  • Patent number: 7946326
Abstract: An automatic sheet laminating apparatus includes a first sheet input tray, a second sheet input tray, a plurality of transfer roller assemblies, a separating roller assembly, a braking sensor, a braking element, a laminating module, and a control unit. The first sheet input tray is used for placing a pouch including a first film and a second film. The second sheet input tray is used for placing a sheet article. The separating roller assembly includes a separating driving roller and a separating follower roller. When the pouch is detected by the braking sensor, the braking element stops rotation of the separating follower roller. After a first predetermined time period, the separating follower roller is rotated again. As such, the rear ends of the first film and the second film are separated from each other, so that the sheet article could be inserted between the first film and the second film.

  • Patent number: 7922852
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for affixing a supplementary product (22) to a printed product (36). According to the invention, in order to pick up the supplementary product (22), holding elements (12) driven along a circulation path (26) have at least one suction element (24, 25). In order to bend the initially flat supplementary product (22) in such a way that it can be placed around an edge (36c) of the printed product (36), there is at least one bending element (18). This is capable of acting on the supplementary product (22) held on one side by the suction element (24, 25) in such a way that the said supplementary product (22) is bent at least approximately in a V shape.
