  • Patent number: 10767988
Abstract: A CMM has a measuring head for recording measurement values associated with an object having a plurality of geometric elements. Defined geometric elements are selected from the plurality of geometric elements and test features relating to the defined geometric elements are determined depending on demand data provided for the geometric elements. Initially, a first measurement sequence including first control commands for controlling the measuring head are determined depending on the test features. The first measurement sequence is modified before the individual measurement values are recorded in order to obtain a second measurement sequence with second control commands, which differ from the first control commands.

  • Patent number: 10760961
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for testing a retinal implant. After an implantable device for interfacing with retinal cells is provided, an external stimulus is applied to the implantable device so that the implantable device transmits a first pulse to a processing device through a wireless interface. When a conversion unit is controlled to gradually decrease an output voltage until the implantable device outputs an output voltage lower than a reference voltage, the implantable device transmits a signal different from the first pulse to the processing device through the wireless interface. The processing device determines a current value of a pixel unit according to a time difference between the first pulse and the signal.

  • Patent number: 10733331
Abstract: Monitoring of a state of a system can be accurately performed even when a timing at which a relation changes is different for each set of the metrics. A monitoring apparatus 100 includes a model storage unit 122 and a determination unit 115. The model storage unit 122 stores, for each of a plurality of metric sets in a system, a model representing a relation among metrics included in the corresponding metric set. The determination unit 115 determines and outputs whether the system is in one state, by comparing a combination of models to which the plurality of metric sets conform respectively when the system is in the one state and a combination of models to which the plurality of metric sets conform respectively when the system is in a state to be determined.

  • Patent number: 10705173
Abstract: A system, a method, and a computer program product are provided. At predetermined times, a processing element processes a new vector represented by a last received magnetic measurement from a magnetometer and indicating a direction and a magnitude of a sensed magnetic field. When the new vector satisfies multiple criteria, the new vector is added to a determined vector set. The processing element processes multiple magnetometer measurements using a Monte Carlo best fit determination and modal partitioning to produce new calibration parameters that define a calibration sphere. The new calibration parameters are applied and stored in a memory element when at least a predetermined number of vectors are consecutively added to the determined one of the multiple vector sets.
