Abstract: The disclosure includes embodiments of a semi-permanent hair extension apparatus and a method or installing the same. The semi-permanent hair extension apparatus can include a plurality of microbeads and a plurality of hair extension wefts. The plurality of microbeads can each include an opening for receiving a plurality of strands of human hair longitudinally therethrough, and a receiving component positioned thereon so as to releasably connect the microbead to a hair extension weft. Each of the plurality of hair extension wefts can include a plurality of strands of hair connected thereto and one or more fastening components positioned thereon and being complementary to each of the one or more receiving components so as to facilitate a removable connection therebetween. The method can include securing a plurality of microbeads to one or more strands of human hair at predetermined intervals and connecting extension wefts to each of the plurality of microbeads.

Abstract: A toenail trimmer is configured to aid elderly and flexibility-challenged individuals, and includes: a housing with an opening; a cutting member mounted within the housing with a portion proximate to the opening; a motor to drive the cutting member to remove a portion of a toenail inserted through the housing opening; and a shaft, with the housing positioned proximate to a first end of the shaft. The shaft includes a support member, such as a cuff, that is configured to releasably secure a first portion of the shaft to the user's upper arm, and an ergonomic handle portion configured for grasping by the user's hand. The ergonomic handle portion and the support member provide stable support for the toe nail trimmer at two positions with respect to the user's arm during use of the toe nail trimmer. The handle may cooperate with a base to provide support/guidance thereto.

Abstract: A hair extension comprising plurality of bands having hair wefts secured thereto with micro loops adhered between the plurality of bands for attachment to the wearer's native hair. A first band has a front side and a back side and an extension weft is attached to either the front side or the backside, or both. micro links are attached with adhesive. A second band has a front side and a back side and may also have an extension weft attached to either the front side or the back side or both. Micro links are secure to either the back side of the first band or the back side of the second band, or both. The back sides of the two bands are sandwiched together with the micro links therebetween and with the extension hair exposed either exteriorly or interiorly. Also provided is a micro link wrapped with a material on which extension hair is secured. The wearer's native hair is pulled through an inner annulus of the micro link, thus concealing the micro link from view.

The hair treatment method of the invention treats hair by: exposing a surface of the fiber structure member (5) of the hair treatment tool (1); and bringing the fiber structure member (5) into contact with hair, and in this state, moving the fiber structure member (5) in a direction of orientation of the hair.

Abstract: A hair waver system is presented. The system includes a top waver. The system also includes a bottom waver configured to mate with the top waver. The system further includes a plurality of connectors designed to connect the top waver with the bottom waver and structured to maintain hair designated to be styled between the top waver and the bottom waver during hair styling evolutions. The system also provides for hair styling without the need for hot irons or chemicals.
