  • Patent number: 10761802
Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products for indicating a reference song. A computing device stores reference song characterization data that identifies a plurality of audio characteristics for each reference song in a plurality of reference songs. The computing device receives digital audio data that represents audio recorded by a microphone, converts the digital audio data from time-domain format into frequency-domain format, and uses the digital audio data in the frequency-domain format in a music-characterization process. In response to determining that characterization values for the digital audio data are most relevant to characterization values for a particular reference song, the computing device outputs an indication of the particular reference song.

  • Patent number: 10740064
Abstract: Described herein are a system and techniques for dynamically generating targeted media content. In some embodiments, the system identifies an appropriate template based on the content currently being consumed by a user, preferences or attributes associated with that user, a product to be presented, or any other suitable factor. Once a temple has been selected, a product may be selected for presentation to the user based on the content currently being consumed by a user, preferences or attributes associated with that user, or any other suitable factor. The selected template is then populated using attributes of the user and/or the product. Once populated, the text in the populated template may be smoothed. The generated content may then be synthesized into a different format, in order to match a format of content currently being consumed by a user, which may then be presented to the user.

  • Patent number: 10664227
Abstract: An electronic device, method, and computer program product provide smart audio path routing to a remote audio system. A controller of an electronic device determines whether a configuration setting indicates that primary audio content is to be transmitted to a remote audio system. In response to the configuration setting indicating the primary audio is to be transmitted to the remote audio system, the controller transmits test audio content to the remote audio system. The controller listens, via a microphone of the electronic device, for the test audio content within audio output from the remote audio system. In response to not detecting the test audio content from the remote audio system, the controller enables playing of the primary audio content on speaker(s) of the electronic device. In response to detecting the test audio content, the controller transmits the primary audio content to be outputted by the remote audio system.

  • Patent number: 10657175
Abstract: Methods and a computer-readable storage device are disclosed for generating a frequency representation of a query audio file. The frequency representation represents information about at least a number of frequencies within a time range containing a number of time frames of the audio content information and a level associated with each of said frequencies. At least one of area of data points in the frequency representation is selected. A fingerprint for each selected area of data points is generated by applying a trained neural network onto said selected area of data points thereby generating a vector in a metric space. A distance between at least one of the generated query fingerprints and at least one reference fingerprint is calculated using a specified distance metric. A reference audio file having associated reference fingerprints which have produced at least one associated distance satisfying a predetermined threshold is identified.
