  • Patent number: 10475044
Abstract: Before routing a question submitted to a question and answer based customer support system to support resources, and before any specific answer data is generated, the submitted question data is analyzed to predict asking user engagement with the question and answer based customer support system after the asking user's question is submitted. In this way, the question itself is analyzed and questions determined to be low engagement probability questions submitted by asking users that have a low probability of further engagement with the question and answer based customer support system are provided to the support resources on a low priority basis and questions determined to be high engagement probability questions submitted by asking users that have a high probability of further engagement with the question and answer based customer support system are provided to the support resources on a high priority basis.

  • Patent number: 10475042
Abstract: Users may post issues and questions on public social media websites and other public forums. A business or product of the business may be the subject of the post. With a properly trained system the business can determined if another community member is likely provide and accurate, sufficient, and timely response to the post. If so, the business can avoid allocating resources to respond to such posts. However, if it is determined that an appropriate response is not likely, or not likely within an acceptable timeframe, the business may notify an agent to provide an appropriate response. As a benefit, the business may leverage a community of knowledgeable users to provide assistance to other users and thereby not expend resources unnecessarily.

  • Patent number: 10410226
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for performing a total unduplicated reach and frequency analysis that analyzes a large set of variables practically. A plurality of variables are received. A subset of the plurality of variables is identified as variables of interest. Variables are partitioned randomly into groups. Each of the groups of variables contains fewer than a predetermined maximum number of variables for each group. The best combination of variables within each group is found through a total unduplicated reach and frequency analysis of each group. The winning variable or variables within each group are identified based on the highest reach score. The winners from each group analysis are then pooled into a group, and the process is repeated. The combination from the second stage with the best reach is then reported. Additional variable combinations ranked by reach may also be reported.

  • Patent number: 10346907
Abstract: In some examples, a payment system may receive, from a point-of-sale (POS) computing device of a merchant, transaction data for a plurality of financial transactions corresponding to purchases by a plurality of customers of items from the merchant. The payment system may determine, based in part on the received transaction data, an amount that is expected to be paid by the merchant during an upcoming time period. Furthermore, the payment system may determine, based at least partially on the transaction data, that the merchant is eligible to receive financing from the payment system for at least a portion of the amount. The payment system may send a notification that causes an application on a computing device of the merchant to display a financing offer interface presenting an offer for financing based on the amount. The payment system may receive, via the financing offer interface, an acceptance of the financing.
