  • Patent number: 9085862
Abstract: A spreader assembly may include a hopper having a receptacle for holding salt, or the like, and at least one chamber formed between the receptacle and an outer surface of the hopper. The chamber may hold a liquid used to pre-wet the salt before it contacts a ground surface. The hopper may be an insert hopper formed as a one piece plastic component in a rotational molding operation.

  • Patent number: 9073077
Abstract: A spray gun (1) forms a desired spray pattern by atomizing by means of atomizing air (A) a spray liquid which is sprayed from a liquid ejection port (44) opened/closed by a needle valve (4), and jetting pattern air (P) to the flow of spray mist of the atomized spray liquid. A nozzle taper angle (?1) is set in a range of 5° to 15°, and a cap taper angle (?2) is set in a range of 20° to 40°. Atomizing air (A) is jetted from a nozzle insertion hole (58) toward the center of a nozzle (3). Pattern air (P) is jetted in a spreading suppressed region (R) wherein the flow of the spray mist does not spread over an area greater than or equal to a predetermined cross-sectional area, to the flow of spray mist, and as a result, the spray mist is more uniformly sprayed over a wide range.

  • Patent number: 8998104
Abstract: An injection valve includes an injector component having an injector body including a recess hydraulically coupled to a high-pressure circuit of a fluid, and a nozzle needle moveably disposed injector body recess for preventing fluid flow through at least one injection opening in a closed position, and otherwise for releasing the fluid flow; an actuator unit disposed in the injector body recess and having an actuator element disposed in an actuator housing including an end face at an axial end facing the injection opening, which end face is mechanically coupled to a stage implemented in the injector body via a ring element disposed axially between the end face and the stage. At least two radial through passages are disposed opposite each other in the ring element, designed for hydraulically coupling between a ring interior disposed within the ring element and a ring exterior disposed outside of the ring element.

  • Patent number: 8978996
Abstract: A dual input valve includes a valve stem having an air valve that includes a captured o-ring held in a circumferential groove. A catalyst valve ball abuts the valve stem. A housing has a catalyst input port in fluid communication with a catalyst valve seat, an air input port in fluid communication with a air valve seat, a mixing area in fluid communication with the catalyst valve seat and the air valve seat, and an output port in fluid connection with the mixing area. A spring urges the catalyst valve ball, and hence, the valve stem towards a closed position in which the air valve seats against the air valve seat blocking flow of a air from the air input port into the mixing chamber and the catalyst valve ball seats against the catalyst valve seat blocking flow of catalyst from the catalyst input port into the mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 8893987
Abstract: A drip irrigation pipe includes a drip emitter and a flap that is formed in the pipe wall by first and second grooves. The first groove is longer than the second groove and the flap remains connected to the pipe wall at two bridges. A pivot region of the flap extends between the two bridges and the flap is adapted to twist about the pivot region as liquid exits the pipe at the flap.
