  • Patent number: 11290304
Abstract: Sounding reference signal (SRS) carrier switching with short transmission time interval (sTTI)/short processing time (sPT) is discussed. A user equipment (UE) with aggregated communications including multiple time division duplex (TDD) downlink-only configured carriers may be triggered for sounding reference signal (SRS) carrier switching via a downlink control signal. The UE determines whether there are any other signals colliding or that may conflict with its transmission of SRS on a new carrier and resolves any apparent collision or conflict using a combination of signal, timing, or processing configuration prioritization. The SRS may be transmitted when conditions allow the UE to tune to the other carrier and tune back before any higher priority transmissions are scheduled.

  • Patent number: 11283540
Abstract: Aspects herein relate to inter-cell interference randomization between two or more cells. For example, a network entity may determine a cell identifier associated with the network entity and perform at least one of an interleaving, rate-matching, or resource element mapping on at least one codeword based on the cell identifier. The network entity may further communicate with a user equipment (UE) in accordance with performing at least one of the interleaving, rate-matching, or resource element mapping on the at least one codeword. In another example, a UE may receive a message from a network entity on a communication channel and identify a cell identifier associated with the network entity. The UE may further perform at least one of a de-interleaving, de-rate-matching, or resource element de-mapping on the message based on the cell identifier.

  • Patent number: 11284404
Abstract: A device and method of avoiding future self-interference are described. During a current predetermined time period, a priori knowledge of an RF environment is used to determine a change in the environment in a next predetermined time period. Transmission on an interfering channel in response to the change leads to generation of an indication to another device to switch communications in the next predetermined time period to a new channel that is unaffected by transmission on the interfering channel. The new channel is set by the indication or is negotiated by the other device from a list of channels to use in the indication.

  • Patent number: 11272466
Abstract: Maintaining time alignment with multiple carriers is contemplated. A group of uplink carriers (UL CC sets) that operate with a single Timing Advance (TA) may be determined, and a TA value may be applied to a specific UL CC set. A wireless transmit/receive unit's (WTRU) capability of using multiple TAs may define a group index of a few bits for each UL CC set. A TA Command received in a Random Access Response message may be used to apply the TA value to each UL carrier of the UL CC set. The WTRU may determine which UL CC set the TA value applies to based on which DL carrier the command was transmitted from. The WTRU may determine which UL CC set the TA value applies to based on the Group Index being explicitly provided in the command. The WTRU may release multi-CC configurations upon Time Alignment Timer (TAT) expiry.

  • Patent number: 11265811
Abstract: A monitor and control system and a method of monitoring and controlling an onboard system of an assembly includes one or more of a plurality of sensors detects whether an event occurred in the onboard system. The sensors communicate with a master controller when the master controller is in a nominal mode in which the master controller is powered on to actively monitor the sensors, and includes a sleep mode in which the master controller is powered off and does not monitor the sensors when in the sleep mode. An agent controller monitors the sensors when the master controller is in the sleep mode. One or more of the sensors signal the agent controller that the event has occurred. The agent controller signals the master controller to awaken from the sleep mode in response to the one or more of the sensors signaling the agent controller of the event.
