Abstract: An automatic sanitary facility for public or private use which comprises a service column connected to the electrical and hydraulic network and connectable to one or more toilet compartments, each provided with a floor-level or cup-shaped toilet bowl, the service column being equipped with automatic means for control and for hydraulic and mechanical cleaning, each of the mentioned bowls being transferable by means of an actuator to the inside of the service column for cleaning operations.

Abstract: A flushing device controllable for discharging a desired amount of water after use of a toilet is provided with a cylinder supported within the tank, a piston slidable in the cylinder and divides the inner space thereof into an upper chamber and a lower chamber with variable volumes, on the piston there are provided with through holes for communicating these two chambers, and a flexible baffle member is attached to the bottom surface of the piston and capable of admitting the water to flow from the upper chamber into the lower chamber.

Abstract: A faucet, such as a mixing valve (32), is connected to plumbing pipes through a fixture (7) adjustably received in a bore (19) of a fitting member (4) mounted in a housing (5). The position adjustable fixture (7) has two longitudinal ducts (28, 30) provided with duct inlets (36, 38) opening into ring grooves (37, 39). Sealing rings (40) on the fixture separate the duct inlets and grooves in pairs for keeping cold and hot water apart upstream of the mixing valve. The duct inlets communicate through ports (45, 47) with chambers (12, 14) in the fitting member. The chambers in turn are connected to the plumbing pipe to provide a separate through flow connection between the pipes and the mixing valve separately for the hot and cold water.

Abstract: A threaded assembly for installing a whirlpool bath in an in-place bathtub is formed by using a ninety (90.degree.) degree elbow having a slip glue fitting at one end and a female threaded connection at the other end. The female threaded connection cooperates with male threads of an inlet or outlet. The inlet or outlet include a flange which appears on the water side of the tub.

Abstract: This invention relates generally to a device for automatically returning a lifted toilet seat, or a lifted toilet seat and its cover, when so equipped, to its normal lowered or horizontal position on the toilet bowl. More particularly, the invention relates to an easily mountable device for automatically returning a lifted toilet seat, or seat and cover, to the lowered position, a predetermined interval of time after the seat or cover is lifted and released, and in which this interval of time can be adjusted.

Abstract: A toilet trip lever assembly which is mountable in a hole in a sidewall of a toilet tank is disclosed. A bearing extends through the hole and has an axial bore therethrough. Retaining means is affixed to the bearing inside the toilet tank to limit the outward movement of the bearing relative to the hole. A stem is journaled within the bearing and has an end which extends into the toilet tank and includes an offset surface. A handle is connected to the outer end of the stem and is operable by a user to rotate the stem. A boom is mounted to pivot in a plane perpendicular to the tank side wall about a pivot post which extends radially from the retaining means. An arm extends from the boom onto the offset surface and an end of the boom is connected to a flush valve. Rotation of the stem and offset surface pivots the boom to flush the toilet.

Abstract: The lifting device for use in a bath tub consists of a bottom frame, lying on the ground of a bath tub, and an upper frame which is in parallel to the bottom frame and adjustable in height, and a supporting plate being fixed on the upper frame. Between the bottom frame and the upper frame is arranged a pantograph type frame consisting of two interconnected slewing frames. In order to reach a large lifting height, a Z-shaped lifting hose is sectionally fastened at the slewing frame in such a way that the horizontal hose sections prop against correspondent and adjacent inclined hose sections. By this, in order to reach a large lifting height, not only the variation of length but also the increase of width of the lifting hose are used when supplying the hose with compressed water.

Abstract: A device for washing the posterior parts of the human body includes an electrically operated driving means which moves a nozzle means certainly either to a first position for washing the anal area or to a second position for washing the female genitals, independently of the hydraulic pressure used. The nozzle means can be shifted forward or backward from the first or second position within a given range according to the instruction from the user.

Abstract: In a drive shaft assembly particularly for agricultural implements, a pair of telescoping tubes which may be placed in torque transmitting engagement with each other are provided with a profiled hub on the outer tube at the end thereof where the inner tube is inserted, with the profiled hub consisting essentially of formed inserts in a number corresponding to a number of ribs provided on the inner tube, with contact faces being provided on both sides of the inserts in the circumferential direction to correspond to the shape of the ribs, the insert being held in rotationally fixed engagement with the outer tube.

Abstract: A friction clutch including a clutch disc member retained in a clutch outer member securely mounted on one of two opposing shafts and pressed against a rotationally blocked friction disc on the other shaft to transmit torque thereto. The clutch outer member has a notched cylindrical body, and the clutch disc member, which is accommodated in the cylindrical body, has a projection extending radially outwardly from a circumferential portion thereof and loosely fitted in the notch. The clutch construction ensures smooth coupling of the two shafts in spite of abrupt changes in load conditions, thus protecting the associated component parts from mechanical shocks.
