Abstract: In order to improve a surgical screw container comprising a receiving part and a closure part mounted thereon so as to be movable, wherein the receiving part has at least two screw receptacles for accommodating at least two bone screws, wherein the closure part can be brought relative to the receiving part into at least one closure position, in which none of the screw receptacles is accessible for the introduction or removal of a bone screw, such that any loss of screws from the screw container can be practically ruled out it is suggested that the closure part can be brought from the at least one closure position into at least two removal positions, in each of which only a single screw receptacle is accessible for the introduction or removal of a single bone screw.

Abstract: The container of this invention may have a plurality of slots formed proximate an upper perimeter of the container such that a lower portion of the slots is exposed when a lid is secured over the upper perimeter. Optionally a plurality of notches may be formed in the container below the slots. Hooks of tie down straps engage the slots and are held in place therein by the lid. When the slots are present hooks of tie down straps are secured in the slots. Another embodiment includes a hanger having a handle and an optional L-piece, the handle having apertures or notches, which can be, for example oval or rectangular, for securing both hooks of a tie down strap, the L-piece either attachable, or permanently attached, to the handle for further securing the hooks disposed in the apertures. Yet another embodiment includes a receptacle having an attachable or permanently attached bracket or plurality of brackets, each bracket having slots, each slot for storing both hooks of a tie down strap.

Abstract: A carrier includes multiple rows of container receptacles on each side of a central handle. The bottom of the carrier is reinforced with web panels. The container receptacles can be separated by longitudinal and transverse separator panels. The top edge of the longitudinal separator panel can be curved to facilitate erection of the carrier.

Abstract: A device for emptying a mail item container that is open at the top and serves for transporting mail items. The mail item container has sidewalls and a container underside. The device has a lifting device for moving the mail items relative to the sidewalls. In order to enable postal articles, such as, for example, letter mail items, to be emptied from a mail item container in an ergonomically favorable and efficient manner without adversely affecting its mechanical stability to too great an extent, it is proposed that the lifting device is provided for passing through the underside of the container.

Abstract: There is disclosed a portable gum container, comprising a body. The body has a chewing gum holder, a sheet material dispenser, and a waste receptacle. The chewing gum holder is for holding chewing gum. The sheet material dispenser is for dispensing sheet material sized and shaped for wrapping about a piece of spent chewing gum. The waste receptacle is sized and shaped to contain the wrapped spent piece of chewing gum. Also disclosed is a portable gum container, comprising a body having a chewing gum holder, a waste receptacle and at least one piece of sheet material associated with the body for wrapping about a piece of spent chewing gum.

Abstract: A stacking unit (1) for storing bottles, cans or other articles (7) having circular cross sections comprises a strip (2) of sheet material formed along one side of the strip with at least three part circular cavities (6). The free end walls (5) of the cavities (6) at opposite ends of the strip (2) are of sufficient rigidity to retain the articles in place in the unit under the weight of other articles stacked on the row in the unit. The cavities respectively forming convex wall portions (4) on the opposite side of the strip (2). The stacking unit (1) can be seated on a first row of articles in order to stack a second row of articles on the first row.

Abstract: In accordance with the invention, a method of manufacturing containers such as shipping, display and display ready packaging, for example, and resulting containers and associated preassemblies and blanks are provided, which, when utilized, result in preassemblies that are more easily and quickly assembled into fully assembled containers including a plurality of stacking shoulder provided at opposing ends of the containers.

Abstract: A container has a base panel, at least one side panel extending upwardly from the base panel, and at least one end panel extending upwardly from the base panel. At least one corner is formed at a junction between the side panel and end panel. A flange extends laterally outward from the upper edges of at least one of the side panel, end panel, and corner. An injection-molded structure extends along at least a portion of the flange, the injection-molded structure includes a base portion adjacent the upper edges of the side wall and the end wall, a distal portion extending laterally outward from the base portion, and an indentation in the distal portion extending along at least a portion of the flange of the container. An apparatus for forming the container and a method of manufacturing are also disclosed.

Abstract: A multi-layered blister package includes a first panel having at least one first aperture defined therein, wherein a blister pocket is visible through the at least one first aperture and retains an article therein. A second panel has at least one exit aperture defined therein by a first non-continuous cut line, wherein the at least one exit aperture aligns with the at least one first aperture when the first panel is disposed over the second panel. A first fold line separates the first and second panels. A biasing force transmitting member is provided with the first panel, such that a biasing force is applied to the blister pocket via the biasing force transmitting member. The biasing force transmitting member includes at least one of a plurality of spring legs encompassing the at least one first aperture and a shield member disposed between the first panel and the blister pocket.

Abstract: A packaging system is disclosed for shipping a prosthetic tissue valve in a storage solution and preparing and loading of the bioprosthetic valve onto a catheter-based delivery system. The packaging system includes a fluid tight container filled with the storage solution attached to a delivery catheter, wherein the container surrounds the prosthetic tissue valve that is in a pre-loaded position on the delivery catheter during shipment and storage. The prosthetic tissue valve may include an attachment mechanism that attaches to the delivery catheter to properly position the tissue valve for loading within the delivery catheter. In another embodiment where the prosthetic tissue valve is not attached to the delivery catheter during shipment, the attachment mechanism may interact with the prosthetic tissue valve shipping container to prevent the bioprosthetic valve from moving during shipment.

Abstract: A reversible modular beverage can interlocking device which is adapted for forming a plurality of conventional beverage cans into a building block for use as a toy or in display applications or in building construction. The device generally comprises a plurality of thermoplastic reversible annular means for can retention, each sized and shaped for the releasable retention of either the top lipped portion of a beverage can, or the bottom non-lipped portion of a beverage can.

Abstract: A toilet utensil holder for holding toilet utensils such as a toilet brush and a plunger is shaped as a ship. The holder has a base section forming a hull of the ship, with basins for receiving the utensils, and in a preferred embodiment covers are pivoted to the base section for covering an operative end of the utensils and forming a superstructure of the ship. Handles of the utensils extend above the base portion, and in the preferred embodiment above the covers, and simulate masts or other parts of a ship. A handle may be affixed to the holder to lift and carry it.

Abstract: The toothbrush holder apparatus houses toothbrushes under a removable cover, with each toothbrush further housed within an individual compartment, under individual cover. Push button access is provided for each separate toothbrush. Pushing a given color-coded button causes the toothbrush within the related compartment to push upwardly against and open the hinged door above the compartment, thereby gaining access to the toothbrush within. Separate housing of each toothbrush prevents bacterial transfer from one brush to another. Particular attention is paid to the design of the toothbrush holder apparatus that results in an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The color coding provided for each toothbrush compartment further enhances entertainment while also providing instant identification of a toothbrush held within.

Abstract: A bathroom tool holding device includes a hollow body with an opening, a bearing member installed on the body to hold a toilet cleaning brush, a bottom cover joined to a bottom of the body, and a lid with a base; the bottom cover has a middle cavity, in which a pivotal shaft component is inserted; the lid is held in the body, and can be rotated to a closed position to shut the opening of the body at a curved covering half part thereof; the lid can be rotated to an open position so that a plunger can be placed in and taken out of the body; the base is pivoted on the pivotal shaft component for smooth rotation of the lid; the base is biased to come into close touch with the body with an elastic element, and in turn there is no aperture in between.

Abstract: A multifunctional cover device with a detachable PDA device includes a front cover, a back cover, and at least one rotatable accessory panel connected to the front cover at one side for holding the PDA device and a lighting lamp. The accessory panel is mounted at a concave surface of the front cover when it is folded and at this time, the lamp and the PDA device are aligned with the windows of the front cover. When the accessory board is rotated through 180 degrees from the concave surface of the front cover, it forms an extending front cover panel. According to another structure, the accessory board is slidably mounted in the hollow front cover. Therefore, the user is able to use the PDA device while reading and writing with illumination and sound by playing the PDA device.

Abstract: A container packing filler includes an annular roll portion formed by folding one of axially opposite end portions of a stretchable tubular net radially outward and rolling the net toward the other end portion of the net, and a rigid holder portion provided at the other end portion of the net. The holder portion has sufficient axial length and a width greater than the diameter of a center hole of the annular roll portion so that, when the holder portion of the packing filler is squeezed into the center hole of the annular roll portion, the annular roll portion is expanded from the inside thereof by the holder portion and layers of the annular roll portion are unitarily rolled inward.

The combination of base and enclosing pieces supporting the article at a height above a base surface.

Abstract: An anti-theft display case for manufactured products; in particular, display cases that can be opened and re-closed to contain the product to be displayed and provided with means of maintaining the case closed up to completion of sale, so as to prevent the unauthorized removal of the product. The anti-theft display case is provided with at least one first portion and one second portion, one mobile in relation to the other between an open and a closed position, and a means of locking said portions in the said closed position. The second portion is formed from at least two pieces bound one to the other and mobile one in relation to the other telescopically to increase the volume of the display case.

Abstract: A container for a plurality of discs, comprising a containment body which defines at least one recess for accommodating at least two discs, the recess defining a first region for accommodating at least one first disc and at least one second region for accommodating at least one second disc which is arranged at a higher level than the first region, elements for the central retention of each of the discs being further provided in order to retain them detachably in the recess, the elements for the central retention of the second disc being arranged at the upper level and being superimposed on and spaced from at least one peripheral portion of the first region for accommodating the first disc.
