  • Patent number: 10741089
Abstract: This invention is an apparatus and a method for language training and general entertainment and role-playing. It employs a digital processing system plays back audio or audio-visual program material, using special software to selectively direct the audio of this playback through the system's speakers or a headset, with the user taking the headset audio—in particular speech—as a model and prompt to repeat this speech. The user plays the role of the speaker in the program material, and the software further permits the user to record, in audio or audio-video, her dubbing efforts along with the program material, producing a version of the program material with the user's voice recorded in place of, or in conjunction with, the voice of a character in the program material. The user's recorded performance can also be overlaid onto the original program material.

  • Patent number: 10733907
Abstract: A braille display, belonging to the technical field of blind people reading devices, uses a memory alloy material to realize recessing and protruding of a braille point array of the braille display. The braille display is mainly composed of any number of braille recessing-protruding dot arrays, each of which includes several individual point locations, an outer frame and signal boards. Each of the individual dots comprises upper and lower telescoping members, an upper conductive connecting member, an intermediate conductive connecting member, a lower conductive connecting member, external sleeve locks and guide rods. The recessing-protruding change of braille points is realized through specific connection of various specific components. By using the braille display, the endurance capability is improved, and the cost is reduced. Moreover, since the braille display has a relatively small volume, the braille display can be applied to a mobile portable device or a wearable device.
