  • Patent number: 11073225
Abstract: Valve system with rotary stepping actuator to actuate a valve stem. An actuator drive shaft supported for stepwise rotation imparts rotation to a valve stem nut to axially move a valve stem to open and close valve flow trim. The drive shaft forms peripheral first and second slotted circular drive paths co-axially spaced from each other. Actuation assemblies releasably engage forward or reverse ratchet pawls in a drive shaft slot to incrementally rotate the drive shaft in forward or reverse steps. One or both of the forward and reverse ratchet pawls is one of a plurality of ratchet pawls, such that each forward or reverse step by one of the plurality of ratchet pawls incrementally rotates the drive shaft through a partial forward or reverse step which is a fraction of a predetermined angular increment set by the slot spacing.

  • Patent number: 11060724
Abstract: A gas appliance includes a burner, a gas valve, and a control device, wherein the gas valve includes a valve body, a flow regulator, a hot film anemometer, and a stepper motor. The valve body communicates with the burner and a gas source. The flow regulator is driven by the stepper motor to change a gas flow rate supplying to the burner. The hot film anemometer is disposed in the valve body and includes a probe exposed to the outlet passage. The control device executes a control method for the gas valve: sensing the gas flow rate in the outlet passage with the hot film anemometer; comparing the gas flow rate sensed by the hot film anemometer with a predetermined gas flow rate, and controlling the stepper motor to drive the flow regulator based on the comparison result, whereby to stabilize the gas flow rate.

  • Patent number: 11022234
Abstract: An automatically resettable press-type switching valve includes a valve housing, an operating portion, a driven rod, a water blocking member, and a resetting member. The valve housing is formed therein with an inlet and outlet passages. A water blocking seat is provided between the inlet and outlet passages. The operating portion drives the driven rod to move axially so as to form a forward pressure difference or reverse pressure difference between two opposing sides of the water blocking member, by which the water blocking member is pushed to move axially with the driven rod. The resetting member is drivingly connected with the water blocking member, when there is no water pressure at a side of the inlet passage, the resetting member drives the water blocking member to separate from the water blocking seat, and the inlet passage is communicated with the outlet passage.
