Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Bidens plant named ‘Hafltufr’, characterized by its upright, outwardly spreading to somewhat trailing and mounding plant habit; vigorous growth habit; freely branching habit; freely flowering habit; long flowering period; inflorescences with ray florets with dark orange-colored centers and yellow to light yellow-colored apices and bright yellow-colored disc florets; and strong peduncles that hold the inflorescences above and beyond the foliar plane.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Phlox plant named ‘Duepliloimdebu’, characterized by its upright to outwardly spreading and mounding plant habit; medium in size; freely branching habit; freely and early flowering habit; and relatively large violet blue-colored flowers.
Abstract: A new and distinct Aeonium cultivar named ‘Fiesta’ is disclosed, characterized by a unique, stable, quadricolor variegation, displaying leaves of muted forest green, splashed with lime green, with rose red & burgundy blushing of the outer leaves of the rosette in high light environments, as well as during cooler winter temperatures. Additionally, the new cultivar ‘Fiesta’ is more easily and more rapidly propagated due to moderately fast, robust growth, enhancing production times. The new cultivar ‘Fiesta’ offsets freely at an early age, quickly forming attractive clumps, enhancing propagation intervals. The new variety is an Aeonium, part of the Crassulaceae complex that includes Aeonium, Echeveria, Pachyphytum, Graptopetalum, Sedum and others. Aeonium is a popular genus, typically produced as container plants for the patio or for use as landscape plants.
Abstract: A new cultivar of Caladium plant named ‘Poison Dart Frog’, that is characterized by its compact, medium-sized plant habit growing 30 to 60 cm in height, its sagittate-shaped leaves that are dark green overlaid with large reddish-pink blotches and sporadically with small white spots in color, it petioles that are dark green in color, its healthy root system, its ability to grow well in full sun where its leaves develop a reflective sheen, and its production of very large tubers as it ages.
Abstract: A new cultivar of Ilex plant named ‘Screen Play’, that is characterized by its well-branched, dense, upright plant habit with suitablity for use as a hedge or privacy screen, its vigourous growth habit with plants growing an average of 1.5 m per year in Georgia when young, its large leaves that emerge light green tinged with bronze in color and maturing to a deep green color, its leaves that are glossy and spineless with very finely serrated margins, its berries that ripen to a deep red color in early fall and persist on the plant through the winter, its cold tolerance; remaining evergreen in U.S.D.A Zone 7, and its ease of pollination by ambient pollen when grown in Georgia.
Abstract: A variety of maple tree which combines compact growth, dense branching, a narrow upright growth habit, glossy foliage, and bright fall color.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Viburnum plant named ‘SMNVCDD’, characterized by its compact, upright, mounding and outwardly spreading plant habit; vigorous growth habit; freely branching habit; large inflorescences with numerous white-colored flowers; and good container and garden performance.
Abstract: A new and distinct Ilex plant named ‘SMNIGAB17’, characterized by its compact, uniform and low mounding plant habit; freely branching habit; dense and bushy growth habit; small dark green-colored leaves; developing leaves greyed orange in color; and good garden performance and winter hardiness.
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of hybrid citrus tree, denominated ‘UFGlow’, bears fruit that ripen in mid October in north central Florida. The tree is evergreen, of medium size, and has a moderately vigorous and semi-spreading growth habit. Trees are self-fertile and bear heavy annual crops of early season fruit that ripen in the second half of October in Gainesville, Fla. Fruit are firm, juicy, sweet tasting, easy peeling, and seedless. Fruit are oblate with a slightly depressed stem end.
Abstract: A new cultivar of Camellia sasanqua named ‘Green 01-006’, that is characterized by its dense, low, spreading plant habit suitable for use as a ground cover, its semi-double flowers with ruffled petal margins that are bright pink-purple in color, its floriferous bloom habit, and its good resistance to root rot (Phytophora cinnamomi) and dieback (Glomerella cingulata).
Abstract: A new cultivar of Hydrangea macrophylla named ‘KLAHYFLA’ that is characterized by its inflorescence with sepals of the sterile flowers that open light pink with a light greenish white base and mature to light purple-pink, its sturdy stems that are dark purple-brown (near black) in color, and its free flowering habit with sturdy inflorescences.
Abstract: A new and distinct Aeonium cultivar named ‘Emerald Ice’ is disclosed, characterized by very even, concentric rosettes, comprised of an abundance of green leaves, colored marginally with creamy white, and arranged in an attractive, variegated geometric pattern. Further, the new cultivar ‘Emerald Ice’ freely offsets, enabling increased and faster propagation of the cultivar. In addition, the robust growth, in combination with the freely offsetting characteristic of the new cultivar ‘Emerald Ice’, results in the clusters at an early age, and enhances production intervals. The new variety is an Aeonium, part of the Crassulaceae complex that includes Aeonium, Echeveria, Graptopetalum, Sedum and others. Aeonium is a popular genus, typically produced as container plants for the patio or as landscape plants.
Abstract: A new and distinct Impatiens cultivar named ‘DHARSDPINK’ is disclosed, characterized by large pink flowers, well branched plant form and good sun resistance. The new variety is an Impatiens, normally produced as an outdoor garden or container plant.
