Abstract: An information management system provided with a plurality of external devices able to send and receive information and a server configured to be able to communicate with the external devices. The external devices are configured to send to the server the amounts of CO2 recovery recovered by the vehicles provided with the CO2 recovery devices. The server is configured to add up and manage the amounts of CO2 recovery sent from the external device.

Abstract: Techniques, methods, and systems for managing a set of data network nodes in a Network Management System (NMS). In some examples, a method may include receiving, at the network orchestrator, a service invocation for a service transaction associated with a transaction object; storing, by the network orchestrator, service metadata as part of the transaction object; determining whether there is a service metadata conflict associated with the transaction object; and in response to determining that there is the service metadata conflict associated with the transaction object, retrying the service transaction; or in response to determining that there is no service metadata conflict associated with the transaction object, applying the service metadata to one or more nodes of the set of data nodes.

Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods of allocating cloud resources for application deployments. A resource allocator may identify a first metric indicating usage of cloud resources by clients in a first release environment for an application update. The resource allocator may generate, using the first metric, a resource capacity model for predicting usage of the cloud resources by clients in a second release environment for the application update. The resource allocator may determine, using the resource capacity model, a metric predicting the usage of the cloud resources by the clients in the second release environment. The resource allocator may generate instructions to set an allocation of the cloud computing resources for performing deployment of the application update to the second release environment based on the second metric.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for voice calling with a connected device that does not include a SIM card or telephone port. Outgoing audio data may be received at an embedded browser running on a connected device, may be sent using Web Real Time Communications (WebRTC) from the embedded browser to an integration layer running within the embedded browser, and may be sent from the integration layer to a border controller for a voice call carrier over a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) connection according to Secure Real Time Transport Protocol (SRTP). Incoming audio data may be received at the integration layer from the border controller for the voice call carrier over the SIP connection according to SRTP, may be sent using WebRTC from the integration layer to the embedded browser, and may be sent from the embedded browser to an audio output of the connected device which may output audio.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate generally to data science and data analysis, computer software and systems, and wired and wireless network communications to interface among repositories of disparate datasets and computing machine-based entities configured to access datasets, and, more specifically, to a computing and data storage platform configured to provide one or more computerized tools that facilitate development and management of data projects, including implementation of extended computerized query language syntax to analyze, for example, multiple tabular data arrangements in data-driven collaborative projects. For example, a method may include generating data to present a query editor in a data project interface, receiving data representing a first query command to select one or more subsets of data, identifying in the data representing a second query command a subset of datasets from which to extract the data, and applying a query based on a first query command and a second query command.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to processing operations that assess the impact of data invalidations and manage remediation of the data invalidations based on results of an assessment of the impact of the data invalidation on operation of an application/service. Identified data invalidations may be aggregated and analyzed. In one non-limiting example, types of data invalidations are aggregated over a temporal count to identify recent data invalidations. Analysis of aggregated types of data invalidations comprises evaluating an intensity of the types of data invalidations identified within the temporal count. Identified data invalidations may be ranked based on intensity analysis identifying impact on presentation of content through an application/service during the temporal count. Remediation of data invalidations may be managed based on the ranking processing.

Abstract: The methods and systems described herein leveraging acoustic features of a user to generate and present a personalized content to a user. In one example, the method receives a voice query and determines that the query refers to either a first content item or a second content item. The first content item is associated with a first type assigned with a first score and the second content item is associated with a second entity type assigned with a second score. The method also determines whether the query is from the second entity type. The method ranks the first and the second content items based on this determination and generates for presentation of the first and the second content items based on the ranking. The method also changes the first or the second scores based on this determination and selects one of the first or the second content item for presentation.

Abstract: A method of populating a data set includes generating a plurality of models that model the behavior of an agent process, where the plurality of models includes a first model, a second model, and a third model. The method also includes using the plurality of models to generate one or more requests for one or more external data sources, and using the plurality of models to select a plurality of queries from a data store of predefined queries. The plurality of queries are selected by the plurality of models to request information that is missing from the data set. The method also includes populating at least a portion of the data set using information received in response to the one or more requests for the one or more external data sources and the plurality of queries.

Abstract: The method includes compressing numbers of reads data for targeted genes of a gene expression assay performed on a test sample. The targeted genes are organized into categories. Each category represents a functional context associated with the targeted genes in that category. The numbers of reads corresponding to targeted genes each category is compressed to form a compressed value for the category. The compressed value is compared to a baseline value for the category to determine an enrichment or a loss of a signature corresponding to the functional context of the category. The method may include analyzing information from multiple assays performed on the test sample, assigning a score value to each assay result and predicting a response to immune-oncology treatment based on the assigned scores.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining delay data for respective network delays through a communication network from respective gaming stations to a gaming provider database for implementing a multi-user online video game, determining available cloud nodes in a potential path in the communication network between a respective gaming station and the gaming provider database, determining potential network configurations for data communication between the respective gaming stations and the gaming provider database using the available cloud nodes and available communication links, identifying an optimum configuration for data communication between the respective gaming stations and the gaming provider database, wherein the optimum configuration provides a minimum fair delay for the respective gaming stations, and configuring the communication network according to the optimum configuration. Abstract: A system for processing a file stored on a computing system includes causing a processor of the system to obtain file usage data that is indicative of a number of times the file is loaded into a memory of the system and to obtain file-size data that is indicative of a size the file. The system further includes causing the processor to obtain metadata indicative of contents the file and to determine a file value based on the file usage data and at least one of the file-size data, the metadata, or a file-identifier value that is derived from an identifier of the file, where the file value comprising a quantitative or qualitative indicator of a value of the file. The system additionally includes causing the processor to adjust processing of the file relative to processing of other files associated with the computing system based on the file value.

Abstract: A method including receiving, at an infrastructure device from a first device in a mesh network, a request to determine a communication parameter associated with communicating meshnet data with the first device; configuring a transport layer included in a network stack associated with the infrastructure device to determine the communication parameter and to transmit identification information indicating the communication parameter to an application layer included in the network stack; configuring the application layer to determine a response including the identification information; and transmitting, by the infrastructure device, the response to the first device. Abstract: An application executing on a mobile computing platform provides independent data channels over a mobile network to multiple separate computing systems that each maintain some data pertinent to problem determination and resolution when an incident arises in a monitored information technology (IT) environment. The application maintains and separately exercises the channels to provide timely information in a user interface that composites data to present a single interface with a multi-sourced contextual rendering. Some systems may include an IT monitoring system and a separate incident management system among its sources. Channels may include extended functionality to improve security or other aspects of communication with mobile platforms.

Abstract: Techniques are shown for enabling a network system to index data stored on a third-party server to allow the data stored on the third-party server to be searchable by searching functionality of the network system.

Abstract: A distributed automation control system includes a network for connecting members of the system to a central server for communication between the members and the central server. The members can include a device controlled by a microcontroller in communication with the network, a mobile object digitized to communicate with the central server via the network, and a facility component in communication with the central server. A member can be assigned to one or more groups of members for group learning and for generating a group heartbeat. Each member defines a safety volume which is monitored by the central server. When the safety volume of one member overlaps the safety volume of another member, the central server initiates a responsive action which can include ceasing the operation of at least one of the members.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for network based media processing. For example, an apparatus in a cloud for network based media processing (NBMP) includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry receives information associated with an entity in the cloud for NBMP. The processing circuitry obtains an NBMP entity identifier from the information associated with the entity. Then, the processing circuitry interprets the information associated with the entity based on the NBMP entity identifier.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for providing a permissions-aware search and knowledge management system that incorporates user suggested results, document verification, and intelligent user activity tracking across group hierarchies to improve the quality and relevance of search results are described. The permissions-aware search and knowledge management system may enable content stored across a variety of local and cloud-based data stores to be indexed, searched, and displayed to authorized users. The identification and ranking of relevant documents corresponding with a user's search query may take into account user suggested results from the user and others assigned to the same group as the user, whether the underlying content of a search result was verified by a content owner as being up-to-date, the amount of time that has passed since the underlying content was verified by the content owner, and the recent activity of the user and related group members.

Abstract: A method and system for capturing dynamic data from data fields of a product has been developed. The method includes first collecting a product data set with multiple data fields. Static data fields of the product data set are identified that contain pre-defined standardized data for multiple other data sets. Next, dynamic data fields of the data set are identified. A dynamic data field is created by a user and contains additional data that is unique and applicable only to the product data set. The static data fields and the dynamic data fields are stored separately in a database repository for later recovery.

Abstract: Generating and providing a content feed to a user that surfaces information items that are determined to be interesting or relevant to the user including content that is determined to be “distant” to the user is provided. Explicit user actions are used to discover peers who are not colleagues of the user (e.g., peers with whom the user does not share a close organizational relationship, peers with whom the user does not regularly communicate, etc.), but who the user indicates an interest in via his/her actions. These peers are categorized as elevated peers of the user, and information items associated with and trending around the elevated peers are surfaced to the user in a content feed.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a system call from an application within a container executing on an operating system, the system call comprising a synchronization operation to synchronize memory of the application to storage. The method further includes determining, by the kernel, whether a system call filtering policy associated with the container indicates that the system call is to be prevented. preventing, by the kernel, performance of the synchronization operation in view of the system call filtering policy.
