Abstract: A peripheral device, e.g., a headphone, connected to a communication device may have controls that are configured to switch between a regular mode and a purchase mode. When in the purchase mode, the controls of the peripheral device may be configured to facilitate purchase by receiving user input related to making a purchase. The peripheral or the communication device may be configured to receive user instructions, such as a voice command, to switch between the regular mode and the purchase mode. In particular, the controls may include volume buttons configured to adjust volume in the regular mode and configured to adjust purchase price in purchase mode. The controls also may include a start/end button configured to selectively activate or end an application in the regular mode and configured to confirm or select a purchase in the purchase mode.

Abstract: A computer system is provided that includes a paired list of data transaction requests on which a matching process is performed. There are multiple different types of data transaction requests that are stored in the paired list including data transaction requests with midpoint attributes and data transaction requests with discretion attributes. The computer system may determine how the multiple different types of data transaction requests may be match against each other. Two matching processes can be used to determine if a match exists between the first and second sides of the paired list. Matches that are determined at private values are not disseminated to third-parties via public market data feeds.

Abstract: Processing of vehicle inventory information is described that allows vehicles that satisfy financial institution's financing requirements, as well as a purchaser's requirements are described. The inventory information is processed to determining eligible vehicles that meet the purchaser's requirements. The financial requirements are determined from financial booking information that describes how a financial institution determines the financing for vehicles providing a list of vehicles which can be financed by a financial institution while meeting the purchaser's requirements.

In an embodiment, the disclosure provides computers programmed to implement a networked, online platform for facilitating collaboration between content creators. In an example embodiment, the platform provides a system for recommending a collaborator for a particular content creator to create content with, of a specific content type. In another example embodiment, the platform provides a system for recommending a collaborator for a particular content creator to create content with, without restricting the content type, using a community detection algorithm. In embodiments, recommendations may be made partly based on centrality measures of creator nodes on a network graph programmatically calculated between content nodes of that network graph, or content nodes of a community detected in the network graph.

Abstract: A componentized order entry and editing system and method is provided. The functionality of an order model is divided in components each of which execute their own rules independently. A data model is maintained in the form of a set of ledgers, and each ledger includes a complete history of additions and removals from the ledger associated with an order. The current state of the order is obtained by collapsing information in the ledgers. The rules of the components can be triggered in various ways, including user input, workflow, changes to one or more ledgers, and change to collapsed state.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for generating new product offerings for display in which products are decoupled into components and the components are weighted based on user-specific preferences and market trends. The weighted components are then recompiled into new product offerings based on a probabilistic selection. Each component may be associated with related or otherwise applicable components and these associated components may also be incorporated into a new product offering for display during the probabilistic selection process. The selection and display process may also be tailored to specific users by adjusting weights based on preferences of those specific users.

A sum of the pairwise scores by activity type for a plurality of activity types may be determined, and the pairwise scores for the plurality of activity types may be summed. A sorted list of items that compliment an anchor item of the electronic catalog may be generated. Items from the generated sorted list may be filtered, and an item ranking in the filtered list may adjusted. Consistency between recommendations of the items in the adjusted ranking list may be determined, final recommendations of the items based on the determined consistency between recommendations may be selected and transmitted for display.
