Abstract: A plurality of mating separable containers includes cooperating lugs or ears between containers, providing for the removable insertion of a pin (e.g., the handle of an eating utensil, such as a fork, knife, spoon, chopstick, etc.) therethrough to secure the containers together. At least one of the containers includes an arcuately curved resilient wall from which the ear(s) extend(s), thus purposely misaligning the passages through the ears or lugs of the adjoining containers. The resilience of the wall allows the passages to be biased into alignment for the insertion of a utensil handle therethrough, and serves to retain the utensil handle therein to preclude accidental loss and separation of the containers. Placing the attachments on the sides of the containers, rather than along the upper edges, allows lids to be removably installed along the upper edges, as in non-connectable containers. The containers may be made in any suitable size and shape, and are preferably formed of a material (e.g.

Abstract: The bag for friable material comprises a bottom surface panel for defining the bottom of the bag with respect to the vertical sides and the top portions of the bag when the bag is filled. The bag includes a discharge opening in the bottom surface panel which is defined by surrounding portions of the bottom surface panel. A foldable discharge spout is connected to the surrounding portions of the bottom surface panel for being maintained within the discharge opening when the beg is filled. A closure flap covers the discharge opening and the spout for being pulled open when the bag is filled. When the flap is pulled open, the spout unfolds under the weight of the contents and permits those contents to discharge. A pull strap is connected to the closure flap and has a length sufficient for portions to extend outwardly from one of the vertical sides of the bag.

Abstract: A container for food processing including an upwardly opening receptacle with a cover selectively sealed thereto and retained by pivotally mounted handles including outer retention bars which downwardly engage against the cover and include depending clips which lock beneath lugs on the receptacle. The cover includes a pressure responsive central domed portion and a selectively openable venting port.

Abstract: A container having a bottom, a sidewall attached to the bottom and the sidewall terminates in an open end. A closure member can be removably affixed to close the open end. There is a downwardly extending lip on the closure member that has an inner wall surface opposed to an outer wall surface. One of the inner and outer wall surfaces of the lip slidably adjoins one of the inner and outer wall surfaces of the container wall. A groove is formed in each of the adjoining wall surfaces such that when the closure is mated to the container, the grooves are brought into registry with one another and jointly form a locking passageway within which there is received an elongated locking member of a size to be received within the locking passageway to thereby prevent axial movement between the container and the closure member. The closure member further includes a port that communicates the locking passageway with the exterior of the closure member.

Abstract: A computer-printable laminated diskette envelope form is disclosed which has two paper sheets securedy by adhesive. Multiple structures are defined by patterns imperforated in the form and include a diskette envelope of novel tapered shape for easy insertion of a diskette and better wear as well as several labels such as a diskette identifier, a customer order label and the like. A pattern for the diskette envelope includes a print area for a directory listing of files stored on the diskette. A customized software utility interacts with the diskette and the envelope form controlling printing of the directory listing and providing a variety of options to users.

A first group of coupling portions are possessed by each case, which establish a coupling of the first and second cases when the first and second cases are mated in a front-to-front mating manner. Abstract: A combined holder and support for receptacle such as drinking cups, cans, bottles, mugs comprising a flexible, resilient blanket having insolation qualities, wrapped in various diameter cylindrical open ended chambers adapted to releasably hold the receptacle and a thin and narrow elongated vertical support adapted to be bendable by hand into an L-shaped configuration and including velcro strips on the back face of the vertical support and inner surface of the blanket to support the blanket at various heights relative to the L-shaped configuration. Velcro strips at opposite ends of the blanket secure the blanket in the cylinder. The upper end of the vertical support is bendable to various configurations to accommodate the shape of the support to which it is being supported.

Abstract: A drinking cup 10 for assisting swallowing has a hollow container portion 12 including a base 18 and an upwardly extending, elliptically-shaped sidewall 20. The sidewall defines an elliptical aperture 32 at its apex. The inner surface 26 of the sidewall defines an ellipse from a cross-sectional perspective at substantially all elevations between the aperture and a point proximate to the base, each cross section being taken along a plane disposed parallel to a plane defined by the aperture. The elliptical aperture is sized to accommodate a person's nasal bridge during drinking such that substantial backwards angulation of the head is not required. The cup includes a handle 16 disposed 90.degree. out from the major axis of the elliptical aperture. People with dysphagia and/or arthritis are expected to benefit especially from the features of the present invention.

A locking arrangement included in the container and having locking means (7) on the lid and/or locking means (8) on the bottom member is arranged to interlock the lid and the bottom member in the folded state of the container in a position, in which they are located substantially closer to each other than when the container is filled. The lid and the bottom member form a space therebetween in the interlocked state, in which space the folded wall arrangement may be received.

Abstract: A garbage can comprises a bottom provided on the upper side thereof with a bottom seat made up of a receiving slot dimensioned to house an entire roll of garbage bags, two side plates having respectively an arcuate upper edge, a cover fastened pivotally to the two side plates, and a front plate. When the receiving slot is covered in full with the cover, there is a gap formed between the upper edge of the front plate and the cover. The dimension of the gap is such that the garbage bags can be easily pulled out of the receiving slot via the gap. The new garbage bags kept in the receiving slot are shielded by the cover, the front plate and the two side plates so that the new garbage bags can not be soiled by the garbage liquid seeping out through a cut or leak in the garbage bag containing the garbage.

Abstract: A protective wrap for use in packaging and shipping includes a plurality of flexible material strips whose length and width may be varied as well as the selected material and a plurality of relatively rigid material strips whose length would typically be the same length as the flexible material strips but whose width will vary depending upon the application. A suitable material for the relatively rigid material strips is corrugated paper or expanded polystyrene foam. The flexible material strips and the relatively rigid material strips are arranged side by side in alternating sequence and when a backing layer is not used, the strips are joined to each other by adhesive. When a backing layer is used the strips may either be joined together by adhesive or joined by adhesive directly to the backing layer.

Abstract: This invention enables the storage of several recyclable materials in a single container by providing a method of dividing ribs and an attachment method that attaches plastic bags to the ribs by the interaction between holes in a fastened flexible strip and projecting knobs located on the dividing ribs. The invention works to hold the bags best when a keyhole, obrounde, oroval hole is used and the strip is slightly stretched to fit over each projecting knob so that when the strip elastically rebounds after stretching it applies a force to the bag material that surrounds the projecting knob.

Abstract: An insulated jacket for a conical shaped container is disclosed. A flat strip of flexible, thermal insulating material has a pair of opposing side surfaces defined by a pair of non-parallel, opposing end edges that are contiguous with a pair of opposing, curved, mainly parallel side edges. A two-part hook-and-loop type fastener is included, one of each part being fixed to each one of the side surfaces adjacent to each one of the opposing end edges. A pair of opposing handle strips may be further included that extend in opposing directions from opposing side edges. Each one of the handle strips provides one part of a second hook-and-loop type fastener for joining with the other of the handle strips so as to form a handle for holding the jacket and the container.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a closure for a vessel such as a fuel tank or lubricant tank of a portable handheld work apparatus having an internal combustion engine. The closure includes a filling stub formed on the vessel and defining an opening and a cap for closing off the opening seal tight with respect to the ambient when the cap is placed on the filling stub. A holder prevents the cap from being separated from the vessel after the cap has been removed from the filling stub. The holder includes a flexible member having first and second end portions and an elongated flexible segment disposed between the end portions. A first attachment disposed on an inner wall surface of the cap fixedly holds the first end portion on the cap and a second attachment disposed on the vessel fixedly holds the second end portion on the vessel.

Abstract: A stackable tray for paper stock, drawings sheets, or the like comprising a bottom panel, opposing side walls extending upwardly from the bottom panel along the side edges thereof, and front and walls extending upwardly from the bottom panel along the front and rear edges thereof. The front wall is comprised of a pair of spaced apart front wall segments defining an opening traversing substantially the length of the tray. The walls define a top ledge extending upwardly and a bottom ledge extending downwardly. The top and bottom ledges are sized and positioned so that the top ledge of one tray is received within and bounded by the bottom ledge of a like tray when the trays are stacked, or vice versa. The bottom panel defines a plurality of recesses aligned in rows and columns. A cross brace traverses each tray and is received within a recess formed in the underside of the bottom panel.

Abstract: A thermal insulating shipping container having an elongate rectangular box-like configuration, made up of panels, each having an evacuated area therein. Each panel comprises inner and outer panel sections each having inner and outer skins and a honeycomb core. Standoff units in the evacuated area resist compression loads exerted on the inner and outer panel sections, and a radiation shield is positioned in the evacuated area.
