A food stuffing apparatus provides a receptacle having an interior, an upper end portion with a larger opening and a lower end portion with a smaller opening, and a tapering portion in between the upper and lower end portions. A plunger is provided having a head, a lower end portion with a shaft having a lower pushing surface and a joint, joining the head to the shaft.

One or more infrared sources are position within the upper and lower chambers to directly heat the steam, the food or the divider. A pressure-controlled environment may be provided in the upper chamber. Uniformity and increased speed of heating the food is facilitated by direct heat transfer in the upper chamber and by indirect heat transfer from the conduction of heat through the divider from the lower chamber.

The even heating can eliminate hot spots and cold spots of a temperature gradient along an axis of the piping system.

The system and method of increases condensation of the steam flow within the vent pipe, and the condensed steam is drained from the cooking device, producing a minimal amount of steam that is vented outside of the cooking device. The system and method of the present disclosure provide higher efficiency of condensation of steam and an overall smaller amount of atmospheric venting of steam.

The thermal eraser has a heated tip that can be heated to a temperature sufficient to cause the tactile drawing feature to flow back into the surface of the tactile drawing medium. The heated tip has a tip temperature that can be controlled by a temperature-regulating circuit. A set-point temperature can be used to set the tip temperature and maintain the tip temperature. The thermal eraser can be controlled by hand or by an electro-mechanical device such as a tactile printer.

    Abstract: To fix a valve piece encompassing a connecting shell and a valve to a can jacket, an embodiment of a method includes a welding step in which the connecting shell of the valve piece is fastened to the can jacket as a top closing element along with the valve by laser welding. According to an embodiment, a shoulder-shaped constricted cross section is embodied on the can jacket towards the top face thereof while the border area of the closing element which rests against the shoulder is tightly pressed theragainst and is sealingly joined to a laser seam, the top face of the can jacket lying inside the can. The method dispenses with the need to configure or fix a valve seat while eliminating the technically complex crimping step, thus also dispensing with the need for an installation used for crimping connecting shells in the filling station. The method makes it possible to produce also aerosol cans whose diameter is smaller than the diameter of a standard valve seat.
