  • Patent number: 11978046
Abstract: Users of a communication system can initiate electronic payments during a communication session hosted by the communication system or via a social network identity page hosted by the communication system. The communication system detects a payment signal from a user of the communication system and the collects payment information details either by displaying a payment object interface in a communication application of the user or receiving payment information input directly from the user's communication device. The payment information includes sender and recipient payment account identifiers that are communicated to a payment processing system for processing and delivery of the designated payment amount to the recipient.

  • Patent number: 11972484
Abstract: A specialized computer matching system programmed to match orders for financial instruments of any type; where orders are matched at a price equal to the best available price or within the best available prices in the market; where priority of matching orders is ranked by price; where orders at the same price may be further ranked based on other attributes; where orders may optionally specify that the order sender is willing to pay a fee to (or receive a rebate by) an Order Matching Entity (i.e., a fee/rebate contingency (FRC)); where an order's optional FRC must be met in order to match the order; and where an order which cannot be matched solely because its FRC rate prevents it from matching with another order temporarily yields priority—other than price priority—to other orders ranked below to permit those orders to be matched.

  • Patent number: 11900452
Abstract: A secured credit provider computing system is provided. The system includes a network interface configured to communicate data over a network and a processing circuit including one or more processors coupled to non-transitory memory. The processing circuit is configured to receive, from a user computing device, an application for secured credit; generate a passcode corresponding to the application and transmit the passcode to the user computing device; receive the passcode from an automated teller machine (ATM) of a second provider; responsive to identifying the application based on the passcode, transmit, to the ATM for display, a collateral request for the application; receive, from the ATM, a message acknowledging a collateral deposit; determine that the collateral deposit satisfies the collateral request for the identified application; and transmit, to the user computing device or to the ATM, a notification indicating that the application has been approved.

  • Patent number: 11861729
Abstract: A shared ledger operated by a group of network participants according to a set of consensus rules manages and resolves subrogation claims between a clamant and a defendant with arbitration. Evidence regarding the value of the subrogation claim is sent to the shared ledger by the parties to the subrogation claim such as sending data to a smart contract deployed on the shared ledger. The parties to the subrogation claim or entities that are not parties to the subrogation claim may broadcast data relating to fault to the blockchain. The data relating to fault may be evaluated by the parties or entities acting on the parties' behalf to determine fault. A fault determination may be broadcast to the blockchain based upon the analysis of the data relating to fault. Once the claim is resolved, arbitrator may release funds on the chain to the prevailing party or may accept confirmation that any payments have been made between the parties off-chain.

  • Patent number: 11861695
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for reconciling a transaction against data in a database to identify the transaction parameters based on text descriptors provided for the transaction. One method includes an operation for identifying features for reconciling transactions of a first entity by a machine-learning program. The features include, at least, a description of the transaction, a name of a second entity in the transaction, a location of the second entity, and an account for the transaction. The machine-learning program is trained with training data that includes values of the features for previously reconciled transactions. A received first transaction includes a description, a date, and an amount. The first transaction is input for the machine-learning program, which generates one or more suggestions for reconciling the first transaction. Each suggestion includes the name of the second entity in the first transaction and an account.

  • Patent number: 11842399
Abstract: A system for managing trading orders comprises a memory operable to store an order associated with a first price. The system further comprises a processor communicatively couple to the memory and operable to identify a latency value. The processor is further operable to receive a counterorder and to identify a potential trade associated with the order and the counterorder, the potential trade based at least in part on the first price. If the latency value satisfies a configurable condition, the processor is further operable to initiate a configurable period of time. If the potential trade is not valid upon expiration of the configurable period, the processor is further operable to prevent the execution of the potential trade.
