  • Patent number: 11470839
Abstract: In one or more arrangements, a method is provided for manufacturing a game call that incorporates ashes of cremated remains of a pet or loved one. The provided method incorporates the ashes into a polymer mixture used to form one or more components of the game call. In this manner, the resulting game call may serve as a memorial keepsake of the pet or loved one. The ashes are mixed with a polymer and poured into a mold. The mold is shaped for formation of at least one component of the game call. Once hardened, the polymer and remains mixture is removed from the mold and set to cure. After curing, a call profile is cut into the component. The component may be processed, for example, by sanding, wet sanding, finishing, painting, and/or polishing. The component is assembled with other components of the game call to form the game call.

  • Patent number: 11475799
Abstract: Chiropractic training apparatus includes an anatomic mannequin incorporating a network of electronic sensors providing feedback to a user related to applied pressure. The mannequin may include a simulated human head and pelvic region with simulated articulating spinal vertebrae embedded in pliable silicone skin and gel materials. Electronic circuitry determines when pressure is applied to any of the plurality of pressure sensors during the palpation of the model, and output an electronic signal representative of the applied pressure. A mechanism may be provided to facilitate adjustment of relative joint stiffness. A computer display in communication with the model may show information indicative of vertebral level and/or color gradients associated with the pressure applied by a user. The physical model may only include portions of a simulated human spine (i.e., lumbar only). However, the model is preferably life-sized, and may be configured for prone positioning on a table or other work surface.

  • Patent number: 11468779
Abstract: A method of developing and managing a training program that includes displaying a parameter selection window, receiving a selection of values of parameters to define a first training program, wherein the values of the parameters are rated on a first challenge level scale, determining a predicted performance level of a learner taking the first training program, the predicted performance level determined based on actual performance data of the learner and rated on a second challenge level scale, comparing the predicted performance level to a desired outcome, displaying results of the comparison if a difference between the predicted performance level and the desired outcome is greater than a threshold, receiving an adjustment to the values of the parameters to define a second training program, wherein the second training program has a different challenge level relative to the first training program, and administering the second training program to the learner.

  • Patent number: 11465036
Abstract: A portable rotatable spinner to be used in combination with a pencil and an educational curriculum worksheet, where the worksheet incorporates a spinner-type game board image, and where the game board is used by students to generate random results or data. The spinner has an arrow-shaped body. Located midpoint of the body is an integrally-formed, vertically-oriented cylinder. The cylinder extends symmetrically from the upper and lower surfaces of the body. Through the cylinder is a hole or aperture. The aperture has an internal diameter slightly larger than the diameter of a pencil. In use, the spinner is placed on top of the worksheet and aligned over the game board. A pencil is inserted through the spinner. One hand holds the pencil vertically while the other hand flicks the spinner. The spinner rotates freely about the pencil until coming to a rest.
