  • Patent number: 9388782
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine. The fuel injection valve includes a valve body (10), a nozzle (20), a valve plate (30), a main needle spindle (40), a main needle (50), a main needle spring (60), a spring plate (70), a pilot needle spring (80), a pilot needle spindle (90) and a pilot needle (100). In the present invention, both the main needle and the pilot needle are opened or only the pilot needle is opened by compressed high-pressure fuel oil or compressed air, thereby enabling main injection and pilot injection to be separately performed by the single fuel-injection valve. Furthermore, because opening of the main needle valve can be controlled by compressed air for ignition or control of an engine, only the pilot injection may be conducted even without using a separate compression apparatus or the like.

  • Patent number: 9370630
Abstract: Proposed are a medical spray head (300) for spraying one or more fluid substances with the use of a compressed gas, a spray device equipped therewith, and a method for using the same. In order to avoid too high a gas pressure, the spray head comprises a pressure relief valve (310) which guides the compressed gas out of the spray head if the gas pressure exceeds a threshold pressure. As a result, the risk of gas embolisms occurring during the use of such a spray head for medical purposes is reduced.

  • Patent number: 9322152
Abstract: The shower head contains a nozzle body and a handle. The nozzle body contains a connecting rod, a support disc, and a container. The container is rotated by water from the handle and its stored liquid soap, essence, or lotion is released by centrifugal force. Water mixed with soap or essence is then ejected from the nozzle head. When the connecting rod is twisted towards a direction, the container is prevented by the support disc from contacting with water and therefore pure water is ejected from the nozzle head. A special flow path is provided in the handle. As water flows through handle, the speed of the water increases and, due to the Venturi effect, outside air is sucked into the handle and mixed with the water, thereby producing a large number of tiny bubbles. The shower head therefore provides a significantly enhanced cleaning effect.

  • Patent number: 9291134
Abstract: A needle type fuel injector has a needle control chamber at a pressure subject to a control valve in a control valve chamber which in an opening phase is lifted from its seat to expose the control valve chamber, connecting passage, and needle control chamber to a low pressure drain and in a closing phase is urged against the seat to isolate the control valve chamber, connecting passage, and needle control chamber from the drain. The potential for cavitation at high fuel injection pressure is reduced by throttling the flow of fuel past the control valve seat when the control valve opens, thereby maintaining sufficient back pressure in the control valve chamber and upstream connecting passages.

  • Patent number: 9284930
Abstract: A combined injector and fuel pump suitable for high pressure direct injection of heavy fuels into Diesel engines, in particular small light weight Diesel engines. The injector utilizes a piezoelectric actuator driving a piston assembly comprising an inlet reed check valve disposed thereon. The piston may house an injection needle valve component spring loaded against the piston on one end of the needle component and a valve seat on the other end of the needle component. Fuel enters an inlet port coupled to an inlet passage within the piston. Piezoelectric actuator contraction transfers fuel from the inlet passage through the reed valve to a pressurization chamber. Piezoelectric actuator expansion drives the piston to pressurize the fuel in the pressurization chamber, which forces open the needle valve and nozzle assembly, injecting a finely atomized mist of fuel into a cylinder. A poppet injection valve embodiment is described.

  • Patent number: 9283579
Abstract: A dual, variable volume hot melt adhesive dispensing nozzle or die assembly is provided with a pair of choke slots within a first fluid control plate. The provision of the choke slots within the first fluid control plate effectively restricts and retards the flow of the fluid through such choke slots whereby volumes of the fluids are effectively built up and stored upstream of the choke slots so as to effectively delay the reaction of pressure spikes upon the fluid flows under both positive and negative conditions. This buildup in pressure and volume is then dispensed over time so as to cause the fluid flow to smoothly transition between positive and negative spiked fluid flow conditions and normal fluid flow conditions. Accordingly, the pressure spikes do not adversely affect the resulting fluid flows whereby, for example, under conventional negative pressure spike conditions, gaps in the dispensed hot melt adhesive would otherwise occur.
