  • Patent number: 10373550
Abstract: A light emitting device that achieves long life, and which is capable of performing high duty drive, by suppressing initial light emitting element deterioration is provided. Reverse bias application to an EL element (109) is performed one row at a time by forming a reverse bias electric power source line (112) and a reverse bias TFT (108). Reverse bias application can therefore be performed in synchronous with operations for write-in of an image signal, light emission, erasure, and the like. Reverse bias application therefore becomes possible while maintaining a duty equivalent to that of a conventional driving method.

  • Patent number: 10319344
Abstract: A system consisting of a plurality of terminals storing image data and an image displaying device which are connected with each other through a network capable of two-way communication has the disadvantage of decreasing in throughput on account of slow image data transfer over the network. The image displaying device performs two-way communications with each of the terminals by a communication means at the display device side. Also, the image displaying device acquires image data from a relevant terminal while instructing other terminals to suspend transmission by the image data acquisition controlling means, thereby suspending transmission of image data. The image displaying device displays images by the image displaying means based on the thus acquired image data.

  • Patent number: 10303359
Abstract: A character input device that sets a keyboard image and an input character display area on a touch panel, the keyboard image including a plurality of character keys and that receives operation on the keyboard image. The character input device identifies a subregion including a touch detection point from among subregions set based on the defining information relating a character key detected to be touched, and sets a plurality of discriminating regions so that the discriminating regions are distributed based on the identified subregion. Each of the plurality of discriminating regions corresponds to the plurality of characters assigned to the character key. When a touch release is detected, a character that corresponds to the discriminating region including the detection point of the touch release is selected as an input character.
