Abstract: An appliance includes a body, an interface panel, a scanning device, and a controller. The interface panel is coupled to the body. The scanning device is coupled to the interface panel and is configured to conduct a facial scan and gather a facial data set. The controller is communicatively coupled to the scanning device, wherein the controller is configured to receive the facial data set and compare the facial data set to a stored verification data set. The controller is configured to activate a routine based on the comparison of the facial data set and the stored verification data set.

Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for payment transaction overrides and system initiated payment splitting. In one embodiment, a first authorization request associated with a first account is monitored at an override computer, an override trigger is identified, and a transaction override approval is received. Override authorization requests are then sent, and responses to the override authorization requests are received at the override computer. A response to the initial authorization request is the sent based on the response received to the override authorization request. In alternative embodiments the override requests are cascaded, or include requests for new account creation.

Abstract: Systems for helping a user manage external party-activity software objects by using machine-readable indicia. In one embodiment, an exemplary computer-implemented method may comprise receiving a first request to link a digital profile of the application end user associated with the entity with a third-party entity. In response to receiving the first request, the second request is sent to a second server associated with the third-party entity, and a third request is received from the application end user for accessing at least one user-related external party-activity software object via the first server by using machine-readable indicia.

Abstract: A payment service provider device determines that a first geolocation of a user device is within a predetermined proximity to a second geolocation associated with a merchant Point-Of-Sale (POS) device that is coupled to a network and provides, via the network to the merchant POS device, a communication that includes a user identifier associated with a user of the user device, such that the communication causes the user identifier to be displayed on a display device associated with the merchant POS device and the user is checked-in at a merchant location associated with the merchant POS and the second geolocation. The payment service provider device receives, via the network, a payment request that is associated with the user identifier, and then completes the payment request using a user account associated with the user identifier.

Abstract: Systems and methods are configured to determine whether a particular information object is a duplicate of an object found in separate information objects. In various embodiments, the particular information object and each separate information object includes a set of data fields for storing data values that allows identical values to be stored in different fields for the objects. The data values for the particular information object are combined to form a data structure that includes a data element for each value. A determination as to whether the particular information object is an exact or partial match of a separate information object is made by performing a function on the data structure for the particular information object and a data structure for the separate information object to identify an intersection that includes data values for the particular information object that have an identical match with values for the separate information object.

Abstract: Described herein are a cash register and a ticket vending mechanism that require little or no merchant infrastructure resulting in dramatic cost reduction for merchants. These are made possible through a payer-centric payment paradigm where the payer—as opposed to the merchant—completes the payment transaction without depending on the merchant, resulting in increased payer convenience and payment security.

Abstract: A method and system of providing customer-specific information and guidance to insurance policyholders during claims processing. The information is created based on outputs from a claims complexity model, customer segmentation model, and claims service level objective (SLO) model. The resulting information is tailored to the individual policyholder and their claim, and includes a summary of their claim activity, guidance regarding their next steps, and predicted wait times for each stage in their claim's processing. In some embodiments, the information is presented as messaging delivered over the policyholder's preferred communication channel(s) that can differ based on which stage of the claims process the claim is in.

Abstract: A system for generating rate and payment information for a customer receives an inquiry type from a customer relating to a loan or mortgage. The system also receives a value specific to the potential loan or mortgage. In combination with a product and policy database and a pricing/fee database, relevant financial products are determined and provided to the customer. The inquiry type can include buying a property, refinancing a mortgage, improving a property, and/or using funds from a property.

Abstract: Systems and related methods facilitating payments with a mobile device are discussed herein. Circuitry in a networked-based payment system may be configured to receive payment information from a first device. The first device may include circuitry configured to wirelessly receive wallet identifying data from the payment system. The wallet identifying data may be used to secure messages between the first device and another device over a wireless link. For example, the first device may be configured to send the wallet identifying data to a second device, which may then communicate with the payment system. In response, consumer identifying data associated with the wallet identifying data may be received by the second device from the payment system. In some embodiments, use of wallet identifying data may be applied to other communications, such as for messages that authorize payment.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing device connectable to peripheral devices for retail transaction processing includes an interface for connecting to a plurality of peripheral devices, a storage unit including an unrestricted storage area and a restricted storage area, and a processor. The processor is configured to acquire device information from each of the plurality of peripheral devices connected to the interface, identify whether the acquired device information meets to a first condition, generate a first key from at least a portion of the acquired device information if the first condition is met, then use the generated first key to unlock a first area of the restricted storage area. The processor then executes a first processing program that was stored in the unlocked first area.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to processing and executing digital asset transfers between two users. An example method includes receiving a data object defining a digital asset transfer, and the data object may be a query from the first user to initiate an outbound transfer to a second user or an approval of a request for digital asset units from the second user. The method further includes retrieving account balance data objects associated with the digital asset accounts for the first and second users. The method further includes, responsive to determining that the digital asset transfer satisfies one or more transfer conditions, executing the digital asset transfer by executing a closed-loop debit from the first user and executing a closed-loop credit to the second user. The method further includes updating the account balance data object to reflect the resulting balances of each digital asset account.

Abstract: The invention introduces a method and system designed to augment sports fans' experience and simultaneously generate revenue for athletes. It involves a computerized platform for storing and accessing videos, which contain athletes sharing insights about their competitive season in sports like games, matches, or meets. The access to these videos is facilitated through either a URL for online viewing or a QR code embedded in a digital or printed format. A unique feature of this system is the video view availability monitoring display/selection grid. This grid showcases images of fans' favorite athletes on one axis and the corresponding games, matches, or meets on another, allowing users to easily select and view their preferred content. Athletes have the ability to upload multiple videos for the same event, with each video distinctly labeled with time, date, and explanatory notes.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for fallback authorization routing. A merchant processor may receive authorization requests from one or more merchant systems. These authorization requests may be to authorize a transaction. The merchant processor may transmit these authorization requests over a first communication channel to an acquirer processor, which may then forward the requests to a payment network. If the merchant processor determines that the acquirer processor is not receiving the authorization requests, or is otherwise unavailable, the merchant processor may, as a fallback, transmit the authorization requests directly to the payment network through a second communication channel, thereby bypassing the acquirer processor. When the merchant processor receives some indication that the acquirer processor is available to process authorization requests, new authorization requests can be transmitted to the acquirer processor via the first communication channel.

Information regarding the objects may be associated therewith by means of the image objects, and image objects may be associated with other image objects to generate associations between information regarding the underlying objects. Information regarding other image objects or the associated image may be used to determine information regarding the object, which may be associated with the image object. In some embodiments, associating two or more image objects may associate the underlying objects for purposes of insurance policies or may generate a new insurance policy based on the image objects.
