  • Patent number: 12120037
Abstract: Multiple listlets function as a single master linked list to manage data packets across one or more banks of memory in a first-in first-out (FIFO) order, while allowing multiple push and/or pop functions to be performed per cycle. Each listlet can be a linked list that tracks pointers and is stored in a different memory bank. The nodes can include a pointer to a data packet, a pointer to the next node in the listlet and a next listlet identifier that identifies the listlet that contains the next node in the master linked list. The head and tail of each listlet, as well as an identifier each to track the head and tail of the master linked list, can be maintained in cache. The individual listlets are updated accordingly to maintain order of the master linked list as pointers are pushed and popped from the master linked list.

  • Patent number: 12052782
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for establishing communications within a multicast group of nodes included in a mesh network. The technique includes receiving a first unicast message that includes a multicast join request from a member node included in the multicast group, wherein the multicast join request specifies a first shortest path from the member node to a multicast group leader also included in the multicast group. The technique also includes forwarding the first unicast message to the multicast group leader along the first shortest path, and forwarding a second unicast message from the multicast group leader to the member node along a second shortest path, wherein the second unicast message includes a multicast join acknowledgment. The technique further includes declaring a first node as a multicast forwarder in the multicast group, wherein the first node is responsible for forwarding the second unicast message.

  • Patent number: 12028796
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for a WLAN device to select an operating dynamic frequency selection (DFS) channel that minimizes the probability of radar interference by using aiding information. The aiding information may be a crowd-sourced database of geo-tagged radar zones including one or more DFS channels used within the geo-tagged radar zones that are detected by a plurality of WLAN devices. The WLAN device may query the crowd-sourced database for a geo-tagged radar zone that is nearby to determine if a radar operates on an overlapping DFS channel so it may switch to a different channel. In one aspect, the aiding information may be periodic special action frames broadcast by a WLAN beaconing device over the operating channel of the WLAN device. The special action frames may carry information on one or more channels used by a near-by radar and recommended alternative channels to use by the WLAN device.

  • Patent number: 11902948
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for improving pairing of user equipment (UE) in a Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system using carrier aggregation are provided. Component carriers (CC) used for communication with UEs in the network may undergo routine beamforming calibration checks to determine if the CCs are calibrated. If a CC fails calibration, then UEs that communicate with the CC as their primary component carrier (PCC) may not be receiving the high data throughput typically experienced through the PCC. In response to determining that a CC fails calibration, a computing device may pair UEs with another CC as their PCC until the original CC passes a calibration check. The computing device may determine which CC to pair to the UEs based on uplink capacity, bandwidth, or a passed calibration check.
