    Abstract: Wet fire protection systems and methods for the protection of a stored commodity are provided. The system includes a supply portion coupled to a water supply and a demand portion including a plurality of sprinklers disposed above the commodity with each sprinkler having an operating pressure range. The plurality of sprinklers are interconnected by a network of pipes filled with water to provide each sprinkler with an initial pressure of water. A pressure control assembly is disposed between the supply portion and the demand portion to withhold fluid pressure from the supply portion from pressurizing the demand portion for a predetermined withholding period following actuation of at least one sprinkler in response to a fire.

    Abstract: An irrigation drip emitter, and methods relating to same, are provided for delivering irrigation water from a supply tube to an emitter outlet at a reduced and relatively constant flow rate. The emitter defining an inlet, outlet and flow passage extending between the inlet and outlet. In one form, the emitter includes a root growth inhibiting member disposed in the outlet of the emitter. In another form, the emitter includes stepped flippers for controlling fluid flow through the emitter. In yet another form, the emitter includes disconnected or freestanding outlet walls disposed in the outlet for preventing the outlet from collapsing under increased fluid line pressure without creating dead ends where grit can build-up. In other forms, the emitter defines one or more recess within which inserts may be disposed so the emitter and insert collectively define a fluid flow passage. Related methods are also disclosed herein.

    Abstract: A loader bucket has material spreaders on opposing sides of the loader bucket to spread material from within the loader bucket received through discharge openings in the rear wall of the bucket from an auger located in the bottom of the bucket. Each material spreader includes a spinner formed with blades to spread the material received through the discharge openings. The material spreaders are positioned below the apex of the V-shaped bucket and operable within a path of distribution that includes an interior boundary member oriented with a forward end closer to the center of the bucket than the rearward end to provide a distribution forwardly and laterally of the bucket. A low baffle mounted at the bottom periphery of the spinner blades forces material upwardly into a fluffy pattern. A high baffle provides a second boundary limit for the distribution of material.

    Abstract: A shower head is disclosed that includes means for accessing its interior. A method for accessing the interior of the shower head is also disclosed. The shower head includes a main body with an interior, a proximal water receiving end for connecting to a water source and a distal water dispensing end. A face plate is movably affixed to the water dispensing end. The face plate has openings for water to pass therethrough to reach a user. The face plate is movable between a closed position where the face plate closes the distal water dispensing end of the main body and an open position where the face plate is displaced away from the distal water dispensing end of the main body to access the interior of the main body. The interior of the shower head is therefore easily accessible without the need for tools or plumbing expertise. The shower head may include a regulating device, also easily accessible, for controlling the flow or for treating the water passing therethrough.

When the fuel is injected from the nozzle hole and the pressure in the vicinity of the nozzle hole is reduced, the plurality of blades guide a flow of air from the radially outward side of the bottom wall part to the radially inward side of the bottom wall part and generates a swirling flow of the air about the center of the bottom wall part. The swirling flow of the air about the center of the bottom wall part changes to a helical flow by receiving kinetic momentum from fine particles of the fuel injected from the nozzle hole and the helical flow of the air transports the fine particles of the fuel.

The spring may be captured within the annular space, thereby biasing the distal tip of the pillar into contact with the orifice.
