Abstract: A new fuchsia plant particularly distinguished by flowers having white petals and red-purple sepals, a compact, mounded, upright plant habit, and a freely-branching growth habit, is disclosed.
Abstract: A new and distinct Rosa damascena named ‘KASCT491-1’ is disclosed, characterized by light pink flowers of a larger size than typical. Plants are compact, floriferous and begin flowering early in the season. The new cultivar is a Rosa typically suited for ornamental container and landscape use.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Poinsettia plant named ‘PER1295’, characterized by its uniform, upright and mounded plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit; freely and upright branching habit; very dark green-colored leaves; early flowering response; large inflorescences with crimson-colored flower bracts; and good post-production longevity.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Gerbera plant named ‘Garheart’, characterized by its compact, broadly upright and uniformly mounding plant habit; dense and bushy appearance; numerous inflorescences with dark pink-colored ray florets; upright and strong scapes; and good garden performance and relatively tolerant to cold temperatures.
Abstract: A new and distinct Nemesia cultivar named ‘DNESUNSHIN’ is disclosed, characterized by abundant, long lasting yellow flowers. Flowers are self-cleaning and do not fade in color. Plants have a compact growth habit and tolerate high temperatures. The new variety is a Nemesia, normally produced as an outdoor garden or container plant.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Raspberry plant named ‘Pacific Starlet’ as described and shown herein. ‘Pacific Starlet’ provides very firm berries which detach easily from the receptacle and maintain bright non-darkening color in postharvest cold storage.
Abstract: A new cultivar of Hydrangea macrophylla plant named, ‘Little Echo’, that is characterized by its well branched, compact plant habit, its flexible young stems that mature into strong stems that remain upright, its reblooming flowering habit, blooming on both old and new wood, its large mophead type inflorescences that are made up of a large number of individual sterile flowers, its inflorescences that are pastel pink to medium blue in color depending on soil pH, and its small seedpods that produce numerous, fine, dust-like seeds.
Abstract: A new cultivar of Hydrangea macrophylla plant named, ‘HORTMAGRECLO’, that is characterized by its inflorescences with a flattened globular shape, its floriferous bloom habit, its sterile flowers with sepals are green in color when mature and become darker green as they age, and its strong stems.
Abstract: A new and distinct Floribunda rose plant is provided that forms abundantly and substantially continuously attractive cup-shaped semi-double blossoms that are orange suffused with pink and yellow in coloration. The growth habit is compact and bushy. Vigorous vegetation is formed. Such vegetation is ornamental dark green and bears a glossy aspect on the upper surface. The plant is well suited for providing attractive ornamentation in parks and gardens. The plant can be grown well in containers in view of its compact character, grows well on its own roots, and is well suited for growing in the relatively dry climate of the west coast of the United States. The blossoms commonly are displayed from spring to the time of frost.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Raspberry plant named ‘Pacific Gema’ as described and shown herein. ‘Pacific Gema’ provides balanced heavy crop loads on both primocanes and floricanes, large conic fruits that are flavorful and aromatic, high vigor and strong field tolerance to Raspberry Bushy Dwarf Virus (RBDV).
Abstract: ‘UFR-17’ is a new and distinct allotetraploid citrus rootstock for tree size control and improved disease resistance. ‘UFR-17’ has shown a positive reaction to Huanglongbing disease (HLB, or citrus greening disease) in multiple experimental field trials. Scion trees grafted on this rootstock show a reduced frequency of infection and reduced disease symptoms once infected as compared to commercial diploid rootstocks.
Abstract: A new, distinct Allium hybrid plant as shown and described, characterized by dark green foliage in combination with purple-violet flowers, on semi-sterile plants.
Abstract: A new and distinct Interspecific Geranium plant named ‘Pactioscar’, characterized by its upright and uniformly mounding plant habit; vigorous growth habit and rapid growth rate; freely basal branching habit; dark green-colored leaves; early and freely flowering habit; bright scarlet-colored semi-double flowers held above the foliar plane on strong peduncles; and good garden performance.
Abstract: A new and distinct Zonal Geranium plant named ‘Pacjul’, characterized by its upright and uniformly rounded plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit and rapid growth rate; freely basal branching habit; dark green-colored leaves with a faint zonation pattern; early and freely flowering habit; and bright scarlet-colored semi-double flowers held above the foliar plane on strong peduncles.
Abstract: A new and distinct Zonal Geranium plant named ‘Pacswibu’, characterized by its upright and uniformly rounded plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit; freely basal branching habit; dark green-colored leaves; early and freely flowering habit; and red and red purple-colored semi-double flowers held above the foliar plane on strong peduncles.
Abstract: A new and distinct Crassula cultivar named ‘Candy Cane’ is disclosed, characterized by an unusual, stable, tricolor variegation, comprised of white leaves, with marbling of mint green, accented by rose magenta margins. In addition, the new cultivar ‘Candy Cane’ branches as a young plant, and continues to rapidly branch, producing many terminal vegetative cuts that greatly enhance propagation of the cultivar in the commercial nursery. Additionally, the prolific branching quickly produces an attractive, fully branched that readily fills the production container, resulting in plants ready for sale at an earlier size, thereby reducing production times in the commercial nursery. The new variety is a Crassula, part of the Crassulaceae complex that includes Crassula, Crassula, Pachyphytum, Graptopelalum, Sedum and others. Crassula is a popular genus, typically produced as container plants or as landscape plants.
