Abstract: A duck decoy moving device consisting of a decoy pulling line attached to an encased spring which is anchored at one end. The decoy pulling line is pulled and released, extending and retracting the spring, giving the attached duck decoys a realistic movement on the surface of the water. This also gives the appearance of movement to the surrounding unattached duck decoys due to the movement produced on the surface of the water.
Abstract: A machine for automatically applying one or more bonding or sealing seams to the peripheral surface of a tank or vessel having a non-cylindrical cross section. More specifically the machine provides means for supporting and axially rotating a generally rectangular vessel having planar walls and connecting arcuate corners so that all of the peripheral surfaces of the vessel move under the sealing or bonding means at a constant rate of speed and at a fixed distance therefrom. The same is achieved by the use of gripper assemblies having a configuration corresponding to that of the vessel. Each gripper assembly includes a sprocket chain which corresponds to the configuration of the vessel. A sprocket wheel engages each chain to rotate the gripper assemblies and the vessel retained therebetween.

Abstract: A single tool, especially for use by gas welders, that combines a soapstone marker, a rotary spark igniter and a plurality of torch cleaning wires. The tool is of metal construction, of pencil-like shape, readily manually manipulable, and easily releasably carried in or on the clothing of a mechanic.
Abstract: A collet is described for use in die bonding of semiconductor dies which is comprised of a shank portion and a die holder portion which has triangular side walls and is open ended.
Abstract: An adjustable jig with curved surfaces comprising a plurality of rails arranged parallel to constitute a curved surface. The surface plate comprises a pedestal on which each of the rails rests. The height of the pedestal can be varied so as to modify a curvature of the curved surface. For this purpose, the jig comprises a device for lifting the rails and a device for shifting the pedestal.
Abstract: Parts (10) to receive a thin strip of solder are advanced along top surfaces of a pair of upwardly inclined channel plates (26, 27). Pressurized solder (31) is pumped between the plates to a precise head which projects as a meniscus (28) above the top surfaces of the channel members and is deposited on the advancing parts. The head of solder is maintained at a height to insure a partial flow of solder through a V-shaped trough (51). Any fluctuations in the height of head of solder is rapidly compensated by an increased or decreased flow of solder through the trough. A significant reservoir of solder is maintained between the channel plates so that the solder is held at a substantially constant temperature.
