Abstract: The present application includes an assembly having a head unit and a control unit. The head unit is worn on the head of a worker and is configured to induce a convective cooling effect upon the worker. The control unit is in communication with the head unit to permit the worker to operate and adjust the various functions of the head unit. The head unit includes a motorized fan which pulls air into a central cavity within the head unit and blows it through one or more ports. The ports provide multiple directions for routing the airflow. An optional sleeve may be used in combination with one of the ports to route airflow away from the head of the worker.

Abstract: A shirt has a collar stand attached to a shirt body. The collar stand comprises an inner piece and an outer piece, wherein at least one of the inner piece and the outer piece is formed from a self-fabric fused with a fusible substrate, and wherein the collar stand has stretch and recovery in at least two directions thereof.

Abstract: A sport glove with tightening inserts including a sport glove having a body portion and a banded cuff. A tab is attached to a left end of the cuff and is selectively foldable atop a front area of the cuff. A pair of inserts includes a female insert and a male insert. The female insert is disposed on the front area of the cuff, and the male insert is medially disposed on an interior surface of the tab. A plurality of gripping teeth is continuously disposed on the female insert, and a tension hook is disposed on a right side of the male insert. The tension hook is selectively engageable with each of the plurality of gripping teeth.

Abstract: A pair of socks is provided. The first sock defines a first toe end and a first upper end. The first sock includes an elastically deformable first aperture formed through the first sock proximate the first upper end. The second sock defines a second toe end and a second upper end. The second sock includes an elastically deformable second aperture formed through the second sock proximate the second upper end. When the first toe end of the first sock is drawn through the second aperture of the second sock and the second toe end of the second sock is drawn through the first aperture of the first sock the first and second socks are secured together.

Abstract: A helmet attachment system is usable to attach a mandible or face or mouth guard. The helmet attachment system also comprises a pair of attachment bases, each arranged on a side of the helmet near to an ear covering of the helmet. The attachment bases each include a metal base plate covered by an attached body block. Each attachment base provides provisions for attaching opposite ends of a mandible to the bases. The metal base plate includes hooks for engaging an edge of the helmet. A pair of strap assemblies is provided, each strap assembly connected to one attachment base. The strap assemblies extend rearward and are connected to the back rail by a buckle member on the end of each strap assembly. The back rail includes a pair of buckle member-receiving slots. The straps assemblies and the hooks provided on the attachment bases secure the attachment bases to the helmet.

Abstract: A thin athletic headband, tuque or knit cap has selective areas of extra padding and elastic bands extending around the ears at a position thereunder. The extra thickness or layering at the ear areas provides increased ear protection in cold and/or windy weather, while the elastic provides an area of increased headband tension below the ears to block sliding of the headwear upwardly out of the proper ear-covering position. This headwear can be used alone or under protective headgear, for example beneath a hockey helmet.

Abstract: An apparatus and system for facilitating breast milk pumping and breastfeeding in a discreet and comfortable manner. The apparatus including a bandeau provided within a covering shirt. The bandeau can include a pair of apertures corresponding in location to a wearer's nipples which provide access through the bandeau to the wearer's nipples for pumping purposes. Further, the bandeau and covering shirt being formed of a resilient material for exposing one or both breasts, or alternatively uncovering only the bandeau.

Abstract: A convertible garment and a method of converting a convertible garment is disclosed. A convertible garment includes a piece of fabric possessing a periphery, and a plurality of fasteners disposed on the piece of fabric along the periphery at substantially regular intervals. One of the plurality of fasteners is configured to fasten to each of the other fasteners to form armholes. The convertible garment is configured to adopt a first configuration in which the fasteners are not fastened to one another so that the convertible garment is wearable as a scarf. The convertible garment is configured to adopt a second configuration in which one of the plurality of fasteners is fastened to each of the other fasteners so that the convertible garment is wearable as a vest.

Abstract: Garments, garment systems, and methods of using garments and garments systems useful for warming and protecting the body, especially the upper body. A garment may be a sleeved partial undergarment accessory that may be worn under an outer garment and may be removed without requiring removal of the outer garment. A garment may include first and second tubular sleeves with a continuous front region extending between the sleeves and from a neck opening down to a torso opening, a continuous back region extending between the sleeves and from the neck opening down to the torso opening. The opening extends from and is continuous with a distal-most region of the proximal sleeve openings so that the front region and the back region do not connect to each other around the first and second sleeve openings.

Abstract: Ski goggles for a goggles wearer having: a frame with a first side facing the face and a second side facing away from the face during normal use; a nose bridge for resting on the wearer's nose; a lens having a first surface facing the face and a second surface facing away from the face during normal use; a pad connected to the frame and resting on the face during normal use; a strap holding the goggles on the head during normal use; a coupling arrangement adapted to releasably couple the lens to the frame. The coupling arrangement includes a first coupling point at a nose area of the first side and a second coupling point disposed around at least a portion of a perimeter of the first side. The coupling arrangement includes the nose bridge. The bridge is releasably coupleable to the frame and provides the first coupling point.

Abstract: The invention provides various embodiments of a soft shell padded helmet comprising a plurality of pads, wherein each pad is configured in a multi-layer configuration. The different embodiments comprise elements to provide a padded helmet that is light-weight and adapted to reduce the risk of head trauma due to the multi-layered padded configuration. The padded helmet comprises a top portion and a side portion, wherein the top portion is coupled to the side portion and each of the top and side portions comprise a plurality of pads.

Abstract: A lower leg guard device is disclosed allowing a full range of ankle motion, while at the same time preventing impact injuries to the lower leg, including the Achilles area, the ankle, and the shin. The lower leg guard device includes two substantially rigid exterior shells each with a cushioned interior liner. The lower leg guard device can be securely attached to the lower leg with one or more attachment straps, and with at least one floating attachment pad that attaches to the wearer's footwear. A floating attachment pad can be positioned over both the inner side and outer side of the ankle, preferably attached to footwear that covers the ankle. The floating attachment pads are attached to the footwear using removable fasteners, located on the exterior surface of the footwear worn by the wearer, so that the guard device can be quickly and easily put on and removed.

The first and second panels each have a rectangular protrusion or lip extending from a bottom edge. The third panel includes slots for housing the first panel and the second panel. The third panel further includes snapping straps for securing the first and second panels in the slots when the protective collapsible shield is in a retracted state. The third panel further includes multiple locking mechanisms. Each of the locking mechanisms includes a cylindrical rod, a handle fastened to the cylindrical rod and a housing for receiving the cylindrical rod. The locking mechanisms engage with the first and second rectangular protrusions to secure the first and second panels in the slots when the protective collapsible shield is in an extended state.

Abstract: An article of apparel convertible to a sleeping bag is comprised of a jacket having a body portion and a pair of detachable sleeves removably secured to respective shoulder portions of the portion by attachments. The body portion has an extendable waist section. The detachable sleeves have an elongated detachable closure extending longitudinally thereof to deploy the sleeve lengthwise whereby the pair of sleeves can be interconnected together to form a tubular leg pouch. The sleeves also have gussets extending from wrist bands thereof to expand when deployed. The top attachment zippers of the sleeves permit attachment of the tubular leg pouch to zipper fasteners in a lower edge of the extendable waist portion to form the sleeping bag.

Abstract: A phallus retention garment, such as a lower body underwear garment, with localized stabilization of a retained prosthetic phallus in relation to an underwear structure. A crotch portion with a phallus retention aperture can form a phallus retaining portion. The underwear structure has a body portion, a waistband secured to the body portion, and first and second leg openings formed in the body portion, all of which could be resiliently stretchable as could be the phallus retention aperture. One or more panels of substantially non-stretch or inelastic material can partially or completely surround the phallus retention aperture to provide localized stabilization. The garment structure can be formed with one or more layers of elastic material, and at least one layer of substantially inelastic material forming the stabilization portion can be fixed to the layer of elastic material adjacent to the phallus retention aperture, such as by stitching in a pattern.

Abstract: A leg handle with preferably hollow cylindrical sections is used to aid in lifting a jumping player, especially for lineouts in World Rugby. The handles are preferably made of one or more foam sausages attached to a thin stretch fabric sleeve which is placed the leg of the jumper and when jumping allow for secure grasp by lifters. To use, leg handles are applied to one or more legs of a jumper and held in place with tape. When the jumper jumps, one or more lifters place their hands against the leg handle. The lifters lift the jumper higher, support the jumper in the jump while the jumper attempts to intercept a ball, and safely lower the jumper. Leg handles comprising cylindrical sections are embodied with a single sausage; a lower front sausage and a higher back sausage; or as a pair of such sausages integrated into respective legs of a pair of compression shorts.
