  • Patent number: 11329951
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for enabling secure transfer of Internet domains between registrars. An example method can include receiving, at a registry, a request from a first registrar for information associated with an object recorded in the registry and registered by the first registrar, then generating, at the registry, an authorization code, the authorization code having an expiration. The registry can then transmit, to the first registrar, the authorization code, which in turn can be given to the registrant. The registrant can forward the authorization code to the second registrar, and the registry can receive, from a second registrar before the expiration has been reached: the authorization code and a transfer request for the object, the transfer request identifying a transfer of the object from the first registrar to the second registrar.

  • Patent number: 11323371
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for using Operations, Administration, and Management (OAM) operations when routing packets using micro SIDs in segment routing. For example, a network device comprises one or more processors configured to: receive a packet; determine whether the packet is encapsulated with one or more micro segment identifiers (SIDs); in response to a determination that the packet is not encapsulated with one or more micro SIDs, determine whether the packet has reached a segment routing tunnel endpoint; and in response to a determination that the packet has reached the segment routing tunnel endpoint, initiate Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM).

  • Patent number: 11310197
Abstract: Provided is an IP address use area identifying system, including: a communication path detection unit 11 detecting a communication path including router passing information; and an area identifying unit 12 identifying an area from an IP address of a router located at an end of the detected communication path, with reference to IP address use area information in which the IP address is associated with the area in which the IP address is used, in which when the area identifying unit 12 identifies the area, an extent of the area identified from the IP address is varied on the basis of the number of routers included in the detected communication path, by utilizing a network characteristic that the number of routers to be passed through when a communication path can be detected up to a transmission source user terminal (up to a terminal end of the communication path) becomes a prescribed number, and thus, even when the communication path is not capable of being traced up to the transmission source user terminal, t

  • Patent number: 11277309
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a method for deploying software-implemented resources in a software defined datacenter (SDDC). The method initially receives a hierarchical API command that, in a declarative format, specifies several operation requests for several software-defined (SD) resources at several resource levels of a resource hierarchy in the SDDC. The method parses the API command to identify the SD resources at the plurality of resource levels. Based on the parsed API command, the method deploys the SD resources by using a deployment process that ensures that any first SD resource on which a second SD resource depends is deployed before the second resource. In some embodiments, a second SD resource depends on a first SD resource when the second SD resource is a child of the first SD resource. Alternatively, or conjunctively, a second SD resource can also depend on a first SD resource in some embodiments when the second SD resource has some operational dependency on the first SD resource.

  • Patent number: 11252101
Abstract: A segment identifier (SID) manager interfaces with clients by way of a library. Clients implementing network services and needing SIDs according to internet SRv6, are allocated blocks by the SID manager using the library. Clients assign SIDs from the block independent of the SID manager using the library. Where a threshold portion of the block is assigned, the library requests an additional block of SIDs from the SID manager. Clients transmit context mappings of assigned SIDs to the SID manager for use by administrators and to enable recovery in the event of failure.

  • Patent number: 11228513
Abstract: One example packet processing device includes a buffer, and the packet processing device obtains a to-be-measured packet. In response to determining that occupied storage space in the buffer is less than a preset threshold, the packet processing device reads the to-be-measured information from the buffer, and modifies, based on the to-be-measured information and a first algorithm, a pieces of data in first measurement data corresponding to the to-be-measured packet, where a is a positive integer. In response to determining that occupied storage space in the buffer is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, the packet processing device modifies, based on to-be-measured information and a second algorithm, w pieces of data in second measurement data corresponding to the to-be-measured packet, where w is a positive integer, and w is less than a.

  • Patent number: 11228658
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing requests to execute a program code of a user use a message queue service to store requests when there are not enough resources to process the requests. The message queue service determines whether a request to be queued is associated with data that the program code needs in order to process the request. If so, the message queue service locates and retrieves the data and stores the data in a cache storage that provides faster access by the program code to the pre-fetched data. This provides faster execution of asynchronous instances of the program code.
