Abstract: A method for allowing a merchant to rate a customer as part of a card transaction between the customer and the merchant, the method being performed in a merchant device, the method including: a) obtaining a card number for a payment card of the customer for use in the card transaction; b) obtaining a customer rating input by the merchant; c) generating a transaction message including: i) transaction details indicative of the card transaction, the transaction details including the card number; and ii) the customer rating; and d) transferring the transaction message to a server via a payment network, to thereby allow the server to: i) determine a customer identifier based on the card number; and ii) cause the customer rating to be stored in a ratings database in association with the customer identifier.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a computer-executable method, computer system and non-transitory computer-readable medium for programmatically assessing consumer sentiment with regard to an attribute descriptor associated with a commercial entity and/or a commercial item. A computer-executed method includes programmatically accessing, via a network device, text of a consumer review and in indication of an attribute descriptor included in the text of the consumer review. The method also includes executing a consumer review processing engine to programmatically analyze the text of the consumer review to generate a sentiment score associated with the attribute descriptor in the context of the consumer review. The method further includes storing, on a non-transitory computer-readable storage device, an indication of the attribute descriptor and the generated sentiment score in association with the commercial entity and/or the commercial item.

Abstract: A method for implementing an action-based to-do list includes monitoring user actions with a personal management device which is configured to compare the user actions to a task definition file. A processor of the personal management device determines if the user actions fulfill one or more predefined conditions, within the task definition file. If a condition is fulfilled, the processor of the personal management device modifies the to-do list based on the fulfilled condition. A personal management device for implementing an action-based to-do list includes a user interface configured to allow a user to interact with a to-do list application and a processor configured to execute the to-do list application.

Abstract: Systems and methods for assisting in pairing entities in an electronic payments processing network are disclosed herein. For example, systems and methods are disclosed herein for generating a customized user interface for displaying a plurality of potential partners/resellers for pairing with one or more leads. Systems and methods herein may be used to receive the identity of one or more potential partners/resellers having a plurality of attributes, receive the identity of one or more new leads and a plurality of lead attributes, select one or more potential partners/resellers having attributes that are compatible with the plurality of lead attributes, and display the one or more potential partners/resellers on a graphical user interface.

Abstract: A Business Process Management (BPM) information display system and method includes identifying a BPM asset that has been modified, comparing the modified BPM asset to a second version of the BPM asset, and identifying an activity within the modified BPM asset that has been modified. A user interface is generated by a computing system in which the modified BPM asset and the second version of the BPM asset are displayed, including highlighting the modified activity on the user interface.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for analytically generating micro-service Consumer- Driven Contracts and automated tests. One method comprises obtaining a plurality of usage data records for consumers of a service from a run-time environment; extracting data features from the usage data records; applying a clustering algorithm to the usage data records to assign the usage data records to a given usage pattern cluster of a plurality of usage pattern clusters based on the extracted data features, wherein each of the plurality of usage pattern clusters comprises usage data records; and performing the following steps when the clustering algorithm creates a new usage pattern cluster: creating a new Consumer-Driven Contract that defines consumer expectations of the service, with respect to the new usage pattern associated with the new usage pattern cluster; and generating automated Consumer-Driven Contract tests to test the new Consumer-Driven Contract.

Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to rapidly logging sales activities in a customer relationship management system. It also relates to simplifying logging of sale activities by offering a streamlined data entry path that as immense usability in a mobile environment. The streamlined data entry path can be completed by triple-action, double-action, or single-action. In particular, the technology disclosed relates to automatically identifying and selecting entities that are most likely to be selected by a user. The identification of entities as most likely to be selected is dependent at least upon access recency of records of the entities, imminence of events linked to the entities, and geographic proximities of the entities to the user. It further relates to automatically identifying and selecting sales activities that are most likely to be performed by the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating inferred reviews of service providers. Inferred reviews may be generated based on user behavior data for one or more users. The user behavior data may include information that represents how far a user travels to a service provider, how many similar service providers the user passes on the way to the service provider, a number of repeat visits to the service provider, a typical time for services at the service provider, or a length of time the user has been a customer or attendee of the service provider. A service provider may include a merchant, a hotel, a physician, a contractor, another service provider that provides goods or services for a cost or may include non-profit service providers, charity-based service providers or public locations such as parks, rest stops or other locations.

Abstract: Balancing a workload based on commitments to projects includes monitoring messages in a collaboration system, the messages representing correspondences between users of the collaboration system, selecting a number of the users associated with the collaboration system to form a group of users, retrieving the messages from each of the users in the group of users, analyzing data associated with the messages to determine which of the messages relate to at least one project, and executing, based on a threshold, at least one action to optimize a workload for at least one user in the group of users for the at least one project.

Abstract: In the field of government engagement management, an agent guide or script-flow in an employee desktop web client is implemented. In such a system and method, when agents create interactions with clients they can follow a script-flow which will guide the agent through the interaction through a series of menu selections and automated sets of instructions. This feature of the government engagement management system allows existing customer investment from the rich desktop client or non-web client in developing specific scripts, that can also now function in the web client atmosphere. This system and method also enables an agent to handle calls with the web client more efficiently, and allows agents on the web client to automatically classify.

Abstract: Systems and methods to identify intentionally placed products in media content are disclosed. A disclosed system to detect intentionally placed products in media content includes a placement monitor site to record an occurrence of a first intentionally placed product within first broadcast media content in a product placement record; an audience measurement site to record an audience interaction with a second intentionally placed product in second broadcast media content in an event record; and a collection facility to receive the product placement record and the event record.

Abstract: A computer program programmed to assist management of a group in deploying, training, hiring, and firing staff and other resources of the group. The program builds a model of a group, the model including the organizational structure, missions, and tasks that the group performs to achieve its missions. The program queries managers of a group to obtain the managers' requested levels for a plurality of resources for the group, including requested levels of proficiency for a plurality of competencies. The program queries staff members of the group to obtain staff assessments of the degree to which the group meets the requested levels and competencies. The program compares the managers' requested levels and the staff assessments to identify mismatches between the requests and assessments, and reports those mismatches to the managers, for example, in the form of suggestions for training of staff. The program may perturb the model to reflect a change of a requirement imposed on the group.

Abstract: Provided are various methods of data collection and providing feedback to business owners and other types of venues using a software application. The software application includes various levels including a venue software application level, a consumer software application level and a cloud-based server software application level. The consumer software application is downloaded onto a smart device and notifications are sent to the smart device when a consumer enters a venue's defined geo-fences. The notification informs the consumer of survey-voucher pairs, where vouchers may be redeemed in exchange for the consumer completing surveys. The information obtained from the surveys provides feedback to venues and business owners.

Abstract: Methods and arrangements for determining at least one employment trait of an individual from online activity. Collecting a plurality of employment task data points from a plurality of online sources, wherein each employment task comprises a data set indicative of a path taken by at least one individual from a starting point to an ending point, wherein the starting point and ending point are defined on the basis of common parameters. The collected plurality of employment task data points are assessed, to determine an employment trend of the individual and creating at least one profile of the individual based on the determined employment trend. At least one profile is stored at a data storage location. Other variants and embodiments are broadly contemplated herein.

In this way, the question itself is analyzed and questions determined to be low engagement probability questions submitted by asking users that have a low probability of further engagement with the question and answer based customer support system are provided to the support resources on a low priority basis and questions determined to be high engagement probability questions submitted by asking users that have a high probability of further engagement with the question and answer based customer support system are provided to the support resources on a high priority basis.
