  • Patent number: 12126752
Abstract: A computer that dynamically generates a customized second document is described. During operation, the computer receives information specifying activation of a hosted field in a document associated with a third party, where the information specifies a willingness to receive one or more messages from the computer and specifies a telephone number. In response, the computer dynamically generates the customized second document that includes information about one or more transactions (such as one or more upcoming events) of interest to an individual associated with the telephone number. Then, the computer sends a message to an address corresponding to the telephone number, where the message includes a link to the customized second document. Next, when the computer receives information specifying activation of the link from an electronic device, the computer provides information specifying the customized second document to the electronic device for display on the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 12108493
Abstract: Role switch between wirelessly paired master/slave devices may be performed without perceived glitches in audio. The devices negotiate an anchor point, such as a point in time or a point in relation to other events, for performing the role switch. To prepare for the role switch prior to the anchor point, the devices communicate a variety of information, such as information for communicating with the host device after the role switch and information for bit processing after the role switch. The slave device may use such information to serve in the master role, without the host knowing that a role switch occurred.

  • Patent number: 12082307
Abstract: Techniques are provided for operator specific customization of a network service configuration. In some embodiments, an operator defines a mapping between an application executing on a user equipment (UE) and a network service configuration. In some embodiments, the network service configuration indicates whether the application is to be supported via a UPF instance located within the core network or deployed at a network edge. The mapping is then provided to the UE, and passed back to the core network, for example, when the UE establishes a connection on behalf of the UE application. The core network then supports the UE application consistent with the configuration specified by the mapping.

  • Patent number: 12058595
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide deployment optimization service. A network device in a network receives an order for virtual network function (VNF) deployments at network edge locations. The network device maps a radio access network (RAN) topology for the network edge locations. The network device identifies time windows to perform the VNF deployments, based on the order, historical transport and RAN utilization data, and the RAN topology. The network device selects an optimal time window to perform the VNF deployments based on stored policy rules and pushes software images for the VNF deployments to an image repository in a geographical region near the network edge locations. The network device analyzes, for the optimal time window, real-time network data for a pre-emptive condition. The network device pre-empts the VNF deployments when a pre-emptive condition is identified and initiates the VNF deployments when no pre-emptive condition is identified.

  • Patent number: 12041446
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein describe vehicle-based authentication protocols. An illustrative authentication server may receive a request to authenticate a user connected from a mobile device. The authentication server may transmit a request to the mobile device to transmit geolocation data of the mobile device. In response, the mobile device may transmit a stream of its geolocation data. Based upon the received geolocation data stream, the authentication server may determine that the mobile device in a motion and select a vehicle-based authentication protocol to request geolocation data of a trusted vehicle. The authentication server may compare the mobile device geolocation data stream and the vehicle geolocation data stream to determine a similarity score. If the similarity score is above a threshold, the authentications server may authenticate the user. In some cases, the authentication server may authenticate the user if the mobile device is connected to the trusted vehicle.
