  • Patent number: 11224925
Abstract: Cutting devices and associated methods are described. In one aspect, a cutting device includes an annular support body defining an axial space into which a pipe to be cut can be inserted, the body formed of a rigid material and including a blade-bearing portion and a non-blade-bearing portion, wherein the blade-bearing portion is secured to the non-blade-bearing portion by a hinge mechanism allowing the two portions to be movable between an open position in which a pipe can be inserted, and a closed position in which the pipe is engaged by the body, wherein a part of the blade-bearing portion spaced from the hinge mechanism includes a blade that protrudes radially inwards of the body, such that in use the urging of the two portions towards the closed position urges the pipe against the blade so that rotation of the cutting device around the pipe cuts the pipe.

  • Patent number: 11207794
Abstract: Cards may be manufactured in a lamination process, such that interior portions of the cards may be visible. Punch alignment queues within the card may be scanned by a punch machine and rendered onto a display of the punch machine. The punch alignment queues may be aligned with targets also rendered onto the display so that the card may be properly aligned within a punch machine to prepare the card for a trimming process. A Venturi system may temporarily adhere the card to a punch of the punch machine while the punch is engaged with a die to trim the card. The cutting surface of the die may be offset with respect to a surface of the punch, so that the card may be sequentially trimmed along a perimeter of the card.

  • Patent number: 11203129
Abstract: A food slicer assembly includes a housing defining a first opening and a second opening perpendicularly arranged. A slicing blade received at the second opening enters the first opening of the housing. A coupling releasably couples a food product or a food product packaging to the housing. The first opening receives a food product therethrough, the second opening receives the slicing blade therethrough, and the slicing blade slices the food product arranged in the first opening such that the food product is divided into multiple portions using the food slicer assembly. The slicing blade may pass into the first opening from a first end, and upon reaching the second end, the slicing blade seals the food slicer assembly at the first opening. The assembly may be a cheese slicer assembly for slicing a block of cheese so that a slice of cheese can be removed from the first opening.
