a source infrastructure is compared to a target infrastructure. Deficiencies and differences associated with the target infrastructure are determined and dependency requirements for fulfillment in the target infrastructure are generated. The utilization value is compared to a resource capability of the target server and resource requirements for fulfillment on the target server are generated.

Abstract: A system and method for providing non-blocking communication with a communications server are disclosed herein. A computer system includes one or more processors and a software system executable by the processor. When executed, the software system provides an application thread and additionally provides a server communication thread configured to provide non-blocking communication between the application thread and a communication server. The server communication thread is configured to process commands based on requests for communication server services generated by the application thread. The server communication thread is further configured to communicate with the communication server based on the commands and to block pending a server response. The application thread is configured to execute unimpeded by the communication.

Abstract: A multi-ring reliable messaging system is formed by interconnecting a plurality of token rings via a pair of gateways that includes an active gateway that is configured to communicate with the token rings and a standby gateway that also is configured to communicate with the token rings. The active gateway receives an original message via a first token ring, generates an associated message for a second token ring based on the original message, and propagates the associated message toward the second token ring. The active gateway supports total order delivery of messages within the token rings and causal-order delivery of messages between the token rings. The standby gateway monitors for original and associated messages received via the token rings in a manner for preventing loss of messages when the active gateway fails.

Abstract: A method and system for dynamically optimizing workload of a cloud computing system. The cloud computing system is configured into an operative status by defining a virtual machine (VM) topology representing a respective virtual machine assignment for each physical server of the cloud computing system. An objects database (ODB) stores: business policies, a respective software cost per software application in one or more software license pools, and a power cost of the cloud computing system. It is determined that the cloud computing system does not perform optimally with respect to a total cost of the cloud computing system, which is a sum of the respective software cost and the power cost. The workload of the cloud computing system is distributed pursuant to a new VM topology that has a minimum total cost of the cloud computing system pursuant to the business policies stored in the ODB.

Abstract: The generation and management of shared session information between the client computing device and the network computing provider are provided. The shared session information can correspond to a specification of a set of network resources accessed by the client computing device and the preservation of browse session information associated with the previous access of the set of network resources. The shared session information is utilized by one or more client computing devices to access and recreate a browse session corresponding to the set of network resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for performing PCRF-based IP CAN session information pass-through are disclosed. According to one method, a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) receives Internet protocol connectivity access network (IP CAN) session information from an access network-aware gateway. The PCRF forwards at least a portion of the IP CAN session information to a deep packet inspection (DPI) node.

Abstract: A method for associating a web event with a member of a group of users is implemented at a first computing device. The method includes: receiving a data access request from a second computing device; determining whether the second computing device provides a user login service; if so, causing the second computing device to render the user login service so that the user can provide an instruction of whether or not to associate the data access request with the user of the second computing device; if not, identifying a third computing device that is physically proximate the second computing device; and causing the third computing device to output an alert signal prompting the user of the second computing device to respond; and in response to the user's response through the third computing device, generating a data record to associate the data access request with the user of the second computing device.
