  • Patent number: 11867299
Abstract: A flow path switching valve is used in an engine water cooling system mounted on a mounting surface of an engine, and switches a flow path of a cooling water in the engine water cooling system. The engine water cooling system has a block jacket formed on a cylinder block and a head jacket formed on a cylinder head, connected to each other via a communication passage. The cooling water flowing in from an inlet of the block jacket flows into an inlet port of the flow path switching valve from an outlet of the head jacket via the communication passage. An inflow barrier plate is provided, which closes a part of a leak path side of the inlet port to suppress an inflow of the cooling water from the block jacket via a leak path made in the cylinder block and the cylinder head.

  • Patent number: 11839903
Abstract: A vacuum pumping system which comprises a plurality of vacuum pumping arrangements for evacuating a flammable gas stream and exhausting the gas stream through an exhaust outlet. A housing houses the vacuum pumping arrangements and forms an air flow duct for an air flow for mixing with the exhaust gas stream output from the exhaust outlet in a mixing region in the housing. An airflow generator generates an air flow through the air flow duct to cause mixing of air with the flammable gas stream to a percentage of the flammable gas in the air flow lower than the lower flammability limit of the flammable gas. An airflow sensor senses the flow of air for determining if the air flow is sufficient to dilute the flammable gas to lower than said percentage.

  • Patent number: 11834818
Abstract: A universal drainpipe interfacing with overflow and non-overflow drains having a drainpipe, sink, and drain system. The drainpipe has a closed configuration and an overflow configuration. The drainpipe has a side wall. The side wall has two overflow assemblies, each having a preset channel and a punch-out stamp. If a predetermined amount of force were to be applied, the preset channel and punch-out stamp break away to expose overflow openings in which the sink overflow system can interface with. If the drain were to be installed in a sink without a sink overflow system, the preset channels and punch-out stamps, that are integrated part of the side wall, would not be removed, leaving the side wall sealed. This drain would be able to interface with both overflow and non-overflow drains without the need for additional tools or expertise.
